소비자의 온라인 패션몰 아바타에 대한 커뮤니케이션 신뢰가 아바타에 대한 성과기대 및 재사용의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Consumers' Trust in Communication with Online Fashion Mall Avatars on Performance Expectancy and Re-use Intentions)

  • This study investigates the effect of consumers' trust in communication with online fashion mall avatars on performance expectancy and re-use intention. For the empirical study, 207 adults were surveyed using a 5-point Likert scale, and the results were analyzed with SPSS 21.0. The analysis reveals the following results. First, the factor analysis of trust in communication with the avatar, performance expectancy, and re-use intention revealed cognitive and affective trust as subfactors of the trust in communication with the avatar, while purchase choice expectations and performance expectancy were identified as subfactors of performance expectancy for the avatar. A total of five factors, including re-use intention, were recognized. Second, the trust in communication with online fashion mall avatars significantly positively affected performance expectancy for the avatar. Among the subfactors, cognitive trust was determined to have a greater influence on purchase choice expectations than affective trust. Third, the performance expectancy for the online fashion mall avatar significantly positively affected re-use intention. Notably, the subfactor performance expectancy had a greater influence than purchase choice expectations. Finally, trust in communication with online fashion mall avatars significantly positively affected re-use intention. Accordingly, the sub-factor cognitive trust had a greater influence on re-use intention than affective trust. The results of this study are academically significant in that they empirically test the influence relationship between trust in communication, performance expectancy, and re-use intention, considering the personal characteristics of online fashion mall avatars on consumers using the Meta-UTAUT model in the fashion field.

Performance Expectancy and Effort Expectancy in Omnichannel Retailing

  • Purpose: While previous studies mainly focus on one shopping expectancy in the context of e-commerce or m-commerce, this study examines the relationship between consumers' performance and effort expectancy and their shopping intentions in the omnichannel retail environment in which both online and offline shopping channels are utilized concurrently in a single shopping journey. Research design, data and methodology: This study measured consumers' performance expectancy, effort expectancy, attitudes, and intentions toward an omnichannel shopping service. A survey was developed using an online survey platform and distributed to U.S. consumers for a 3-week period and 470 usable responses were obtained. The Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling were performed to test the reliability and validity of the measurement model and research model portraying the hypothesized relationships among constructs. Results: The results confirm that both performance and effort expectancy from shopping affected consumers' attitudes toward omnichannel shopping. The positive attitudes increased their omnichannel shopping intentions. Conclusions: Retailers should promote omnichannel strategies as effective shopping tools to improve consumers' shopping experiences and outcomes. This study suggests that retailers should implement omnichannel strategies that synchronize the retail channels they offer and promote the strategies as effective means to enhance customers' shopping outcomes and experiences.

인터넷 전문은행 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구 (A Study of Factors Influencing on the Intention to Use Internet Primary Bank)

  • 본 연구는 UTAUT 모형을 활용하여 인터넷 전문은행의 사용 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 성과기대, 노력 기대, 사회적 영향, 채널 신뢰, 전문은행 신뢰를 독립 변수로 하고, 사용 의도를 종속 변수로 설정하여 연구 모델을 제시하였다. 인터넷 전문은행 미경험자인 145명의 대학생을 대상으로 실증 분석한 결과, 성과 기대, 사회적 영향, 채널 신뢰는 사용 의도에 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 성과 기대가 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 노력 기대와 전문은행 신뢰는 영향이 없는 것으로 나타났다.

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the acceptance intention towards healthcare wearable device in Korea. Specifically, this study attempted to identify the relationships among the acceptance intention towards healthcare wearable device, technical characteristics and user's personal characteristic based on UTAUT(Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) model. Design/methodology/approach For this purpose of research, we conducted against consumers who use the wearable devices and we collected data from 219 wearable device users. The analyses were conducted using SPSS and AMOS19.0 which is powerful structural equation modeling (SEM) software. Findings The main findings are as followed; First, functional diversity, wearability, trend sensitivity and health perception are significantly related to performance expectancy, while visual aesthetic and enjoyment are not significantly related. Second, performance expectancy and effort expectancy are significantly related to acceptance intention towards healthcare wearable device. Third, effort expectancy is significantly related to performance expectancy.

  • This paper is to analyze consumer's acceptance phase of innovative IT product on the ground of dividing into product and application phase. In the acceptance phase of product determinants to consumer's satisfaction were analyzed and TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) were applied to the acceptance phase of application. It is analyzed that how well expected usefulness and perceived satisfaction to product have positively influence its performance and perceived satisfaction respectively in the acceptance phase of the product. In the acceptance phase of application, factors to consumers' satisfaction were analyzed to investigate its influence to the usefulness of application. Usefulness expectancy to the application and product were analyzed to figure out consumers'intention to use the product and effort and cost going into application use were also analyzed. Empirical study was implemented aimed at smart phone users. As a result, perceived usefulness expectancy to product have positively influence on perceived product performance and perceived product performance also affects perceived product satisfaction significantly. Although product satisfaction doesn't affect usefulness expectancy to the application, usefulness expectancy to the product and perceived product performance have positively influence on usefulness expectancy to the application significantly. And also usefulness expectancy to the both of application and product have positively influence on consumer's intention to use the product but consumer's effort and cost going into application doesn't affect to it, it's hold forth the possibility that consumer's effort affect consumer's intention to use the product.

가상 피팅 서비스 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구 - UTAUT2를 중심으로 - (Understanding factors influencing usage intention of virtual fitting services - An application of the UTAUT2 model -)

  • This study utilized the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology 2 (UTAUT2) to examine usage intentions associated with virtual fitting services. Six independent variables were examined: performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, and habit. The study collected responses from 445 participants who had utilized virtual fitting services. Regarding factors related to usage intentions associated with these services, performance expectancy and social influence were found to significantly influence the usage intentions associated with photo-based virtual fitting services. Furthermore, performance expectancy, social influence, and habit significantly influenced the usage intention of avatar-based virtual fitting services. This suggests that higher levels of performance expectancy and social influence positively impact the usage intentions associated with both types of virtual fitting services, while habit influences only avatar-based virtual fitting services. Moreover, the findings confirm that effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, and hedonic motivation from UTAUT2 do not significantly influence usage intentions associated with virtual fitting services. By analyzing factors influencing potential customers' virtual fitting service usage intentions, this study can suggest effective strategies to increase usage intentions for companies providing virtual fitting services. Additionally, these findings can be utilized in the formulation of virtual fitting service marketing strategies.

주택구매 후 주거만족도 분석 - 정보탐색과 기대불일치를 중심으로 - (An Analysis of the Residential Satisfaction after Purchasing House Influenced by Information Search and Expectancy Nonconformity)

  • This paper is made an analysis as to how much influence is affected to the residential satisfaction by information search and expectancy conformity/nonconformity. The above mentioned analysis results in that information search and expectancy conformity/nonconformity appear to be influential factors to explain the residential satisfaction after purchase. Especially, the more the expectancy of pre-purchase and the performance of post-purchase equal, the higher the residential satisfaction. In addition, even if a slight difference emerges in the domain of the residential satisfaction, it appears that the more information search is conducted, the higher the residential satisfaction and information from salesman or reference group affect on the expectancy conformity/nonconformity. When purchasing housing, to search more information shows that the expectancy of pre-purchase gets close to the performance of the post-purchase, that is to say, to the positive residential satisfaction.

A Study on the Effect of Individual Characteristics on Acceptance Intention of Wearable Healthcare Devices: Focusing on the UTAUT2 and Innovativeness

  • 본 연구는 웨어러블 헬스케어 기기 사용자들의 수용의도를 보다 효과적으로 설명하기 위하여, 개인 혁신성에 따른 수용의도를 살펴보고 이를 확장된 통합기술수용모형(UTAUT2, Extended UTAUT) 이론에 적용하여 실증분석을 실시하고 그 결과에 따른 학술적·실무적 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 제안된 가설들을 검증하기 위해 PLS 3.0을 사용하여 구조모형을 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같이 요약될 수 있다. 첫째, 개인 혁신성이 웨어러블 헬스케어 기기의 성과기대와 노력 기대, 촉진조건, 쾌락적 동기, 가격 효용성에 매우 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 해당 기기를 수용하고자 하는 태도에 성과기대, 노력기대, 쾌락적 동기, 가격 효용성이 웨어러블 헬스케어 기기를 수용하고자 하는 태도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 본 연구는 UTAUT이론을 바탕으로 정보통신 기술수용연구에서 상대적으로 간과되어왔던 다양한 제품특성(제품기능성, 디자인, 사용편의성)이 기능적 동기(노력기대, 성과기대)와 쾌락적 동기(인지된 즐거움)에 미치는 영향과 사용동기가 스마트 디바이스 사용의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 규명하고자 진행되었다. 서울을 포함하여 5대광역시의 스마트 디바이스 사용자 800명을 비례할당방식으로 조사한 결과, 기능적 동기(노력기대, 성과기대)와 쾌락적 동기(인지된 즐거움)는 스마트 디바이스 사용의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 스마트 디바이스의 디자인은 인지된 즐거움에, 사용용이성은 노력기대와 성과기대에 각각 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 제품기능성은 노력기대와 성과기대에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다.

웨어러블 헬스케어 기기의 수용에 관한 연구: 확장된 통합기술수용모형과 혁신저항모형의 통합적 접근 (A Study on Wearable Healthcare Device Adoption : An Integrated Approach of UTAUT2 and MIR)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to explain users' wearable healthcare device adoption using performance expectancy, effort expectancy, the hedonic motivation and price value of UTAUT2, and to identify the causal relationship between intention to use wearable healthcare device and innovation resistance formed by perceived risks. Design/methodology/approach The research model proposed in this study is based on UTAUT2(Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) and MIR(Model of Innovation Resistance). In specific, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, hedonic motivation and price value of UTAUT2 and innovation resistance formed by perceived risks of MIR are adopted in our research model. To validate the research model, we carry out the analysis of the survey data using Smart PLS 3.0 to test the hypotheses. Findings According to the empirical analysis results, this study confirms that the performance expectancy, effort expectancy, hedonic motivation, and price value have significant effects on the intention to use wearable healthcare devices. It also finds that perceived risk affects innovation resistance and in turn, innovation resistance affects the intention to use wearable healthcare devices.
