  • The paper by Paik (1985) introduced a structural property of the designs which was related to the concordance matrix $NN^{t}$ of the design. This special property was termed Property-C. The designs which have Property-C need not calculation of the generalize inverse of C matrix for solution of reduced normal equation. Paik also mentioned that some block designs belong to Property-C. This paper show the Extended Group Divisible designs defined by Hinkelmann (1964) are included in Property-C.

  • In this paper, we define property ($C_k$) and show that Property ($C_k$) implies property ($C_{k+1}$). The converse does not hold. Moreover, we prove that property ($C_k$) implies the Banach-Saks property.

  • Objective: The objective of this paper is to review the interests and limitations of ergonomics regarding intellectual property. Background: There have been less interests in intellectual property among the ergonomics professionals. However, the importance of intellectual property is increasing as competitions in industry are getting fierce. Method: Literatures on the relations of intellectual property with ergonomics were examined, and the international patent classification system was studied. Results: No profound studies were found in the area of the relations of intellectual property with ergonomics. Ergonomics was not considered in patent classification. Conclusion: It is important to induce more interests regarding intellectual property to the community of ergonomics. Further studies are expected on the relations of intellectual property with ergonomics. Application: The results from this paper would be of help to inducing ergonomists to more interests in intellectual property.

  • In this paper, we introduce the notion of the compact range property and $weak^*$ Radon Nikodym property. We prove that the compact range property, weak Radon Nikodym property and $weak^*$ Radon Nikodym property in dual Banach space are all equivalent. Other related results and discussed.

  • In this paper we introduce and study the separable weak bounded approximation properties which is strictly stronger than the approximation property and but weaker than the bounded approximation property. It provides new sufficient conditions for the metric approximation property for a dual Banach space.
