Useful continuous sensing applications are increasingly emerging as a new class of mobile applications. Meanwhile, open, multi-use sensor devices are newly adopted beyond smartphones, and provide huge opportunities to expand potential application categories. In this upcoming environment, uncoordinated use of sensor devices would cause severe imbalance in power consumption of devices, and thus result in early shutdown of some sensing applications depending on power-hungry devices. In this paper, we propose EnergyCordy, a novel inter-device energy use coordination system; with a system-wide holistic view, it coordinates the energy use of concurrent sensing applications over multiple sensor devices. As its key approach, we propose a relaxed sensor association; it decouples the energy use of an application from specific sensor devices leveraging multiple context inference alternatives, allowing flexible energy coordination at runtime. We demonstrated the effectiveness of EnergyCordy by developing multiple example applications over custom-designed wearable senor devices. We show that EnergyCordy effectively coordinates the power usage of concurrent sensing applications over multiple devices and prevent undesired early shutdown of applications.

Aesthetic plastic surgery rarely has the lifesaving, the medical necessity, and the emergency, because it was executed in order to acquire personal satisfaction in the external features. In addition, aesthetic plastic surgery has the strong commerciality in that it is based on the attraction of a client through medical advertisement and the range of uninsurance. These characteristics cause whether aesthetic plastic surgery is included in medical procedure and the legal contract between physician and client is controversial issue. Also, attention and explanation in aesthetic plastic surgery are more emphasized than those in general medical procedure. According, this document presents the various characteristics of aesthetic plastic surgery, which differs from that of general medical procedure.

With recent growth of population and industry, urban development grows into grand scheme of excavation and construction in urban area. As the development progress advanced, the developments get large and deepen. With a progress of technology development in geotechnical engineering in Korea, most our grand scheme of projects follows great progress. On the other hand, some excavation in construction site caused direct or indirect event that affects the adjacent or surrounding structures by excavation from time to time. This event usually happens around residential and commercial area where underground tunnel, subway station, commercial building, and high-rises excavation site is, could lead great damage on economy as well as personal injury or human casualties. In order to prevent this event, the study has to be done with analysis on various events of excavation and its cause. In this paper, the research has collected the various excavation events and their causes to analyze on each site and event to define emphasis on surrounding environment.

This paper presented a actual conditions on a false-tripping of ELB(Electrical Leakage Breaker) and an assessment of the harmonics due to non-linear electronic equipment such as personal computers, printers, fax machines, and test equipments in several office buildings. Actual conditions on a failure of ELB were surveyed and analyzed by making up a question to safety managers of in office buildings. Also, power quality measurements such as harmonic currents, voltage and current waveforms and current imbalance were made at various office buildings where nuisance tripping of ELB is often occurred. The results of this study can be used in making decisions regarding cause of ELB trip and operating md tripping characteristics test of ELB when subjected to distorted current waveforms.

The objectives of this study were to identify the cause of consumers for purchasing foods from various distribution channels, and to compare with characteristics of consumers by each distribution channel. The distribution channels as the basis of comparison were four types namely, the consumer cooperatives / environment－friendly specialized stores, large retail discount stores, direct marketing and parents / relatives. The researcher developed a questionnaires, and a total of 190 questionnaires were collected and 186 of them were analyzed. The data were analyzed utilizing the SPSS－WIN 12.0K program and major statistical technique were mean, percentage, t－test, Chi－square test, ANOVA. There were differences in the quality perception, demographical characteristics, relationship with rural communities and personal experiences of the consumers according to the distribution channels.

This paper describes the dual system technology of PC based control system at steel plant. Because PC is developed to be used in wide area such as Office Automation, Personal, It is cheaper and more portable than the present process control system, but is less stable and less reliable. In this research, We gathered the fault example of a general process control system and steel process control system, analyzed the cause of fault and decided the target fault that took over in our proposed system. When we estimate the population proportion of the individuals in the population for the attribute or the characteristic, we consider the sample survey. We can consider many methods of the sample survey, as mail questionnaire, visits, personal calls, etc. When we have the list of units in the population, we usually make use of the mail questionnaire. It is economical and free from the investigator's effect on the respondent, but it has some objections. The principal objection is that it involves a large nonresponse rate that might cause a singificant bias in the result. The bias arises from the different in the characteristics under investigation between those who respond and those who do not respond.

Recently, much attention is paid on the office design be-cause the real world of work has undergone substantial changes, in both spatial and temporal aspects, due to the in-troduction of data processing technologies and new types of production. Today's renewed objectives of office are to define new physical space for work, to deal with economic and organizational changes. In the period of information, the purpose of an office is to improve the productivity for employers employees the comfort and vitality. Today's intellecture resources are necessary for the development in the modern business. The Hypid office, as an alternative in order to correspond the rapid changes, is proposed to give the space for satisfy-ing the basic desires of a human being-eating, resting and working. Accompanying with flexibility and comfortability, this office should include the space for personal purpose and the space for social purpose. Applying the concept of comfort like at home leads to re-lease a worker's stress from the society of information. The future office which is to enhance the quality of culture by in-tegrating indivisual, domestic and social life should commu-nicate efficiency, movement, energy, transformation.

Aims: This study was designed to describe the personal life experiences of breast cancer survivors regarding their efforts to recover and preserve their health in Taiwan. Method: The study utilized a qualitative research method, wherein purposive sampling, one-on-one, face-to-face, in-depth semi-structured interviews were conducted. The data were then analyzed using content analysis. Data were saturated after interviewing 15 cancer survivors. Results: Three common themes emerged: introspection on the cause of the cancer, realization of a harmonized lifestyle, and reflecting on the strong will to survive. Conclusions: These findings are helpful in understanding the relationship between breast cancer survival and individual efforts to restore and preserve health.

The fertility rate of Korea has rapidly decreased to the lowest in the World. The fertility rate below replacement fertility level might result in many social problems. First, this study investigated the cause of low fertility rate. Second, the theories of the relationship between fertility rate and women's employment were reviewed. The previous studies suggested that the fertility rate was not always related to women's employment negatively and there was mediating factors between them. Third, the various factors that mediated the negative relationship between fertility rate and women's employment were described in personal, family and social levels. Finally, this study suggested the policies and strategies to solve the low fertility rate problem in Korea.
