Information and communication technologies used in the social sphere are born due to the development of computer technologies. The main task of the distance learning process in higher education institutions is not to provide information, but to teach how to obtain and use it. The purpose of the article: to identify innovative approaches in the training of specialists in higher education institutions in the context of distance learning. Various innovative approaches to organizing the work of students of higher educational institutions in the context of distance learning are considered. Based on the conducted research, it is concluded that each of the approaches described by us outlines the study of the phenomenon of professional training of a specialist in the condition of distance learning. All the described approaches significantly contribute to the improvement of professional training of specialists, encourage students to self-improvement, professional development and enrich their professional competence in modern conditions. The emergence and spread of innovative technologies means not only a change in the activity itself and its inherent means and mechanisms of its implementation, but also a significant restructuring of goals, value orientations, specific knowledge, skills and abilities. Therefore, the current stage of the development of civilization, scientific and technological progress requires the emergence of such specialists who would have broad humanitarian thinking, would have good psychological training, would be able to build professional activities according to laws that take into account the relationship between economic productivity and creativity, as well as the desire of the individual for constant renewal, self-realization. Only such qualities will help you master the specifics of innovative technologies well. We see the prospects in the study of innovative approaches to training specialists in higher education institutions in the condition of distance learning in foreign countries.

This paper examines the interdisciplinary practice within design realms including urban planning, architecture, landscape architecture and interior design. It discusses the pedagogical approaches at design schools to foster designers capable of design challenge with interdisciplinary skills. As the complexity of contemporary multicultural society increasingly requires a higher level of expertise in professional service, no individual designer can be expert in all fragmented expertise across the whole design and associated engineering areas. A designer, therefore, should rely on the expertise of other practitioners in areas where he or she doesn't possess proficiency and educational background. From this sense the need of interdisciplinary approaches across diverse range of design and engineering through the collaboration is rising. Historically most of discussion made on interdisciplinary approaches is limited to collaboration between architecture and supporting engineering. This paper focuses on the collaboration with design realms. Three case studies done in an interdisciplinary firm are explored, focusing on design process that is non-linear and complementary. Finally the integrative pedagogical approaches to provide students with more exposure to allied disciplines are navigated with exemplary student work from interdisciplinary design studio.

As the International Maritime English Organization (IMO) model course for Maritime English has been recently revised and updated, the requirements of current changes to both the 2010 STCW Manila Amendments and English education have been actively reviewed. In order to provide practical guidelines for language teaching, a wide range of new pedagogical approaches and their theoretical backgrounds are also suggested. However, considering the current spread of Business English as a Lingua Franca (BELF) and its critical importance in maritime communication, the pedagogical approaches need to be re-evaluated, specifically in terms of teaching pronunciation in order to emphasize clear and effective communication among international interlocutors. Therefore, the core pedagogical elements of pronunciation should be clearly set and provided with consideration for Lingua Franca Core (LFC), which places importance on mutual intelligibility rather than following the rules of native speakers. In this paper, the current trends of BELF in the maritime industry will thus be introduced. Following this, the importance of LFC in maritime communication will be outlined, and its key features will be discussed in terms of effectiveness and clarity of international maritime communications. Finally, a close comparison between LFC and the pronunciation guidelines suggested by the IMO Maritime English model course 3.17 will be conducted, and pedagogical implications for future teaching pronunciation in cross-cultural global maritime industry will be suggested.

Article materials reflect the results of scientific research and generalization of experience concerning quality measurement of student's educational activities in the context of innovative development of the educational process, which is ensured by introducing educational innovations. The main point of monitoring of higher education students' activities and also phenomenon of education quality, particularly its results, are determined in the research. Guided by the scientific theory and personal experience of scientific and pedagogical activities, the attempt to single out the key components, important indicators and to introduce component indicator model of quality of higher education students' activities on the qualimetry base has been performed. Methodical solutions concerning the application of the developed model to determine the dynamics of pedagogical students' educational achievements by particular educational components in the process of innovative development of educational process are proposed. The advanced studies that relate to the development of methods for monitoring the quality of pedagogical higher education students' activities on the basis of systemic, competence and qualimetry approaches taking into account the levels of education and chosen specialties have been decided.

In this paper, we analyze what the components of mathematics teacher` knowledge are, and find that mathematics teacher need knowledge of three areas: subject matter knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, and pedagogical content knowledge. Studies of practicing teachers suggest that When teachers lack understanding in their respective disciplines, it inhibits them from providing students the best learning opportunities, but that a teacher possessing pedagogical content knowledge provides learners with multiple approaches into learning. Some teachers having sound knowledge of mathematics and students were able to respond appropriately to students' questions, design appropriate learning activities involving a variety of mathematical representations, and orchestrate mathematical discourse in the classroom. Thus, it appears that mathematics teachers' knowledge positively affect teaching and student learning..

Studying at a modern university involves using modern methods and the latest advances in science and education, which applies to Ukraine and all higher education institutions in Europe, determining the relevance of the study and its international significance. The study aims to analyze and implement effective and innovative practices that can be used in integrated educational programs, which include interactive work in education at the European level. The use of general scientific approaches, such as theoretical, statistical, and empirical, allows achieving the set goals. The central hypothesis of the research is the presentation of the best pedagogical practices in the educational program, which includes interactive and universal. The results of the study prove the effectiveness of interactive training. Future research is devoted to developing new pedagogical practices and the development of algorithms for their implementation.

The article discusses theoretical and methodological issues of modern pedagogical technologies: the essence, structure, functions, principles, conditions for successful functioning in educational process of the university. This paper presents an analytical model for the estimation of initial lateral stiffness of steel moment resisting frames with masonry infills. However, rather than focusing on the single bay-single storey substructure, the developed model attempts to estimate the global stiffness of multi-storey and multi-bay frames, using an assembly of equivalent springs and taking into account the shape of the lateral loading pattern. The contribution from each infilled frame panel is included as an individual spring, whose properties are determined on the basis of established diagonal strut macro-modeling approaches from the literature. The proposed model is evaluated parametrically against numerical results from frame analyses, with varying number of frame stories, infill openings, masonry thickness and modulus of elasticity. The performance of the model is evaluated and found quite satisfactory.

The article analyzes the main theoretical approaches to the formation of managerial competencies and establishes the degree of development of the problem. The content of the concept of "managerial competence" has been clarified, to determine the structure of managerial competencies of a future specialist in the education system and indicators of the formation of managerial competencies. The organizational and pedagogical conditions necessary for the effective process of forming the managerial competencies of future specialists are revealed. The following research methods were used in the work: theoretical (analysis of regulatory documents and scientific literature on the problem under study, comparison, generalization, modeling), empirical (diagnostics of the level of formation of managerial competencies of students of the system, questioning, observation, peer review, comparative qualitative and quantitative analysis of diagnostic results the level of formation of managerial competencies).
