  • This paper deals with Littlewood-Paley type estimates of the Besov spaces {{{{ { B}`_{p,q } ^{$\alpha$ } }}}} on the d-dimensional unit cube for 0< p,q<$\infty$ by two certain classes. These classes are including biorthogonal wavelet systems or dual multiscale systems but not necessarily obtained as the dilates or translates of certain fixed functions. The main assumptions are local supports of both classes, sufficient smoothness for one class, and sufficiently many vanishing moments for the other class. With these estimates, we characterize the Besov spaces by coefficient norms of decompositions with respect to biorthogonal wavelet systems on the cube.

  • Pile foundations have been widely used in civil engineering construction for many years. Structures subjected to large lateral loads usually have pile foundations as shallow foundations cannot sometimes support the moments on these structure. The purpose of this paper is to propose the p - multiplier factor (P$\sub$M/) based on the characteristics of behavior of laterally loaded group pile in homogeneous sand. For this, a series of model tests are performed and the composite analytical method proposed by author is used to the propose P$\sub$M/. Based on the model test results of the large number of laterally loaded group piles, p - multiplier factors for homogeneous sand are proposed by back analysis under various condition of soil density, spacing-to-diameter ratio of pile, number of pile, and spacing-to-diameter of pile. P - multiplier approach provides a simple but sufficient tool for characterizing the shadowing group effects of laterally loaded group pile.

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a 12-week combined exercise program on gait parameters in elderly women with osteoarthritis. Method: The subjects of this study were 11 elderly women (age: $67.09{\pm}2.47$, height: $157.35{\pm}4.30cm$, weight: $62.49{\pm}6.36kg$) with knee osteoarthritis. The combined exercise program of this study was divided into aerobic exercise and lower extremity strengthening exercises. The exercises were performed for 60 minutes per session, three times a week, for a total of 12 weeks. The maximum joint moments of the hip, knee, and ankle joints with walking were obtained with 8-3D cameras (MX-T20, Vicon, USA) and 2-force plate (AMTI OR6-7-400, AMTI, USA). SPSS Windows version 23.0 was used for statistical analysis. A paired t-test was used for pre-post comparison. An alpha level of .05 was utilized in all tests. Results: The maximum extension moment was significantly higher in the hip joint after P1 on the X axis. The maximum joint moment of P3 in extension was statistically significantly lower after intervention. On the Z axis, the maximum joint moment was significantly lower after the exercise intervention at P3. There was a statistically significant increase in the extension moment of the left and right knee joints in the X axis after exercise intervention. In the right ankle joint, P1 (plantar flexion moment) showed a statistically significant high moment after exercise intervention. Conclusion: These results suggest that combined exercise, including lower limb and aerobic exercise, may have a positive effect on mobility and walking moments in patients with osteoarthritis of the knee.

  • In this article, we present the Stancu generalization of (p, q)-$Sz{\acute{a}}sz$-Mirakyan Kantorovich type linear positive operators. Using Korovkin's result, approximation properties are investigated. First, we evaluate moments and direct results. By choosing p and q, the convergence rate have been estimated for better approximation. For the particular case ${\alpha}=0$, ${\beta}=0$ we obtain results for (p, q)-$Sz{\acute{a}}sz$-Mirakyan Kantorovich type operators.

  • This article concerns the forecasting in binomial AR(p) models which is proposed by Wei$\ss$ (2009b) for time series of binomial counts. Our method extends to binomial AR(p) models a recent result by Jung and Tremayne (2006) for integer-valued autoregressive model of second order, INAR(2), with simple Poisson innovations. Forecasts are produced by conditional median which gives 'coherent' forecasts, and we estimate the forecast distributions of future values of binomial AR(p) models by means of a Monte Carlo method allowing for parameter uncertainty. Model parameters are estimated by the method of moments and estimated standard errors are calculated by means of block of block bootstrap. The method is fitted to log data set used in Wei$\ss$ (2009b).

  • Alpha stable distribution is better for modeling impulsive noises than Gaussian distribution in signal processing. This class of process has no closed form of probability density function and finite second order moments. In general, Wiener filter theory is not meaningful in S$\alpha$SG environments because the expectations may be unbounded. We proposed a new adaptive recursive least p-norm Kalman filtering algorithm based on least p-norm of innovation process with infinite variances, and a new robust multiuser detection method based on least p-norm Kalman filtering. The simulation experiments show that the proposed new algorithm is more robust than the conventional Kalman filtering multiuser detection algorithm.

  • Master formulas for overlap integrals and the dipole moments involving |4p > atomic orbitals have been derived by the expansion method for spherical harmonics. The radial integrals for the hyperfine interaction have also been derived for |4p > atomic orbitals. The calculated values of the overlap integrals and dipole moment matrix elements by the expansion method for spherical harmonics for a hypothetical NO molecule are exactly in agreement with those of Mulliken's method. The radial integrals for the hyperfine interaction may be used to calculate the chemical shift for |4p > atomic orbitals.

  • This study is for providing fundamental data of sport biomechanics in GRF & plantar pressure of stepping foot of skilled & unskilled players' at the soccer instep shooting moments. Wearing Pedar-x of Novel, the study has drawn the following conclusion after measuring and analyzing the impact on the GRF and plantar pressure of stepping foot at the instep shooting moments. First, maximum vertical GRF showed higher in the skilled group than in the unskilled group. The results showed significantly different. This study reached the conclusion that the players in the skilled group performed faster and stronger stepping foot motions that the ones in the unskilled(p<.01). Second, since the plantar pressure of the skilled group appeared significantly higher than that of the unskilled, it has brought us to the conclusion that the skilled group performed faster and stronger stepping foot motions than the unskilled group (p<.05). Third, at the moment of instep kicking, the skilled group's average maximum plantar foot pressure of stepping foot was higher than the unskilled. Though the difference was not statistically significant, it can be concluded that the skilled group performed faster and stronger stepping foot motions than the unskilled group(p>.05). Fourth, for the COP moving route of stepping foot while instep kicking, the skilled people performed accurate and strong shooting motions directly toward the target direction with stable postures, no matter how it's left, right, front or back.

  • The electronic structures and magnetism of MgCCo$_3$(001) surface terminated by the plane with the MgCo-Term (Mg, Co terminated) and the CCo-Term (C, Co terminated) were investigated using the all-electron full-potential linearized augmented Plane-wave method. For the MgCo-Term, the magnetic moment of Co atom of the surface is strongly enhanced to 1.00$\mu$$_{B}$, while the magnetic moment of Co atom of the subsurface is similar to that of the center layers. For the CCo-Term, the magnetic moments of Co atoms are enhanced to 0.75 and 0.80$\mu$$_{B}$ for the surface and subsurface layers, respectively. The magnetic moments of C and Mg atoms are coupled antiferromagnetically to that of the neighbour Co atoms. From the calculated density of states, we see that the enhancements of magnetic moments of Co atoms are closely related to localization of the Co-3d states.
