개폐식 대공간 막 구조물에서 지붕 맞댐부 우수차단 시스템의 수밀성 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of Watertightness Properties for Rain-Block System in the Sliding-Roof Joint of Large-Span Membrane Structures)

  • 지붕 개폐형태의 대공간 막 구조물은 멀티미디어적인 요소 및 전천후 공간을 활용할 수 있지만, 다수의 연결 조인트에 의해 구조물이 형성되므로 누수에 취약한 문제점이 있다. 특히 개폐식 지붕 맞댐부위의 우수차단 시스템은 우수의 직접적인 유입을 차단하는 역할을 하고 있으므로 바람을 동반한 강우환경에서도 수밀성능이 요구된다. 따라서 상기의 환경 조건을 부여한 수밀성 실험을 통하여 우수차단 시스템의 디테일에 대한 수밀성능을 평가하고자 한다. 실험 결과, 모든 실험체에서 누수가 발생하였으며, 우수의 유입경로는 동일한 것으로 확인되었다. 특히, 바람에 의하여 물입자들이 구조물 내부로 들이치는 현상이 주원인이므로 이를 보완한 새로운 우수차단 시스템의 디테일이 요구된다. 이 연구를 통해 강우 환경과 바람 환경을 동시에 부여하였을 때 발생될 수 있는 우수 침입 경로를 확인하였으며, 수밀 성능 확보 유무가 사전에 검토되어 져야함을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 디테일을 사전에 작성하여 모형 수밀성 시험을 반드시 시행한 후 그 결과에 따라 설계 디테일의 변경, 개선, 보완시공을 하여야 할 것이다.

루이스 칸 건축에 나타나는 반접합(反接合)의 의미에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Meaning of Dis-joint in the Architecture of Louis Kahn)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the meaning of 'dis-joint' in the works of Louis I. Kahn. Kahn tried to realize his main architectural thoughts of 'what it wants to be' and 'how it was done' through his whole life. The concept of 'dis-joint' had been developed to visualize his architectural thoughts. Kahn used' dis-joint' to show and emphasize the structural system for the raison d'etre of building. Kahn's 'dis-joint' can be categorized as 'spacing', 'butt', 'slit' and 'protrusion'. Kahn used this kind of unusual way of joint beyond simple exposure to stress the existence of element, part and building itself. Through variable combination usage of 'dis-joint', Kahn can realize his architectural thoughts into building in a concrete way. The efficiency and function of joint is not the main issue in his works. 'Dis-joint' was the concrete tool to show the tectonic of architecture and construction process to enhance its presence. Therefore 'dis-joint' of Kahn's architecture is not a joint only to combine building parts but a concrete mean to realize his thoughts in a corporeal way. These facts insinuate that Kahn's architectural philosophy is based on the thoughts of tectonic and its realization.

  • This study is an Investigation on the Watertightness Properties of Rain-Block System on the Sliding-Roof Joint of Large-Span Membrane Structures. In this experimental, we test the watertightness performance of joint part of sliding door in roof of large span membrane structure(for pilot project) under environment of rain and wind. A shape of rain water blocking systems of joint part in sliding door verifies the defects and effects of water leakage prevention in precipitation with the wind conditions. For obtaining watertightness of large span membrane structures, it is necessary quality of joints and performance, and quality of membrane material of a retractable roof as well as a closed roof. Also, for obtaining quality in joints, it is essential to make a watertightness guideline for design of large-span membrane.

Damage Detection at Welded Joint of Two-Dimensional Plane Model

  • Damage detection algorithms based on a one-dimensional beam model can detect damage within a beam span caused by flexure only but cannot detect damage at a joint with prescribed boundary conditions or at the middle part of a beam section where the neutral axis is located. Considering the damage at a welded joint of beam elements in steel structures and modeling the damage with twodimensional plane elements, this study presents a new approach to detecting damage in the depth direction of the joint and beam section. Three damage scenarios at the upper, middle, and lower parts of a welded joint of a rectangular symmetric section are investigated. The damage is detected by evaluating the difference in the receptance magnitude between the undamaged and damaged states. This study also investigates the effect of measurement locations and noise on the capability of the method in detecting damage. The numerical results show the validity of the proposed method in detecting damage at the beam's welded joint.

  • The constant velocity joint(CVJ) used for transmitting torque to the front wheels is an important part in automotive drive system. There are several types of constant velocity joints. Typically, they are classified by fixed and plunging constant velocity joints. The axial force generated in plunging constant velocity joints influences significantly the noise, vibration and harshness. For heaps of time, many constant velocity joint markers have been studying and developing a valid method to reduce the axial force and extensive tests have been carried out on rigs. This paper presents the analysis method to predict the axial force of a double offset constant velocity joint(DOJ), a kind of plunging constant velocity joint, and the influence of ball-cage dimension tolerance on the axial force.

  • In this study, the joint part of non-welding composite pile is investigated by a three dimensional finite element analysis. Special attention is given to the overall stress distribution under lateral, axial and tensional load conditions. Through comparisons with allowable stress of materials, a simple method is proposed to estimate the ultimate load condition of joint part. The appropriate design method is suggested and highlighted through the numerical analysis.

  • 포장궤도는 토공구간, 교량구간, 터널구간, 분기기구간 등 모든 구간에서 유지보수를 절감할 목적으로 적용한다. 토공구간에 포장궤도를 적용할 경우, 내구성에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것은 시공이음매부로서 구조적인 문제는 없으나 슬래브의 불연속으로 인한 단차가 발생하여 장기적인 사용성에 영향을 미칠 가능성이 있다. 따라서 이에 대한 검토를 위하여 실물의 포장궤도를 제작하여 시공이음매부와 연속부에서 가속실험을 실시하였다. 가속실험에서는 각 재하하중별 변위와 토압에 대한 경향을 비교함으로써 시공이음매부에서의 취약도를 평가하고자 하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 추적 레이더시스템의 핵심부품인 L대역 로터리조인트의 설계를 다룬다. 로터리조인트는 추적 시스템 안테나 회전부에 장착되어 회전하는 안테나와 고정된 신호처리부를 연결하는 구성품으로 안테나의 회전시에도 꼬임이 없이 RF신호를 원활하게 전달하는 주요부품이다. 로터리조인트의 신호 삽입손실을 개선하기 위해, 유전체 종류, 급전분배링 형상 및 유전체 형상 등을 다양하게 수정하였다. 제안한 로터로조인트는 해외 도입품과 비교하여 향상된 성능을 확인하였다. 도입품 로터리조인트의 최대 삽입손실은 1.26dB이었으나, 본 논문에서 제안한 로터리조인트의 최대 삽입손실은 0.68dB로 도입품 대비 약 46%정도 개선되는 것을 확인하였다.

자동차 서스펜션용 볼 시트 사출성형품 개발 (Development of the Injection Molded Ball Seat for Automobile Suspension)

  • Injection molding process is one of the popular manufacturing methods to produce plastic parts with high efficiency and low cost. Ball seat for automobile suspension is made by an injection molding process as a part to support pivot function of ball joint consisted of ball stud and housing. It is necessary for a ball seat to have a dimensional stability in the three dimensional inner area to be contacted with ball stud. In this paper, the dimensional stability of inner surface is indirectly analyzed by checking the difference of inner diameter around the circumferential direction and the thickness variation at the top part of ball seat. Measurement was performed by using the coordinate measuring machine and the fixture to hold ball seat. Optimization of injection molding processes such as injection time, cooling time and temperatures of cylinder barrel was derived to reduce the difference of inner diameter and the thickness variation at the top part of ball seat based on the Taguchi method.
