  • New ways of work-shift and learning programs, which were based on the concept of 'performance improvement through people', have been introduced to healthcare organizations. I analyzed the performance of the changes and the performance differences. Data were collected through interview and survey. I discussed that modification of management practices which were developed in manufacturing organizations is important for successful implementation in healthcare organizations.

  • 분산된 정보 및 컴퓨터 자원들에 대한 접근 요구가 증대됨에 따라 네트워크 상호 연결도구 또한 커지고 있다. 네트워크 성능관리 도구들을 포함한 많은 네트워크 관리 패키지들이 이미 개발되었지만 이종 네트워크 환경에서는 그다지 적합하지 않다. 이종 네트워크의 성능을 효율적으로 감시하고 제어하기 위해서는 우선적으로 모든 성능 매개 변수를 정의해야 한다. 그리고 관리 시스템의 성능 분석 행위를 지원하기 위해서는 성능 분석 모델과 성능 판단 기준도 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 OSI 관리 체계 에 기반을 둔 이종 네트워크 환경에서 사용할 수 있는 중앙 집중식 성능 관리 시스템 을 설계하였다.

  • For the sustainable development, companies are making a lot of efforts such as activities of sales increase and cost reduction. Among these, efforts to use limited resources efficiently and effectively is still being made steadily. And many methods for management innovation are being introduced and used. However there were partial or temporary effects only. So there are not enough to achieve operations performance to cover the entire system. Therefore, in order to maximize performance or to improve sustainability across the companies, it is necessary to rebuild the existing system with process perspective not with existing functional perspective. This study was performed to achieve the objective that is operation performance improvement of certification body. So literature review was researched and analyed about the process innovation and the process approach. And basic model which is compatible with ISO/IEC 17021 requirement for the certification body was established in this study. Based on this model, one of the certification body was selected and operation system for this organization was established, documented and implemented through the process approach method. In the result, operations performance of certification body on the side of efficiency and effectiveness is analyzed and the effect of reconstruction of system on operations performance was figured out

  • In a very competitive construction business environment there is a need to measure and manage business performance across a wider spectrum of business success criteria. The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) and Triple Bottom Line (TBL) reporting concepts are emerging as champions in the race for sustainable business success. The construction business organisations are often judged based on their financial performance as well as wider performance. This paper aims at developing a universally accepted tool for assessing contractors' wider business performance in the construction industry. A prototype of web-based business performance measurement system has been developed to help contractors assess their own performance aimed at uplifting their performance. The consultants/clients can also use the tool to measure contractors' performance in a value-based contractor selection. The system was developed based on the research conducted among 63 senior construction professionals and therefore further research with the participation of a large number of managers across different countries and also an upgrade of the system will be required.

ERP시스템 구축단계 별 주요성공요인에 관한 실증적 연구 (An Empirical Study on Critical Success Factors in Implementing ERP System)

  • The purpose of this stuffy is to derive critical success factors for ERP system implementation by integrating managerial, technical. human resource and organizational culture factors welch have been proposed as influencing factors for the performance of ERP system implementation in previous studios. Especially, this stuffy divides ERP system implementation process into preparation stave, implement stage and settle-down and stabilization stave, and then derives critical success factors in each stage. The data for empirical analysis of the research model are collected from 64 companies and the respondents for questionnaire consist of ERP system implementation project managers and user department managers in companies which have already operated it after ERP system installation. The main results of this study are as follows. First, it derives 27 success factors through comprehensive review of various factors which may affect ERP system implementation performance, and categorizes them into one of three stapes preparation stave, implement stage, and settle-down and stabilization stage. Second, the relationship between many success factors at each stave (preparation stave, implement stage, and settle-down and stabilization stave) and performance variables is tested. As a result, the significant correlations between many success factors at each stage and ERP system implementation performance are found, and the difference among success factors in the degree of influencing the system performance is significantly shown. finally, the relationship between process-oriented performance variables and result-oriented performance ones is tested. As a result, it is found that there is significant correlation between process-oriented performance variables except for one variable-project resource management appropriateness - and result-oriented performance ones. The theoretical contribution of this study is to derive a comprehensive model of critical success factors for implementing ERP system project from the system deve1opment life cycle perspective, and empirically test it through field survey with a wide range of data collection. And, the practical implication of this study is to present the desirable guidelines for performing ERP system implementation project successfully.

IS프로젝트에서 PMS 품질이 성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Impact of the PMS Quality on Performance in Information Systems Project)

  • Recently because the IS development project is large scale and complicated, the necessity of tools that can manage effectively smooth communications and the harmonized project between the interested parties is exposed. According to this fact, many companies are investing enough to the PMS (Project Management System) for the sake of the systematic management of the IS development project, and also this PMS is emerging as one of the indispensable tools for the successful IS development project by casting off from a auxiliary means for the past project management. However, as had been expected, whether the introduction of the PMS is possible to facilitate communications within a project team, and a main motivation that can derive individual performance and organizational performance that participated in the IS development project is induced or not are not verified still empirically and apparently. With respect to this, a survey was conducted to examine how PMS quality affected user satisfaction, communication, individual performance and project performance. The effects of the data gathered were verified by structural equation model analysis.

BCMS의 위험평가가 경영성과에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of BCMS Risk Assessment on Business Performance)

  • 연구목적: 공급체인관리에서 다룬 선행연구를 기반으로 요인을 분석하여 비즈니스 연속성 관리시스템(BCMS)의 위험평가와 위험관리 요인이 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. BCMS의 위험요인을 도출하고 예측 불가능한 위험을 평가함으로써 체계적인 위험관리 방안을 구축함과 동시에 기업이 업무중단 없이 경쟁우위를 선점하도록 기여하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 연구방법: BCMS의 위험평가, 위험관리, 경영성과의 구조적 관계를 도출하였다. 이를 위해서 124명의 우리나라 기업에 종사하는 책임자, 관리자를 상대로 설문을 조사하였다. 빈도분석, 타당성분석, 신뢰성분석, 상관분석, 단순회귀분석을 하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 위험평가는 위험관리에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 위험관리는 경영성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 마지막으로 위험평가는 경영성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 결론: 기업의 경영성과는 BCMS의 위험평가와 위험관리 역량은 재무적 성과를 통해서 관리하고 위험관리 활동은 비재무적 성과를 통해서 관리해야할 것이다.

K증권 홈트레이닝 시스템 분석을 통한 성능개선에 관한 연구 (A study for performance improvement by system analysis of HTS running K Securities)

  • Computer system performance has always had the possibility of affecting business profitability, but with the advent of the World Wide Web where customers interact directly with Web servers, response time can have a direct and dramatic impact on business revenue. This paper is written in the operation environment and system analysis of HTS(Home Trading System) running K Securities. This paper also shows the method for performance improvement through investigation and analysis for the overall systems resources whether HTS has an appropriate performance or not. Performance analysis includes specially CPU analysis, Memory analysis, Disk Input/Output analysis and application analysis. Besides providing more detailed server specification for expansion from now on, system performance can be maintained with effect in the future. Through this study it is possible to manage the performance of HTS more easily and to solve problems such as a bottleneck more quickly.

  • 우리나라는 현행 시설물의 유지관리 체계를 넘어 자산관리 체계 도입을 위한 노력을 기울이고 있다. 공공시설물 자산관리의 발전도는 특정 국가를 제외하고 초기수준이며 성공적인 정착을 위해 현재의 상황을 파악하고 미래에 대한 목표를 설정하는 일련의 성과측정 및 평가가 이루어져야 한다. 호주와 미국을 비롯한 선진국의 경우 다양한 방법과 목적을 가지고 자산관리 성과측정이 이루어지고 있다. 국내의 경우 한국건설기술연구원에서 진행 중인 '공공시설물 자산관리 체계 개발(KTAM-40)' 연구에서 자산관리 성과측정을 위한 평가항목을 제시하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 효과적인 성과측정을 위하여, 주요사항에 대한 누락이 없으며 활용성 측면에서 효과적인 자산관리 성과지표를 BSC, AHP 기법 등을 활용하여 개발하고, 성과지표를 활용한 성과측정 방법을 제안하였다.

스마트팩토리의 에너지관리시스템 수용확산요인이 구성원의 혁신저항 및 업무성과에 미치는 영향 (Influence of smart factor's implementing energy management system on innovation resistance and performance)

  • 본 연구에서는 스마트팩토리의 에너지관리스템 수용확산요인이 구성원의 혁신저항 및 업무성과에 미치는 영향에 대해 연구하였다. 이에 수도권 지역 에너지관리시스템을 구축한 기업 구성원 211명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하고, 구조방정식 모형분석 및 기타 부가적인 분석방법을 이용하여 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 먼저 에너지관리시스템 수용확산요인에 관한 지각이 높을수록 혁신저항에는 부(-)적 영향을, 업무성과에는 정(+)적 영향을 미쳤으며, 혁신저항은 업무성과에 부(-)적 영향을 미침과 동시에, 수용확산요인과 업무성과 사이에서 부분매개효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 에너지관리시스템 수용확산요인을 통한 도입성과를 높이기 위해서는 사용자의 혁신저항을 줄이기 위한 조직차원적 관리전략의 뒷받침이 중요함을 알 수 있었다. 결국, 본 연구를 통해 제조기업 생산프로세스의 효율성 및 경영성과를 긍정적으로 이끌기 위한 함의를 얻을 수 있었으며, 앞으로 연구범위의 확장과 에너지관리시스템의 특성을 고려한 후속연구가 필요하다고 판단된다.
