A site-specific performance is a genre and a phenomenon that has recently emerged as a recent paradigm of performing arts: a communality. It involves the performativity of the audience and has various phenomena of contemporary performing art. This study aims to figure out methods of performativity. "Lost Missing and Forgotten," which is a collaboration from Finland and Korea created in 2012 and "Trailer," which is held in Copenhagen Denmark in 2010 by Kitt Johnson. Three principles of performativity which have borrowed as critical tools for this study are role reversal, community building, and contact, which based on "The Aesthetics of Performativity," written by Erika Fischer-Lichte in 2017. The study results show that performativity in the vertical structure and horizontal structure of site-specific performance can act as an environmental factor through the audience's body. Additionally, it turned out that role reversal principle was transformation audience to a creator; community building principle led to an interest in neighbors. Lastly, the contact principle was one of the methods to watch the performance.

이 논문은 1990년대 중반 이후 깔롱(Callon), 맥켄지(MacKenzie) 등을 주축으로 논의된 '수행성 테제'(performativity thesis)에 대한 개념과 사례 및 함의를 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 과학기술학(STS) 학자들에 의해 주창되고 발전된 수행성 테제는 경제사회학 분야에서 주로 논의되었으나, 최근에는 일반 경제학, 회계학 등 다른 연구분야에도 확산되어 논의되고 있다. 수행성 테제의 핵심 주장은 '경제학 이론이 경제를 수행적으로 구성한다'는 것으로, 시장 참여자나 경제학자가 아닌 '이론'에 행위능력을 적극적으로 부여하는 것이다. 이 논문은 수행성 테제의 개념적 기원이 기존의 다른 분과학문뿐 아니라 STS 연구의 연장선 상에 놓여 있다고 본다. 특히 일견 단절적으로 보이는 머튼(Merton)의 '자기 실현적 예언'에서 파생한 수행성 개념과 행위자-연결망 이론(ANT)의 지적 전통을 강조한다. 수행성 연구 프로그램은 ANT 논쟁의 새 버전으로 비견될 정도로 STS 내외로부터 많은 비판을 받았음에도 불구하고, 전통적인 과학기술 분야로부터 경제와 시장으로 연구대상을 확장하고, STS의 독특한 시각으로 경제와 시장을 해석하고 기술했다는 측면에서 의의가 있다.

This paper aims to examine the performativity of street politics through Suffragette. The movie exposes the bloody violence of Britain government and shows the militant suffragettes and their resistance against it. It also deals with history and 'story'of labor class suffragettes for political rights. The paper shows how the movie is re-born as an indexical art and the street politics makes the plural performativity. Most of all, it reads the difference between the government's violence wielded as a power to suppress the suffragettes and bring them to their knees, and the suffragettes's violence having the resistant and emancipated revolution. We can realize that the suffragettes used the mode of visibility to expose its incompetence and make their emancipated violence into the indexical force. And we can see the variations of street politics from the acts of Davison, Maud, and Violet.

본 연구는 근대 국민국가와 자본주의 체제가 수립된 이후 급속하게 진행된 로컬 경관의 변화를 새롭게 해석하기 위한 틀을 만들기 위한 시론적 작업으로 이루어졌다. 틀의 토대가 될 주요 개념은 권력(power), 주체성(subjectivity), 수행성(performativity)이며, 향후 이 개념들을 보다 치밀하게 결합된 해석의 틀로 발전시킨 뒤 다양하며 역동적으로 변화한 (탈)중심화 경관의 구체적 현상을 연구하는 데 응용될 것이다. 국민국가 하에서 국가권력은 통치, 국민적 정체성, 중앙집중적 경제발전 등을 실행하기 위해 상이한 로컬의 문화 역사와 다양한 주체들의 가치를 파괴하거나 주변화 시킨다. 이는 경관을 매개로 작동하며, 경관에 나타난다. 그리고 역사의 흐름 속에서 국가 권력에 의해 형성된 경관은 로컬에서 갈등의 동인으로 작동하기도 한다. 경관은 다양한 주체들에 의해 만들어지며, 역으로 생성된 경관은 사람들의 정서, 인식, 행동에 능동적인 영향을 미친다. 이러한 경관과 주체성의 역동적 관계를 근대 이념, 국민국가, 자본주의 체제는 이성/합리성, 전체성/집단성, 이성과 감성의 분리 등에 의해 위장하거나 배제 혹은 주변화시켰다. 그리고 경관과 주체성의 관계에 관한 논의는 주체들의 저항성과 창의성에 무게를 둔다. 마지막으로 경관은 선험적으로 혹은 객관적으로 표현되는 개념 혹은 주체의 감성과 인지와 분리될 수 있는 물체(혹은 객체)가 아니라 상이한 주체들과의 수행적 관계 속에서 해석되어야 한다. 수행성은 경관의 물질성, 권력, 주체성을 결합시킬 뿐만 아니라 경관 자체의 능동적 역할을 이해하는 데도 중요한 역할을 할 것이다.

On the website r/NYYankees, a sub-forum ("subreddit") of Reddit is devoted to the Major League Baseball team New York Yankees, with its predominantly male users showing their appreciation for baseball heroes by expressing erotic desires towards the players. When a player performs well, the subreddit is filled with admiration of desires to become the player's intimate lover-explicitly expressed by "male" fans. This paper explains the phenomenon of young male fans' desire for the now-lost model of traditional masculinity of domination and control, displayed in the context of baseball players' dominant performances. The discrepancy between a fan's non-homosexual real-world self and his homoerotic language on the subreddit is explained using the "performative fandom" theory, developed by Osborne and Coombs borrowing Butler's notion of performativity. This paper suggests how this desire for traditional masculinity serves as recognition to the collapse of masculinity in the modern American society.

The music videos of BTS go beyond the limit of media promoting music and shows their meaning in various ways and complete the visual message of music through fashion style. BTS' fashion style in the music videos shows a change in symbolic representation of the genre of each album and song, of which gender images are changing aligned with the music messages of BTS. The purpose of this study was to derive gender images of fashion style in BTS music videos and to interpret their meaning based on Judith Butler's theory that performativity creates discourse through iterative process. It is conducted as a research method, an analytical study was conducted in parallel with literature studies and empirical case analysis. The scope of the study was limited to 301 costumes that appeared in 21 official music videos from debut single album '2Cool 4 Skool' released in 2013 to the mini album 'Map of the Soul: Persona' released in 2019. As a result of the analysis, the controversial fashion style, challenging fashion style, boyish fashion style, hybrid fashion style, the playful fashion style were revealed. The conclusion of studying the gender image of BTS, interpreted by this analysis using Judith Butler's theory, is as follows. The gender image of BTS is the traditional image that identifies with the dominant gender discourse, the resistive gender image that intentionally distances mainstream culture, the eclectic image parodying the gender of the opposing term, and the deconstructive image that transcends the dominant gender discourse.

비주얼 노블은 여러 멀티미디어적 요소를 결합한 연출과 게임성이 돋보이는 수행성을 살리고 하이퍼텍스트 구조를 살린 서사를 도입하면서 플레이어인 독자에게 텍스트 읽기의 즐거움을 다양한 방면으로 전하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 본 분석은 게임성과 서사성을 함께 추구하려고 한 비주얼 노블 컨텐츠가 멀티 시나리오를 구축하는데 있어 어떤 경향으로 제작해 왔는지 수행성이 서사에 담긴 시나리오와, 캐릭터별로 멀티 시타리오를 구축한 두 가지 유형으로 나누어 분석한다. 비주얼 노블은 서사와 게임성을 추구하는 컨텐츠로, 입체적 서사구성에 방점을 두고 있으며 이러한 멀티 시나리오의 구조를 알아가는 것은 앞으로의 컨텐츠 창작에 있어 실제적인 도움이 될 것이라 기대한다.

최근 공연예술에서 두드러지게 확인할 수 있는 현상은 바로 예술 생산물의 사회적 공유이다. 각 지자체의 도시 재해석의 결과로서 공연물 제작, 극장을 벗어난 공연의 활성화, 그리고 거리 및 특정한 공간 및 공공의 공간에서 이뤄지는 공연 행위 등은 기존의 극장 중심의 공연 형태에서 벗어나 사회적 소통과 확대를 통해 예술행위의 외연 확장을 위한 노력으로 보인다. 나아가 이는 동시대 공연예술의 공공성의 위치를 반증한다고 볼 수 있겠다. 이에 본 연구자는 몇 년 전부터 활발하게 행해져온 공공예술의 한 부류인 장소 특정적 공연 형태를 근거로 하여 최근 일어난 이태리 발사로 델 그라파 도시의 (Balsano del grapa) 전시 축제인 오페라 에스테이트(Operaestate) 축제를 통해 관객과 학습자의 수행성을 연구하고자 한다.

Among Filipino entertainers in Japan, trans women (transgender women) or transpinay (Filipino trans woman) entertainers remain understudied compared to cisgender women. Though the number of entertainers has declined, transpinay entertainers remain relevant as transgender issues continue to be salient globally. This study explains the gendered experiences of the transpinay migrants, particularly in entertainment work and their relationships, which are different from cisgender Filipino women entertainers' experiences. Using grounded theory and drawing on concepts of performativity in interactions to analyze the narratives of transpinay entertainers, I delve into how transpinay entertainers negotiate their gender and migrant identities as they establish professional and personal relationships. Moreover, the transpinays' entertainment work is a significant contributing factor to their sense of belonging in Japan, as they form relationships with colleagues, clients, and partners who support them and, thereby, sustain their lifestyles as trans women. The transpinay entertainers' flows of migration between Japan and the Philippines reveal that they embrace various aspects of social remittances and use them to their advantage to create and enhance their transpinay identity in Japan. By examining the transpinays' migrant experiences, this study aims to elucidate the gendered experiences of transpinay entertainers, which involve significant negotiations in their migration pathways notably different from cisgender Filipino women entertainers, reveal resilience.

본 연구는 복강경 위절제환자의 임상적 건강관리에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하고자 시도하였다. 자료수집은 2012년 1월 16일부터 2월 16일까지 수도권 지역의 종합병원 외과에 내원한 환자 201명을 설문 및 면접조사를 하였다. 연구결과로는 첫째, 수행성과 효율성은 유의한 양의 상관관계를 나타내었다(r=0.24, p<.01). 둘째, 선정된 변수에 의해 임상적 건강관리의 설명력은 42.7%이었다. 셋째, 다중회귀 분석결과 효율성이 0.25로 건강관리 실행에 가장 영향력이 있는 변수였으며 유의한 것으로 나타났다(p=.02). 이러한 결과를 토대로 복강경 위절제술환자의 임상적 건강관리정도를 높이기 위해서는 수행성, 자기성취감 및 지각된 장애 등 개인 특성을 포함하는 포괄적인 교육 프로그램을 개발하여 적용할 필요가 있다.
