벨벳과 안감의 소재 조합에 따른 의복의 열저항에 관한 연구 (Thermal Properties on combination of Velvet and Lining)

  • This study was performed for purpose of getting fundamental information requisite to wear velvet clothes that is more comfortable for the human body and also the environment. It was carried out in a human wearing test and thermal manikin test at the same time in a controlled-condition chamber. The experimental environment had a ambient temperature of 15$\pm$0.5$^{\circ}C$ with the relative humidity at 5$^{\circ}C$$\pm$5% and with air velocity at less that than 0.2m/sec. Velvet differ from common plain weaves in thermal properties because it's constructed in two parts one is ground part and the other part is pile part. In order to investigate the thermal resistance of velvet eight different combination of 4 velvet kinds and 2 lings kinds as experimental clothes. [(4 velvet kinds : Acetate cuprammoium Rayon Cotton Wool) (2 lining kinds : acetate viscose rayon)longrightarrow8 combination: Aa, Av, Ra, Rv, Ca, Cv, Wa, Wv: the simplified character] The results of this study can be summarized as follows : 1. For the regional thermal resistance the differences in eight clothes as well as differences in each part were significant. As a whole the breast part showed the highest thermal resistance and the leg part was higher than the shank part. The rank of the total thermal resistance was put at Wa>Wv>Ca>Cv>Aa>Av>Ra>Rv in this order. 2. Considered clothing microclimate microclimate temperature has a similar tendency to the total thermal resistance. It showed a significance in the differences of eight clothes and each parts. the belly part was highest in every combination. On the other hand for clothing humidity there was a significance between back and breast part only in the human wearing test. 3. It was indicated that CLO value was highly positively correlated with the clothings' weight and showed a high negative correlation with the air permeability.

직장 남성들의 근무복 실태조사 연구(2) -근무복 착용도와 관리도를 중심으로- (A Research Study on Work-Man′s Uniform(2))

  • The work-man's Uniform should be coincident with the image of his firm and accounted of the function according s its purpose. We made questions to 404 workers at 8firm in our country through the questionnaire papers to know about a work-man's uniform and researched whether the satisfactory in wearing his uniform had relation with his type of business, grade, carrier, age, marriage, and monthly income. The results of this study is as follows; 1. In the case of wearing the uniform many workers answered they always wore their uniform in the firm. It was shown that the office workers wore their uniform much more than workers in the production department. The longer the time working, the older age, the lower grade of school career are, he more workers wear. the order of the importance for he uniform was the function, the symbol, the originality, and the fashion. The longer their career in the firm was, the more important the function of their uniform was. 2. The order of dirty pat in taking care of the uniform was cuffs, color, the front of part in an upper garment and below the knee, the hip in pants It was very easy for the workers in the experts, or administrators and office workers than others to be dirty in the cuffs part of the uniform. Worn part of the uniform showed highest cuffs in an upper garment and a zipper in pants. The order of cleaning the uniform was washing by water, no ironing, and cleaning in their house.

복식에 표현된 노출 (Exposure Expressed in Dress)

  • The primary purpose of this study is to inquire into the characteristic of exposure presented in fashion, identify the correct concept of exposure from an aesthetic perspective, and grasp the contemporary meaning of exposure presented in fashion. As a result of study, the following findings were obtained: First, the surrealist style of fashion exhibited representations such as the relocation of the partial details, the harmonization of the natural and the artificial, the emphasis or expansion of each part of the body, and the like. It used highlighted the genital region with ornamentations or used the technique of paradoxically exposing the part of the body always covered. And it exbibited the paradoxical relationship of exposure and concealment by exposing the concealed part of the human body. Second, the post-modern style showed the complicated phenomenon that the values of several meanings such as the historic, the folk, and the like appeared in its fashion. It shares in spatiotemporal eclecticism, pluralistic characteristics and the like found in the post-modern culture. Third, the deconstructive style gets rid of the distinction between the external space and the private space by translating underwears into outer garments. It destroys clothing by tearing or perforating clothing whereby it represents the poor image. Coupled with women‘s psychology of exposure and the new generation’s way of thinking indifferent to others‘ eyes, this fashion of deconstruction occupies the great current of fashion. Deconstructive fashion gets away with the rule of ‘having to wear clothing to suit TPO(Time, Place and Occasion), the traditional norm of wearing clothing.

중국(中國) 귀주성(貴州省) 묘족(苗族)의 복식에 관한 연구(I) - 검동남(黔東南)지역의 여성복식을 중심으로 - (A Study on Miao Traditional Costume of Guizhou Province in China (I) - Centering Around Women's Costume in Qiandongnan Autonomous Prefecture -)

  • The Miao nationality is one of China's major ethnic group. The Miao traditional costume, as an ideographic symbol of the Miao people, have preserved its unique characteristics up to the present time. Historically there were many old names given only for ciothings, still they have reflected the complexities of the ciothings of the Miao people. The southeast Guizhou (Qiandongnan) modal of dress and ornament are fashionable in countries in the valley of Qingshui River such as Taijiang, Kaili, Leishan, Jianhe, Huangping, Shibing, which are densely populated with the Miao nationality. Women's traditional wear for the most part consists of a short coat with straight sleeves and the left lapel of the collar overlaps the right one (In some areas, the right lapel overlaps the left one). For lower garments, they wear long or medium sized pleated skirts, broad waistbands and leggings. Their attire may be of the same style, but there exist marked regional differences and distinctive features in dress materials, workmanship, contents and variety of designs and colour matching, as evolved from tradition. Merely from the embroidering skill and the materials used, one can judge where the dress is made.

K 분할 기반 플래시 메모리 균등소거 방법론 (K Partition-Based Even Wear-Leveling Policy for Flash Memory)

  • 플래시 메모리의 활용성이 높은 특성으로 인해 모바일 기기와 유비쿼터스 관련 기기에 대한 적용이 확장되고 있다. 하지만, 이러한 경향은 플래시 메모리의 물리적 특성으로 인해 제한 받을 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 플래시 메모리 공간의 재활용을 위한 방법론을 제안하다. 이 방법론은 메모리 재활용에 필요한 비용과 재활용 성능을 동시에 최적화하는 것을 목표로 한다. 제안하는 방법론은 특정시간에 재사용되는 메모리 세그먼트를 선택할 때 대상이 되는 메모리 공간을 다수의 하부 공간으로 분할하여 탐색 비용을 최적화한다. 아울러, 자유 세그먼트의 선택이라는 측면에서 전체 메모리 공간의 균등한 소거를 위한 방법론 또한 논의한다. 제안된 방법론들은 기존의 방법론과 함께 실험을 통해 검증하였으며, 방법론의 수행을 위한 최적화된 시스템 구성을 실험을 통하여 밝혔다.

유한요소해석에 의한 코팅면의 브리넬 경도 평가: 제1보 - 타당성 연구 (Evaluation of Brinell Hardness of Coated Surface Using Finite Element Analysis: Part 1 - A Feasibility Study)

  • The friction surfaces of mechanical parts are heat-treated or coated with hard materials to minimize wear. Increasing the hardness is a very useful way to reduce abrasive wear. The general Brinell hardness test, which is widely used for metallic materials, is not suitable because it hardly shows any change in hardness when coated with thin films. In this study, we propose a basis for the application of the new Brinell hardness test method to the coated friction surface. An indentation analysis of the rigid sphere and elastic-perfectly plastic materials is performed using a commercial finite element analysis software. The results indicate that their loadto-diameter ratio is the same; the Brinell hardness test method can be applied even when the indenter diameter is on the micrometer scale. In the case of hard coating, it is difficult to calculate Brinell hardness using the diameter of the indentation, but the study revealed, for the first time, that it can be calculated using the depth of the indentation regardless of coating. The change in hardness owing to thin film coating over a wide load range implies that the hardness evaluation method is appropriate. Additional studies on various properties related to the substrate and coating material are required to apply the proposed method.

THINNED PIPE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM OF KOREAN NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS

  • Local wall thinning and integrity degradation caused by several mechanisms, such as flow accelerated corrosion (FAC), cavitation, flashing and/or liquid drop impingements, are a main concern in carbon steel piping systems of nuclear power plant in terms of safety and operability. Thinned pipe management program (TPMP) had been developed and optimized to reduce the possibility of unplanned shutdown and/or power reduction due to pipe failure caused by wall thinning in the secondary side piping system. This program also consists of several technical elements such as prediction of wear rate for each component, prioritization of components for inspection, thickness measurement, calculation of actual wear and wear rate for each component. Decision making is associated with replacement or continuous service for thinned pipe components. Establishment of long-term strategy based on diagnosis of plant condition regarding overall wall thinning is also essential part of the program. Prediction models of wall thinning caused by FAC had been established for 24 operating nuclear plants. Long term strategies to manage the thinned pipe component were prepared and applied to each unit, which was reflecting plant specific design, operation, and inspection history, so that the structural integrity of piping system can be maintained. An alternative integrity assessment criterion and a computer program for thinned piping items were developed for the first time in the world, which was directly applicable to the secondary piping system of nuclear power plant. The thinned pipe management program is applied to all domestic nuclear power plants as a standard procedure form so that it contributes to preventing an accident caused by FAC.

플래시 메모리 파일 시스템을 위한 가비지 콜렉터 설계 및 구현 (A garbage collector design and implementation for flash memory file system)

  • 최근 들어 많은 임베디드 기기들이 휴대성과 성능 향상을 위해 플래시 메모리를 저장 매제로 사용하고 있다. 플래시 메모리는 일반적인 디스크와는 다른 특성과 제약 조건으로 인해 파일 시스템 설계에 있어서 여러 가지가 고려되어야 하며, 디스크와 다르게 덮어쓰기가 불가능하다. 플래시 메모리 파일 시스템은 LFS(Log-structure File System)의 형태를 가지며, 따라서 가비지 콜렉터를 사용한다. 블록을 재사용하기 위해서는 가비지 콜렉터의 역할이 크며, 가비지 콜렉터는 파일 시스템의 성능에 직접적으로 영향을 주기 때문에 플래시 메모리의 특성을 고려하여 설계해야 한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 JFFS2(Journaling Flash File System II)의 가비지 콜렉터를 개선한 플래시 메모리 파일 시스템을 제시하고, 이를 임베디드 시스템 실험 보드에서 테스트하였다. 그 결과 기존의 파일 시스템에 비해 메모리 사용률을 감소시킬 수 있었으며, 이로 인한 플래시 메모리 수명 연장, 쓰기 평준화(wear-leveling) 개선 등의 성능 향상이 나타남을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 본 연구는 제4차 산업시대를 맞아 컴퓨팅 기술이 다양한 분야에서 응용되고 있는 만큼 기술과 디자인의 합목적성을 연구하는데서 시작되었다. 연구의 목적은 기술기반의 컴퓨팅 웨어러블 디바이스 디자인과 기술의 이해와 효용가치 및 미적가치를 융합하여 설계하는 것이다. 따라서 컴퓨팅 기술이 착용형으로 생산되기까지 그 과정의 이해와 소비자의 요구(needs)가 무엇인지 파악하는 것이 중요하다. 예로 웨어러블 컴퓨터(wearable computer) 중 HMD(Head Mounted Display)는 입는(착용) 컴퓨터로써 컴퓨터의 기본적인 입출력 장치를 사람의 체형에 맞게 만들어야하며 머리에 착용하는 디스플레이를 통해 보행 중에도 시야를 확보함과 동시에 컴퓨터 인터페이스를 사용할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 시계, 안경, 의복 등의 순서로 기술과 디자인의 합목적성을 파악하고 궁극적으로 사용자가 거부감 없이 신체의 일부처럼 착용하고 사용할 수 있으며, 인간의 능력을 보완하거나 배가시키는 것을 목표로 하는 웨어러블 컴퓨팅 디바이스의 디자인 제안을 한다. 웨어러블 컴퓨팅 디바이스는 시대에 따라 소비자의 호응도를 달리하지만 기술의 변화는 가속화하고 있다. 본 연구의 결과가 급변하는 시대에 맞추어 웨어러블 컴퓨팅 디바이스 디자인 연구의 초석이 되기를 기대한다.

Hertz 접촉 문제의 유한 요소 해석 (Finite Element Analysis of Hertzian Contact Problem)

  • Generally, Hertz theory is used to analyze the contact problem of two bodies. It is simple derivation of solution in the contact part. And calculation time is short Moreover, it can mean well that many wear occurs relatively. However, material property becomes plastic deformation when large perpendicular pressure acts on a small contact surface product. In this case, Hertz theory is inapplicable. Therefore this thesis carried the finite element analysis in consideration of material elasticitystrain and the shape of the geometric from contact point. And it compared with Hertz theory that change of the contact surface and contact pressure.
