최근 개인형 이동수단의 보급과 이용의 증가에 따라 보행환경은 더욱 열악해지고 있으며 이와 관련한 안전사고도 급증하고 있는 상황이다. 이에 본 연구는 개인형 이동수단의 보행장애 요소와 관련된 현황조사를 실시하여 이를 통한 문제점을 파악하고 전문가의 의견조사를 통해 개인형 이동수단의 규제를 포함한 교통약자의 보행환경 개선을 위한 방안을 다음과 같이 제시한다. 개인형 이동수단의 보행공간 내 이동을 원칙적으로 금지하여야 하며 주행이 불가피한 경우 제한속도를 규정함으로써 교통약자의 안전하고 편리한 보행권을 확보해주어야 할 것이다. 주차 공간은 차로부의 노외 주차구역이나 보도와 차로 경계부에 장애물 구역을 조성하여 해당 구역에만 하도록 해야 할 것이며 이를 지키지 않는 불법방치된 이동수단의 수거와 관련한 규제가 필요하다. 기존의 자동차 중심의 도로에서 저·중속 이동수단 이용을 고려한 도로 구조로의 전환이 필요하다.

Background : A continuous healthcare quality improvement is needed to provide high quality healthcare service as well as to maintain trust in terms of satisfying the needs of the patients. Recently it also became an essential issue. in hospital management, recognized for it's competitive potentiality among healthcare organization groups. This study was conducted to analyze patient complaints and issues received by the Quality Improvement Department. Its purpose is to improve healthcare qualities within the hospital, as well as establish policies and appropriate strategies in hospital management. Method : From July 1st to September 30th of the year 1999, we analyzed all complaints and issues made by various patients and their families, which were received through 24 hour phone consultation, numerous suggestion boxes, letters and E-mails, The issues were classified into 16 different categories based on a Patient Satisfaction Assessment Tool. All data were segregated according to the departmental frequencies and their contents. To come up with for environmental and patient satisfaction improvement, all complaints or issues were communicated with hospital administrators, medical and nursing staff and employees. Comprehensive customer satisfaction activities including improving phone etiquette were discussed in Customer Satisfaction Team, CQI Team and each Department. All opportunities for improvement were implemented. Feedback actions were discussed. Results : A total of 317 cases were collected. Issues regarding parking and other accommodation facilities were most common complaints that were 14.5% of total. Issues regarding admission rooms (10.7%), admission procedures (10.7%), waiting room environment (8.8%), nurses and nurse assistants (7.6%), physicians (6.6%) and others (23%) followed. Thirteen of 45 departments received more than 8 complaints. The Nursing Department had the most complaint, receiving 9.8% of total complaints. Complaints regarding the Nursing Department were predominantly related to the environment of patient rooms. The Department of Psychiatry for phone etiquette (4.7%), Department of Otolaryngology for the nursing staff's attitude and phone etiquette (4.4%), and the Admission Department followed. As a part of efforts to improve patient satisfaction, a new parking structure was built and reallocation of the parking space was done. Renovation of other accommodation facilities were carried out by hospital administration, Monthly phone call and answering attitude survey was done by QI Department. Based on this survey we made a phone etiquette manual and distributed throughout the hospital. Compare to the last year, Patient Satisfaction Index measured by Korea Productivity Center using National Customer Satisfaction Index was improved 7 points. According to our organization's own study, we confirmed the phone etiquette was improved 11% than last year. Conclusions : Issues related to parking and other accommodation facilities ranked first followed by complaints made regarding the patient care area, the admission and cashier process, and nurses' and doctors' attitude. The Nursing and Psychiatry Departments need improvement regarding phone etiquette. Results were shared and played a vital role in policymaking and strategic planning of the hospital. It is imperative that we keep our database updated by listening to and solving the needs of each patient. The CQI activities can be achieved only by full commitment of the hospital top management supported by related personal.

The deteriorated apartments make a social problem in now a days. After all a new alternative plan for deteriorated apartments such as the remodelling concept must be considered. This study aims to survey the needs levels among residents in deteriorated apartments relating to remodelling. It might provide the basic data which could be used for the analysis of consumers in the future implementation of deteriorated remodelling projects. The analytical methods applied for this study were t-test, one-way ANOVA, post-hoc estimation(Scheff test) by the SPSS 10.1 for Windows program. The analysis of the need levels for the areas of remodelling, by the family characteristic variable, residence value viewpoint, and residence satisfaction level, indicated that the demand level for ‘equipment ’was the highest, followed by the order of ‘structure’ and ‘interior’. The need levels for ‘security’, ‘parking lot’, ‘public facilities in apartment block’, and ‘landscape’ were generally low but in the group of high income, the need levels were comparatively high.

The disabled peoples increase in number by disasters from the industrialization and urbanization. The physically handicapped people experience many difficulties in using the facilities in the public buildings. So, this survey proposed the necessary conditions for the handicapped peoples to use without any trouble in public buildings. The objects of investigation were public buildings, village offices, a public library, synthesis hospitals banks, an express bus station, a wedding building, a railroad station etc.. Conclusions were as follow \circled1 The most of buildings were established access road in regulations but parking area was established inappropriately in regulations \circled2 The most of convenience facilities were concentrated on first floor but were established barely in more than second floor. \circled3 The most of convenient facilities were established in appropriately in regulations. \circled4 The other convenient facilities(reception desk, ticket agency, work desk etc.) were not established nearly in the buildings of investigation.

The purpose of this study is to provide the guideline of the interior design of Wedding halls, based on a series of investigations and analysis of the consumer's preference. Marriage is an essential ceremony of family life. However the Wedding culture has been changed since the western culture affected to traditional marriage concept. Many countries have different wedding culture and traditiov. Ours are largely divided into the traditional Korean wedding ceremony and the modern, i.e. the westerv. The customer's preference and the opinion for the Wedding hall analyzed through survey to find out the guideline for the interior desigv. The result of this research can be summarized as followings; 1) The interior design was the most influential element when choosing the wedding hall. 2) The preferred colors for the wedding hall were pink and white. 3) The preferred light fixture for the wedding hall was the chandelier. 4) The main points concerned in the guideline of interior design for the wedding hall were building facade, accessibility toward the wedding hall, parking lot, traffic circulation and etc.

This study derives problems of external space utilization site from on-site observation and questionnaire survey in order to suggest solutions for the problems. The main results are follows. First, fences as visual boundaries of apartment site play some negative roles - separation of space and heterogeneity of circumstance. This study suggests green fences to cure this problem. Second, residents want to change space use - ground to be used as green space or space for relaxation in stead of parking lots, elevator hall as social space, and underground as bike parks or health centers. Third, rooftop space, used as empty space or machine storage space, should be designed to be utilized as relaxation space by making easy to enter and exit.

This study analyzes the physical environments of studio-housing and suggests alternative solutions for the problems of studio-housing. Based on solving the problems of it through previous research review, the research methods are decided on-site survey and the housing floor plan analysis. The results of this study are follows. First, parking lots make passengers uncomfortable. Narrow spaces between buildings cause problems in terms of light, ventilation, and privacy. Moreover, the short of green space makes living conditions less amenable. Second, the narrow corridors of studio-housing buildings bring about bad effects on walking and privacy. The living conditions becomes worse due to the illegal remodeling. Third, even though a multi-family housing provision for low or middle-income families is a good housing policy, new design policies or interventions are needed to make residents' behavior comfortable.

As a demand for underground structure is increasing with more parking and retail spaces required. Various construction methods are reviewed and selected for each specific site for economical and fast construction. In this study, factors for selecting construction methods were categorized for substructure construction. Construction processes of substructure are consisted of methods for excavation, earth retaining systems, and placement of slabs. Factors for the selection of substructure construction method are the condition of surrounding, geotechnical, information and constraint by comfortness for others nearby. After survey for the construction data of 5 different sites, analysis about reliable substructure construction selection method was suggested.

High-rise apartments in Korea has physical, environmental, social, economical superannuation. But the remodeling of their apartments is focused on the physical improvement. So they remains the problems of community, safety, economy. Remodeling have to do is to attempt to synthesize the whole superannuation. So we select the B-maul apartments in 1st new towns has the typical problem(parking unsufficiency, small pyeong, ecology shortage etc) of high-rise apartment in the country and analysis its superannuation and remodeling plan. And verify the propriety of a remodeling plan to improve superannuation through an expert survey. Through the tasks, high-rise apartment remodeling in the country need to have a cure for the problem : lowing of the ceiling heights, a shortage of understanding among the residents, and insufficient improvement in the surroundings, no reuse-energy system.

The purpose of this study was to explore the demand of rheumatoid arthritic patients for medical facilities. The survey using open-ended question and interview was used to serve this purpose. Data was collected from 27 inpatients and outpatients of one university hospital in Seoul. The results were as follows ; The hospital facilities they wanted were categorized as space for patients & their family members (15 items), convenient facilities(14 items), facilities for their family members & visitors (4 items) and others (2 items). They mostly needed as following order ; shower room, parking place, supermarket, no charge of TV subscription fee and rest place. Also they especially wanted sports facilities & recreation room.
