It is getting difficult to manage water resources in South Korea because more than half of annual precipitation is concentrated in the summer season and its intensity is getting severe due to global warming and climate change. Artificial recharge schemes can be a useful method to manage water resources in Korea adapting to climate change. Patent analysis enables us to prevent overlapping investment and to find out unoccupied technology. In this study, international patent trends and barriers of artificial recharge technology are analysed for patents of Korea, Japan, the United States and Europe. The four artificial recharge methods such as well recharge, surface infiltration, bank filtration and underground structures are classified as main class and the nine sub-technologies such as water intake, water treatment, injection wells, monitoring of groundwater flow, groundwater pumping, surface infiltration/soil aquifer treatment, radial collection well, iron/manganese treatment, and underground subsurface dam are classified as intermediate class. Water intake techniques are subdivided into five classifications. Total 1,281 of patents, searched by WIPS DB tool and selected after removing noisy patents, are analyzed quantitatively to evaluate application trends by year, applicant, country for each classified technologies and analyzed qualitatively to find out occupied and unoccupied technologies. It is expected that upcoming research and development project could be performed efficiently in that an avoidance plan for the similar patents and differentiation plan for the advancing patents are set up based on the quantitative and qualitative analysis results from this research.

Since a declaration between North and South Korea was adopted, North and South Korea has strengthened the interchange and cooperation between each other in many fields. Especially, the interchange and cooperation in the field of industrial property right, such as patent and trademark, are required to keep up with the age of the knowledge industry. But, until a recent date, there has been little interchange or cooperation in the field of industrial property right, and a few major companies were attempt to apply for the patent in North Korea through the Third country The system of industrial property laws in North and South Korea are very different because of time and political ideology barriers. To unify the system of industrial property laws in North and South Korea, firstly, North and South Korea must try to recognize and understand the dissimilarity between them. In this article, I compared the system of industrial property law of South Korea with that of North Korea to search commonalities and dissimilarities. Furthermore, it is needed to establish systematic devices for understanding of between North and South Korea, for instance, conducting a interdisciplinary seminar or dispatching a judge mutually. Finally, it is necessary to phase in a practical plan for unification. In the short run, mutual application and registration have to be authorized, and in the long view, unifying the practice of industrial property law service is needed. At the conclusion, the industrial property laws in North and South Korea can be unified systematically. In other words , to unify system of industrial property laws in North and South Korea, it is prerequisite that mutual understanding of industrial property laws and performance of the unify plan. The interchange and cooperation in this field will not only promote technical development but also create common interests of North and South Korea by expanding an opportunity for creating and utilizing industrial property.

그동안 기업의 R&D 투자와 기술혁신 성과의 관계에 관해 여러 연구가 있었다. 하지만 지식생산과정에 수반되는 기업의 의사결정 과정은 효과적으로 분석에 반영되지 못하였다. 특히 기업의 특허성과를 분석함에 있어 포와송모형의 한계에 대응해 최근 연구는 음이항모형을 적용해 극복하고자 했지만 기업의 선택과정을 분석하는데는 한계가 있다. 본 논문은 특허권 정보에 내재된 기업체의 의사결정 과정을 보다 효과적으로 반영하는 실증모형을 제시하고, 사업체조사 결과를 적용해 분석하였다. 특히 기업의 대표적 R&D 성과인 특허에 주목하여 특허 출원건수의 결정과정을 살펴보았다. 분석 결과, 과산포의 존재를 확인할 수 있었고, 허들모형과 일반적인 음이항모형의 결과에 유의한 차이가 있음을 제시하였다. 더불어 Wald-검정을 통해 허들의 설정이 타당하였고, 기업의 특허성과 분석에 있어서 기업의 선택과정을 고려할 필요가 있음을 보였다.

오일 생산 과정에서 발생하는 부산물인 생산수(produced water)는 오일폐수(oily wastewater)의 대부분을 차지하기 때문에 환경적인 측면이나 자원적인 관점에서 볼 때, 생산수에서 오일성분을 추출 및 제거하는 기술은 매우 중요하다. 생산수 처리기술은 크게 물리적 방법과 생물학적 방법 그리고 화학적 방법으로 나눌 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 생산수의 오일제거 기술의 분류, 장단점 분석과 함께 연도별, 국가별, 출원인별, 세부기술별로 기술동향 특허분석을 하였다.

최근 몇 년 동안 언어 모델 기반의 생성형 인공지능 기술은 눈에 띄게 발전하고 있다. 특히, 요약, 코드 작성과 같은 다양한 분야에서 활용 가능성이 증가하고 있어 큰 관심을 받고 있다. 이러한 관심의 반영으로, 생성형 인공지능 관련 특허 출원이 급격히 증가하는 추세를 보인다. 이러한 동향을 파악하고 이에 따른 전략을 수립하기 위해 미래 예측이 핵심적이다. 예측을 통해 해당 기술 분야의 미래 동향을 정확히 파악하여 더 효과적인 전략을 수립할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 언어 모델 기반 생성형 인공지능 발전 방향을 확인하기 위해 현재까지 출원된 특허들을 분석하였다. 특히, 각 국가에서의 연구 및 발명 활동을 깊게 살펴보았으며, 연도별 및 세부 기술별 출원 동향을 중점적으로 분석하였다. 이러한 분석을 통해 핵심 특허들이 포함하고 있는 세부 기술을 이해하고, 향후 생성형 인공지능의 기술 개발 트렌드를 예측해 보고자 하였다.

본 연구는 혁신효율성이 기업의 기업성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 여기서 혁신효율성은 연구개발지출 또는 연구개발스톡에 대한 특허 출원수의 비율로 측정하였으며, 영업성과는 영업이익률과 영업현금흐름비율로 측정하였다. 2014년부터 2017년까지 한국거래소에 상장된 제조기업 1,880개(기업-연도)의 표본을 Hirshleifer et al(2013)의 분석 모형을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 혁신효율성과 영업이익률 간의 유의한 양(+)의 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 영업현금흐름비율로 측정한 성과 역시 혁신효율성과 유의한 양(+)의 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 연구개발투자 대비 더 많은 특허 출원을 달성한, 즉 혁신효율성이 높은 기업들이 더 높은 기업성과를 달성하는 것을 의미한다. 추가적으로 R&D 집약기업과 R&D 비집약기업으로 나누어 분석하였다. 분석결과, R&D 집약기업에서는 혁신효율성이 영업이익률과 영업현금흐름비율에 유의한 양(+)의 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, R&D 비집약기업에서는 혁신효율성이 영업현금흐름비율에 유의한 양(+)의 관련성이 나타났다. 또한 전체 표본의 특허 출원 수 평균보다 많은 산업과 적은 산업으로 구분하여 추가분석을 실시한 결과, 특허 출원 수가 많은 산업에서는 혁신효율성이 영업이익률과 영업현금흐름비율에 유의한 양(+)의 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특허 출원 수가 적은 산업에서는 혁신효율성이 영업이익률에 유의한 양(+)의 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 추가분석을 통해 기업의 R&D 집약도를 고려하고 산업별 특허 출원 수를 고려하여도 혁신효율성의 효과가 본 분석의 결과와 일관되게 나타나, 혁신효율성의 유용성이 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 공헌점은 각 기업의 연구개발투자의 혁신효율성을 고려하였다는 데에 있다. 또한 본 연구의 결과는 투자자들이 기업의 평가할 때 단순히 연구개발지출만을 고려할 것이 아니라, 혁신효율성도 고려해야 한다는 시사점을 제시하고 있다.

Technology opportunity discovery (TOD) based on technological capability is a process which identifies new product and technology items that can be developed by utilizing or improving a firm's existing products or technologies. By taking into consideration the investment risk of R&D and its practicality, developing technological capability-based TOD methodology is considered to be important for both business and research. To this end, we propose a technological capability-based TOD method and its system using TOD knowledge base. The method can support four types of TOD cases, which are based on a firm's existing technologies and products, and TOD knowledge base is developed by using function information extracted from patent documents. In this paper, we introduce the overall framework of the method and provide application examples on the four TOD cases using the prototype system.

수면장애는 대다수의 많은 사람들이 겪는 질환 중 하나이다. 많은 연구자들이 수면장애의 특징이나, 치료방법에 관한 연구들을 진행하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 수면장애에 관한 연구 동향을 살펴보기 위하여, 관련논문과 특허들을 조사하였다. 검색된 논문은 모두 316건이었으며, 특허는 모두 8건이었다. 연구는 의학계를 중심으로 점진적으로 증가하는 추세였으며, 한의학과 간호학에서도 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있었다. 그러나 특허는 연구동향에 비해 활발하지 않았다. 향후, 건강관련 협력자들의 네트워크 구축으로 다양한 연구방법론 개발 및 실용화 방안을 고려한 연구가 필요하다.

The purpose of this study is to present systematic information and direction to urban underground space development industry, civil engineering and R&D. Regarding the development of urban underground space, the situation in Korea, especially now in Seoul, can be called an underground Renaissance. The Superground project, which has been going on for several years through international competition, is now completed and is about to open the Seoul Architecture Museum. Leading underground space complex development project of Yeongdongdaero, which is the largest living underground space in human history, spectral projects such as the Seoul section of the GTX routes, making underground roads of the Dongbu Expressway and the Seobu Expressway are now speeding up progress. Recently, plans have been made to use the underground more actively through the restructuring project of Gwanghwamun Square, the face of Seoul. And then, patents are indispensable resources for establishing a strategy for R&D as one of the indices showing what technologies have been developed and what technology development will be done in the future. Based on this background, this study attempts to classify and define the technical elements of urban underground space development through the analysis of patents of major countries in the world, and analyze and present state of technology level and situation accordingly.

본 연구는 기업이 국제 특허 활동을 통해 자사 혁신의 해외 경쟁 우위와 현지 경쟁 기업들에 대한 지식을 습득하여 수출 성과를 높일 수 있지만 기업 규모와 연령에 따른 조직 학습의 비효율성 때문에 국제 특허 활동으로 인한 학습 효과는 기업 규모와 연령에 의해 약화될 수 있다는 가설들을 제시한다. 한국 제약 기업들을 대상으로 실증 분석한 결과 국제 특허 출원 집중도는 수출 집중도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 그리고 기업 규모와 연령이 증가할수록 국제 특허 출원 집중도와 수출 집중도 간의 정의 관계는 약화되었다. 실증 분석 결과는 기업의 해외 시장에 대한 지식 습득은 해외 시장에서의 직접적인 사업 운영 외에도 다양한 경로를 통해 이루어질 수 있으며 이러한 외부 지식 학습에 있어 중소기업 및 신생기업이 상대적인 강점을 지닐 수 있음을 시사한다.
