반능동형 현가시스템을 위한 연속가변댐퍼의 특성 해석 (Analysis of Continuously Variable Damper Characteristics for Semi-Active Suspension Systems)

  • Continuously variable damper can yield diverse damping forces for a single damping velocity. It is widely used in the semi-active suspension system since, with right control logics, it can enhance ride comfort compared to the passive damper while not degrading driving safety. A key to the successful design of the continuously variable damper is the knowledge of its complex and nonlinear characteristics. In this paper, research has been done for analyzing characteristics of the continuously variable damper. Various damper components have been investigated and their effects upon the force-velocity characteristics of the damper have been examined. The effects of the damper characteristics change upon ride comfort and driving safety have also been investigated by numerical simulations.

자동차 클러치에 대한 제어시스템의 설계 (Design of control system for for automobile clutch)

  • During driving an automobile, drivers push the clutch and transmit gear by their feeling. At the automobile which have the manually operated gear box by using apart designed equipment, for get the semi-auto function, a lot of research to realize the system which have passive transmission and automotive transmission has developed. In this paper, basically using one chip .mu.-comcontrolled the clutch of automobile by means of LPF, F/V converter and TR driver circuit which is designed. In the past, it was controlled the motor by operating relay which is int eh output system to control the clutch. This system some noises is made by on and off the relay, lessen the motor speed and causes many error due to consume the large power on driving the motor. In this paper, to solve these problems the output TR is operated by using one chip .mu.-com decrease the electic power consumption and designed the actuator to control the clutch by measns of vacuum.

  • Reduction of a ship's rolling is the most important performance requirement for improving the safety of the crew on board and preventing damage to cargos as well as improving the comfort of the ride. A mass driving anti-rolling system (MD-ARS) might be one candidate of several systems against the ship's rolling. In this paper, three types of MD-ARS, two passive and one active devices, are developed for small ships. After they are installed on the cabin of the small leisure boat, respectively, a series of test is conducted before and after operating them. Through the test, it is confirmed that the roll responses of the ship are pretty well reduced by the system.

  • This study is concerned with the hydraulic system for active suspension with a skyhook damper. The state variable equations of a sky-hook damper system are formulated forthe theoretical analysis, and the test rig of the syspension is constructed. The Simulation results show fair agreement with the experiment. It is found in the experiment that the suspension with the skyhook damper shows much better driving stability and ri ding comfort compared to that with the passive damper.

인식 거리 개선을 위한 차량용 태그 안테나의 지향성 설계 (Directivity Pattern Design of a Vehicle Tag Antenna for Improvement of the Readable Range)

  • 본 논문은 차량 번호판용 RFID 태그 안테나의 인식 거리를 향상시키기 위한 최적 지향성 설계에 대해서 기술하고 있다. 제안된 수동형 안테나의 지향성 패턴은 미앤더 선로의 위치와 태그 안테나가 부착되는 범퍼의 크기에 의해 결정된다. 계산된 지향성 패턴과 인식 거리의 타당성을 입증하기 위하여 태그 안테나를 제작하고 전파 암실에서 측정을 행하였다. 능동형과 수동형 안테나의 측정된 방사 패턴의 최대 지향성 이득은 각각 2.32 dBi와 3.1 dBi로 관측되었다. 수동형 태그 안테나의 최대 인식 거리는 차량 진행 방향(방위각 $0^{\circ}$)을 기준으로 ${\pm}45^{\circ}$의 빔 방향에서 약 8.5 m로 측정되었다.

대전입자형 디스플레이의 균등전계내 대전입자의 거동특성에 관한 연구 (A study on a moving characteristics of charged particle in uniform electric field of Charged Particle type Display)

  • 본 논문에서는 균일한 전계내의 대전입자의 운동특성에 대하여 연구하였다. 패널을 제작하기 위하여 양전하를 띠는 검은색 대전입자(토너)와 음전하를 띠는 노란색 대전입자(토너)를 사용하였으며, 패널구동을 위하여 오버슈트 현상이 없는 power supply로 구형펄스를 인가하였다. 또한 RT-200을 이용하여 광학특성(대조비, 시야각)을 측정하였으며, 레이저와 포토다이오드를 사용하여 응답속도를 측정하였다. 그리고 응답속도와 대조비를 통하여 대전입자의 m/q 분포를 확인하였다. 그 결과, 대전입자의 구동전압, 대조비, 응답속도는 m/g에 의해 결정되며, 패널내부에 주입된 대전입자의 m/q 분포가 동일할수록 구동특성이 향상되었다.

차량 시뮬레이터를 이용한 철도건널목 운전행태에 관한 연구 (A study on driver experience to railway crossings in driving simulator)

  • 최근 10여년 사이 컴퓨터의 성능 향상과 기술의 발전으로 현실에서 일어날 법한 여러 가지 상황들을 가상환경을 통해 선험 할 수 있게 되었다. 교통 분야에서도 가상환경을 활용하여 다양한 시나리오 하에서 운전자의 행태를 파악하는 연구들이 많이 수행되고 있다. 본 연구는 운전 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 철도 건널목 안전수행 평가를 위한 실험을 실시하였다. 세 종류의 ITS 안전장치들이 운전자에게 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 파악하였고, 실험에 참가한 운전자들에게 각 안전장치에 대한여러 가지 설문조사를 진행하였으며, 이에 대한 평가가 이 논문의 목적이다. 각 실험 참가자들은 각 20여 분간 3 번의 운행을 하게 되는데, 무작위 순서로 2번은 기존 철도 건널목을 건너고, 1번은 ITS 안전창치를 사용하면서 운행하였다. 실험 전, 참가자들은 기존 철도건널목이 안전하지 않아 보인다고 답하였고, 자신, 혹은 타인들이 출동사고를 일으킬 확률이 높을 것 같다고 응답하였다. 실험 후, ITS 안전장치를 이용하는데 어려움이 있는지에 대한 질문에는 ITS 3 (도로 발광 표지병)을 이용하였을 때, 가장 수월한 적응도를 보였다. 또한, ITS 안전장치는 3종 철도건널목에서 큰 효과를 나타낸다고 응답하였다.

도시형자기부상차량의 반능동 조향장치에 대한 연구 (Study for Semi-Steering system for Urban Maglev)

  • Urban maglev should have such characteristics as not only environmentally friendliness and excellent driving capability but also curve negotiation performance because its routes have many sharp curves. Due to normal mechanism of urban maglev its relative displacements of secondary spring are bigger than conventional railway vehicle and the centering force of levitation magnet is smaller than wheel-on-rail system. These features of maglev affect the curving negotiation and so the additional steering device is to be required on Urban maglev to improve the running performance at sharp curve of less than about R50m. Some developed urban maglev had the passive steering device which consists of mechanical linkage or hydraulic cylinder and closed-route piping. But it has drawback as complexity of layout of understructure of vehicle and functional limitation of passive mechanism regarding transient curve. These demerits could be solved by using active steering system. But it has a weak point that an active device should have actuators and additional inverter or hydraulic power source. In this paper, the semi-active steering system for urban maglev is to be introduced.

Secondary Side Output Voltage Stabilization of an IPT System by Tuning/Detuning through a Serial Tuned DC Voltage-controlled Variable Capacitor

  • This paper proposes a method to stabilize the output voltage of the secondary side of an Inductive Power Transfer (IPT) system through tuning/detuning via a serial tuned DC Voltage-controlled Variable Capacitor (DVVC). The equivalent capacitance of the DVVC changes with the conduction period of a diode in the DVVC controlled by DC voltage. The output voltage of an IPT system can be made constant when this DVVC is used as a variable resonant capacitor combined with a PI controller generating DC control voltage according to the fluctuations of the output voltage. Since a passive diode instead of an active switch is used in the DVVC, there are no active switch driving problems such as a separate voltage source or gate drivers, which makes the DVVC especially advantageous when used at the secondary side of an IPT system. Moreover, since the equivalent capacitance of the DVVC can be controlled smoothly with a DC voltage and the passive diode generates less EMI than active switches, the DVVC has the potential to be used at much higher frequencies than traditional switch mode capacitors.
