일반위탁부모의 위탁유지 의사에 관한 탐색적 연구 : H위탁기관의 사례를 중심으로 (An Exploratory Study on Decisions among Foster Parents to Continue Foster Care : The Case of 'H' Foster Care Agency)

  • The purpose of the study was to explore what kind of intervention might help foster parents decide to continue engaging in foster care. As foster care services are still in the early stages of development, lacking systematic support systems as well as full understanding of the roles of foster parents and foster care agencies, it is important to recruit, select, and train as many foster parents as possible. Utilizing the Foster Parent Role Perception scale developed by Le Prohn, the author first conceptualized foster parent roles or foster care agency roles; then explored what kind of effects the resource level or the role perception of the foster parents have on the decisions to continue doing foster care. The results showed that the foster parents perceived 'supporting the internal system of the foster child' and 'supporting the external system of the foster child' as the roles of foster parents, whereas 'fortifying the foster care system' and 'maintaining liaison with birth parents' were the roles of foster care agencies. It was also found that foster parents' strong role perception, higher levels of satisfaction towards education on the part of foster parents, and the number of children from the previous marriage had statistically significant positive effects on the decisions to continue foster care. The author argues that clear definitions of roles are needed for both foster parents and foster care agencies. Finally, the role of foster care agencies needs to be strengthened and supported.

관악구 생활과학교실의 과학학습에서 나타난 부모의 역할 (The Roles of Parents in Science Learning at the Everyday Science Classroom in Gwanak-gu)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 관악구 생활과학교실의 과학학습에서 나타나는 부모의 역할을 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 생활과학교실에 참여한 부모와 아동 중 연구에 자발적으로 참여한 20쌍을 대상으로 총 75개의 수업을 녹음하였으며 이를 전사하여 분석하였다. 또한, 생활과학교실에 참여하는 모든 부모와 아동을 대상으로 사전, 사후 설문조사를 실시하여, 관악구 생활과학교실에 대한 의견을 알아보았다. 연구 결과, 부모는 학습안내자로서 아동의 학습을 안내하는 역할 뿐만 아니라 부모 자신이 학습자로서 참여한 것으로 나타났다. 학습안내자로서의 역할을 좀더 세부적으로 범주화하면 '실험 과정 안내자', '인지적 촉진자', '참여적 환경 조성자', '권위적 조절자'로 구별할 수 있었다. 학습자로서 부모의 역할은 '적극적 학습자', '상호 협력하는 동료 학습자', '권위적인 선도 학습자'로 좀더 세분화 될 수 있었다. 이러한 7개의 범주화된 부모의 역할들이 실제 수업에서는 어느 정도로 나타나고 있는지 분석한 결과, '실험 과정 안내자'가 34.5%로 가장 자주 나타났고, 뒤이어 '인지적 촉진자' (21.3%), '적극적인 학습자' (16.5%), '상호 협력하는 동료 학습자' (15.1%), '참여적 환경 조성자' (8.7%), '권위적인 선도 학습자' (2.7%), '권위적 조절자' (1.6%)의 순서로 나타났다. 본 연구는 관악구 생활과학교실의 과학학습에서 나타난 부모의 역할과 부모와 아동 사이의 상호작용에 대한 기본적인 정보를 제공하고 있다. 추후 프로그램의 개발에 부모의 참여가 미치는 긍정적인 측면은 강조한다면 생활과학교실을 통한 부모들과 아동들의 과학에 대한 이해를 더욱 촉진시킬 수 있을 것이다.

한국 청소년과 학부모의 성역할인지와 성교육요구에 관한 조사연구 (The Study of the Recognition of Sexual Roles and the Demand of Sexual Education by the Korean Junior Students and their Parents)

  • The study was attempted to survey the recognition of sexual roles and the demand of sexual education. The period was May 1st through June 15th, 1998 and the subjects were 377 junior students and 251 parents in Pusan. This study was based on questionnaire which focused on the Han and Lee's inquiry. The analysis of collected data was executed by using SPSS/PC+. The results were as follows : (1) The average point as to the 12 items of recognition of sexual roles regarding the occupational functions by the boys was 2.92 which was higher than that of the girls(1.85). The average point as to the 14 items of recognition of sexual roles regarding the attitudes by the boys was 2.91 which was higher than that of the girls(2.13). The average point as to the 14 items of recognition of sexual roles regarding the abilities by the boys was 2.93 which was higher than that of the girls(1.96). The point as to the item of androgyny among the demand of sexual education by the girls was 3.17 which is higher than that of the boys(2.93). (2) The parents showed the higher recognition toward androcentrism than the students and the parents showed the higher demand of the overall sexual education than the students. (3) 15.7% of the students was engaged in the masturbation. The students who answered that their parents had known the masturbation by their children were 16.9%. The 59 masturbaters consisted of the boys(91.5%) and the girls(8.5%), and that showed significant difference. (4) The opinions about the well-qualified teacher of sexual education by the subjects were studied as under: 16.7% of the parents supported the nurse-teacher, meanwhile 24.7% of the students supported the nurse-teacher.

남편이 은퇴한 부인의 역할수행과 결혼만족도 (Family Roles and marital Satisfaction of the Wives after Husbands' Retirement)

  • The present study examined the connections between the various roles performed by the wives and marital satisfaction after the husbands' retirement. Using data from 178 women in their late fifties living in Seoul the study has analyzed how the roles as wife mother of adult chidren and adult child's role towards aged parents affect women's marital satisfaction. While the level of involvement in household works and emotional support to their husbands were relatively high supporting role to aged parents were low. The level of marital satisfaction as moderately high. The degree of housework division and reduced income level after retiremnt were found to be associated with the marital satisfaction. On the other hand the roles of mother and adult child towards aged parents were not important. Overall the findings suggested the salience of marital roles in wive's marital satisfaction after husbands's retirement.

아동이 지각한 부모의 양육행동과 또래 괴롭힘에 관한 단기종단연구 : 아동의 성을 중심으로 (A Short-Term Longitudinal Study on Parental Bonding & Participant Roles in Bullying Situations : Focused on Children's Gender)

  • This study explored the differences in gender, developmental period and parents in terms of parenting, the cross-sectional and longitudinal relationships in parenting by gender, and the cross-sectional and longitudinal relationships between participant roles in bullying situations and parenting by gender. The subjects were 498 4-5th grade children and the instruments utilized in this study were the Parental Bonding Instrument (Bowers, Smith, & Binney, 1994) and the Participant Roles Scale (Sutton & Smith, 1999). The subjects were contacted again one year after the first contact. Results showed that the relationships between parents were longitudinally quite stable. Girls whose fathers had higher levels of accurate monitoring were more likely to be defenders cross-sectionally. Girls whose parents had more accurate monitoring were less likely to be victims longitudinally. The results underscore the importance of examining both gender and participant roles in bullying situations.

가정내 인성교육을 위한 부모 역할 지원 방안 탐색 (Policy Study on Parents Support for Character Education within Family)

  • This study focuses on the roles of family and parents as primary environments for character education of children and adolescents, examines surrounding micro and macro environments in a bioecological model, and explores parent support methods for restoring character education in family. For this study, we had interviews with 54 parents(44 mothers & 10 fathers). Through the interviews we found difficulties of character education in family and analyzed them in children and teenagers, parents, school, and social-cultural dimensions based on the bioecological model. On the basis of the parents' perception for these difficulties, we proposed how to support the roles of family and parents for recovering character education in family. The policy methods were propsed in family, school, and society dimensions. This study is meaningful in that it suggests evidence base for making the parent support policy.

부모역할, 자녀양육과 양육태도에 대한 대학생의 인식 (College Students' Perception of Parental Roles and Childrearing attitude)

  • In this study, 354 college students responded to questionnaires on parental roles, and their parents' and their own attitudes about childrearing. Data were analyzed by SPSS. Findings were that most college students perceived instrumental reasons for becoming a parent, and the parental role as consultant and provision of financial support. Most college students thought that mothers and fathers gave equal responsibility for raising children, that information on childrearing is to be found among friends and other adults, and that pre-parenthood education is important. They perceived their own parents to be satisfied with their parental roles, and they perceived both their patents and themselves to hold favorable attitudes about childrearing. Students' attitudes about childrearing correlated positively with their perceptions about their parents' childrearing attitudes.

중·고등학교 '기술·가정' 교과서 부모삽화에 나타난 성역할 연구 (A Study on the Gender Roles Featured in the Illustrations of the Parents in the Middle and High School 'Technology & Home Economics' Textbooks)

  • 본 연구는 실질적 양성평등을 실현하기 위한 학교교육의 역할과 성역할 사회화 과정에 주목하여, 중·고등학교의 '기술·가정' 교과서 '가정' 영역에 나타나는 삽화 속 아버지상과 어머니상을 분석하였다. 이에 2015 개정 중학교 '기술·가정 1'과 '기술·가정 2' 교과서와 고등학교 '기술·가정' 교과서, 총 36종의 '가정' 영역에 등장하는 부모삽화를 분석 대상으로 선정하였고, 삽화의 외형적 측면에서의 부모 성역할과 내용적 측면에서의 부모 성역할을 분석범주로 삼았다. 분석 결과를 종합해보면, 중·고등학교의 '기술·가정' 교과의 '기술·가정' 교과서 속 부모삽화는 양성평등한 성역할의 측면과 함께 특정 성에 편중된 성역할 고정관념을 가지고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구결과에서 나타난 것처럼, 전통적인 부모의 성역할에 있어서 어머니는 가사 일을 전담하고 아버지는 가정의 가장으로서 권위를 가지고 재화를 창출하는 경제활동의 중심에 놓는 양상이 여전히 남아있는 일부 삽화들의 경우, 전통적 성역할 고정관념을 심어줄 수 있다는 점에서 개선의 필요가 있다.

영재아 양육에 대한 어머니의 역할: 한국과학영재학교 사례를 중심으로 (Parent's Role in Rearing Gifted Children: Case of Mothers of Gifted Children in Korea Science Gifted Academy)

  • 본 연구에서는 영재아를 위한 어머니 역할을 알아보기 위하여 국내 외 선행연구를 종합하여 영재부모 양육 방식을 정리해서 분류해 보았다. 또한 이를 가지고 한국과학영재학교에 재학 중인 9명 학생들의 어머니들을 대상으로 자녀 양육 사례에 적용하여 한국적 맥락 안에서의 영재교육과 관련된 부모 역할 동향을 확인하고자 하였다. 연구 결과의 데이터는 사전에 준비한 질문과 질적 데이터 수집에 사용되는 반구조화된 인터뷰 방식으로 수집하였다. 먼저 선행 연구 고찰을 통해서 영재 부모의 다양한 역할을 크게 교육자, 후원자, 대화자, 훈육자로서의 부모로 분류하는 틀을 개발 하였다. 이를 가지고 인터뷰를 분석한 결과, 인터뷰 대상자들의 역할은 선행연구에서 제시된 영재 부모 역할이 거의 유사하게 나타나고 있었다. 다만 사례 분석 결과 우리나라의 영재교육에서는 특별히 어머니가 자녀의 인적 네트워크 형성에 직접적으로 관여하고 있는 경우와 학령기 전에 문자 습득의 과정이 부모의 영향뿐만 아니라 가정에서 형제자매를 통해서 자연스럽게 이루어지도록 조절해 주는 부모 역할이 두드러지게 나타나고 있음을 발견할 수 있었다.

학교공동체 구성원의 역할 탐색을 위한 조사연구 (A Survey Study on the Roles of School Community Members)

  • Each roles of school community members as principals, assistant principals, head teachers, teachers, parents of pupils, and persons of regional society by questionnaire method. The opinions of 805 subjects of school members in Pusan city by stratified random sampling are analyzed. The results of analysis are as follows : The major roles of principals in school community are considered as (1) converging various schools members' opinions and reflecting them to school management (2) setting manifest educational goals of school and projecting visions of school development in the future (3) managing efficient, rational school. The major roles of assistant principals in school community are defined as (1) mediating and co-ordinating relation between principal and teachers (2) combing and harmonizing school members (3) dividing and co-ordinating school members' roles. The major roles of head teachers are defined as (1) driving departmental services and acting teaches' professional competency (2) mediating relation between school managers and teachers (3) converging teachers' opinions, delivering and reflecting them to the school managers. The major roles of teachers are defined as (1) supporting pupils' growth (2) completing teaching-learning activities (3) devoting pupul discipline. The major roles of pupils in school community are (1) believing schooling and teachers (2) self-initiative, positive learning activities (3) comprehending, caring, co-operating others. major roles of parents of pupils in school community are (1) believing schooling and teachers (2) The participating schooling (3) supporting schooling. The major roles of persons of regional community in school community are defined as (1) concerning and believing schooling (2) supporting and co-operating schooling (3) comprehending and loving schooling.
