The purpose of this study was to examine group differences in paternal behaviors (i.e., paternal connection, paternal punitiveness, and paternal knowledge) within and across three academic achievement levels-low, moderate, and high, and to explore the effects of paternal behaviors on the academic motivation of Chinese adolescents within these three achievement groups. Analyses of variance (ANOVAs) indicated that adolescents with low achievement perceived their fathers as more punitive than teens with moderate and high academic achievement. Regression analyses also revealed that paternal punitiveness (negative) and paternal knowledge (positive) were significant predictors of academic motivation for teens with low levels of academic achievement; while paternal punitiveness was a significant negative predictor of academic motivation among adolescents with moderate achievement. In contrast, for adolescents with high achievement, paternal connection was a positive significant predictor of academic motivation. The present findings provide some evidence that the impact of parental behaviors on teen's motivation varies across adolescent academic achievement levels, which may prove useful for professionals working with fathers to help target the most effective parenting behaviors to foster academic motivation.

Immediately after fertilization, a chromatin remodeling process in the oocyte cytoplasm extracts protamine molecules from the sperm-derived DNA and loads histones onto it. We examined how the histone H3-lysine 9 methylation system is established on the remodeled sperm chromatin in mice. We found that the paternal pronucleus was not stained for dimethylated H3-K9 (H3-$m_2K9$) during pronucleus development, while the maternal genome stained intensively. Such H3-$m_2K9$ asymmetry between the parental pronuclei was independent of $HP1{\beta}$ localization and, much like DNA methylation, was preserved to the two-cell stage when the nucleus appeared to be compartmentalized for H3-$m_2K9$. A conspicuous increase in H3-$m_2K9$ level was observed at the four-cell stage, and then the level was maintained without a visible change up to the blastocyst stage. The behavior of H3-$m_2K9$ was very similar, but not identical, to that of 5-methylcytosine during preimplantation development, suggesting that there is some connection between methylation of histone and of DNA in early mouse development.

The aim of this study was to explore the types of helicopter parenting among college students, and to examine how the identified types of helicopter parenting are associated with intimacy goals in dating. In order to investigate these purposes, 202 college students were recruited and analyzed. With the use of Mplus 7.4, a latent profile analysis identified latent profiles of helicopter parenting. Additionally, multivariate regression analysis was conducted in order to analyze the links between the types of helicopter parenting and intimacy goals in dating by using SPSS 26.0. The main findings of the study were as follows. Firstly, three helicopter parenting classes were identified: 1) strong decision-making, 2) strong helicopter parenting, 3) weak helicopter parenting. Secondly, college students in the strong helicopter parenting class reported significantly higher levels of intimacy goals in dating than those in the strong decision-making class. On the other hand, no significant connection was identified between the type of 'weak helicopter parenting' and the levels of intimacy goals in dating, referencing the type of 'strong helicopter parenting.' These results indicate that helicopter parenting has a certain number of types in nature, and the control-based parental behavior could have an impact on college students' intimacy goals in dating.

Picture book is the artistic format to develop forms an organic relationship with text and illustration. Not only meaning which the text and illustration deliver from the picture book but understand the symbolic meaning can discover new enjoyment of reading picture book. Sees the text and illustration of the picture book at one unit which is put in indivisible relationship and analyzing in semeiology provides the viewpoint which is important in picture book comprehension. The Greimas's theory of signification leads and understands the interaction of the text and illustration of world-famous author Anthony Browne's picture book 'Gorilla'. In addition, analysing the structural connection with text and visual expression it approaches the integrated meaning of a story from a new point of view. From the researches of existing interpreted the Hanna and relationship of dad was simple being lonely but this research sees which there exists not only paternal love but also heterosexuality between Hanna and dad and could newly be interpreted with the viewpoint where heal the discord is principal.
