  • The problem of managing digital design data including drawings, specifications and other technical data in building design and construction units is a real challenge, especially when there is a need to structure the design information across building design companies. The main difficulty in this information management is the shortage of unified rules (or standards) on how the digital design data should be gathered, archived, and preserved in the most efficient way for building design and construction units. The most important issue, which addressed in this work, is the standardized reference of all design data definitions.

혼합 공조 시스템의 EER(A) 평가 (Evaluation of energy efficiency ratio in the mixed air conditioner system)

  • Instead of testing split air conditioners, an empirically based calculation procedure may be used to estimate the Energy Efficiency Ratio at ARI A test conditions. Typically, the system involving the indoor unit well sold and the given outdoor unit is called the matched system. All other systems involving a given outdoor unit and other indoor units are called the mixed systems. To estimate the EER(A) for the mixed systems, EER(A) for the matched system must be known, Generally, the EER(A) for the matched system is known. This procedure relies on independent measurements and calculations made on an outdoor unit in conjunction with a matched indoor and a mixed indoor coil. A heat pump simulation model was used to quantify the effects of individual system components on the system performance. The procedure is applicable to all air-conditioning units having rated cooling capacities less than 19,000W and charged with refrigerant 22.

  • This paper proposes a unit commitment scheduling method based on hybrid genetic algorithm(GA). When the systems are scaled up, conventional genetic algorithms suffer from computational time limitations because of the growth of the search space. So greatly reduce the search space of the GA and to efficiently deal with the constraints of the problem, priority list unit ordering scheme are incorporated as the initial solution and the minimum up and down time constraints of the units are included. The violations of other constraints are handled by integrating penalty factors. To show the effectiveness of the proposed method. test results for system of 10 units is compared with results obtained using other methods.

  • n this research neural -based model was developed to forecast link travel times , And it is also compared wiht other time series forecasting models such as Box-Jenkins model, Kalman filter model. These models are validated to evaluate the accuracy of models with real time series data gathered by the license plate method. Neural network's convergency and generalization were investigated by modifying learning rate, momentum term and the number of hidden layer units. Through this experiment, the optimum configuration of the nerual network architecture was determined. Optimumlearining rate, momentum term and the number of hidden layer units hsow 0.3, 0.5, 13 respectively. It may be applied to DRGS(dynamic route guidance system) with a minor modification. The methods are suggested at the condlusion of this paper, And there is no doubt that this neural -based model can be applied to many other itme series forecating problem such as populationforecasting vehicel volume forecasting et .

  • This study is about correlation between WECPNL and other units such as NNI, Leq and Ldn for aircraft noise that ere measured by automatic measuring system networks for grasping the effect of aircraft noise and investigated the aircraft noise level from 2004 to 2005 nearby 10 airports in Korea. It is very important to find the relationship among the various noise units, because exchange between the results of many other nation's study can improve the assessment and mitigation study of the aircraft noise. Correlation between WECPNL and M is better than one between WECPNL and Leq and between WECPNL and Ldn, because WECPNL and NNI are based on the PNL.

Compressive strength behaviour of low-strength hollow concrete block masonry prisms

  • The present study aims to understand the behaviour of low-strength masonry prisms constructed with locally-produced low-strength hollow concrete blocks. Compression tests were conducted on masonry prisms constructed with three different mortar grades of cement-sand ratios of 1:3, 1:4.5 and 1:6 representing strong, moderately strong and weak mortar. Stress-strain curves were generated from the test results for the masonry prisms. The hollow concrete masonry units employed in this study are some of the weakest as compared to other masonry units employed by other researchers. The compressive strengths for masonry prisms with mortar grades 1:3, 1:4.5 and 1:6 are 2.21 MPa, 2.19 MPa and 2.25 MPa respectively. The results indicate that the masonry compressive strength of such low-strength hollow concrete block masonry prisms is not influenced by the mortar strength. Simple relationships to estimate the modulus of elasticity and compressive strength of masonry prisms is also proposed.

Pulsed Nd ; YGA 레이저의 치수마취효과에 관한 연구 (A STUDY OF ANALGESIC EFFECT ON PULP INDUCED BY PULSED Nd : YAG LASER)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the analgesic effect on pulp induced by pulsed Nd : YAG laser according to the power density, irradiated time and the method of application (Non-contact vs contact) in vivo. Experiments were carried out on 90 volunteers who have sound 4 canines. Each canine was grouped by the intensity and the time of irradiation of pulsed Nd : YAG laser was measured. Mean EPT response(units) was measured at 5 min, 30 min, and 60 min after irradiation with various intensity(1.5-3W, 15-30Hz), irradiated time (1.5min, 3min), and application method (Non-contact and contact). The results were as follows: 1. 5 minutes after irradiation, the mean EPT response(units) was increased by 32 % in the non-contact method and by 35% in the contact method of application. Which showed significant difference in mean EPT response(units) compared to not-lased canine in each groups(P<0.05). 2. The mean EPT response(units) with irradiating condition according to the various laser intensity, and the irradiation time stastically did not show significant difference in each groups as time elapsed. 3. There was no significant difference between the non-contact and contact method in the mean EPT response(units). 4. The mean EPT response(units) returned to the baseline value within 30 miuntes. In regard to the above results, the analgesic effect on pulp induced by pulsed Nd : YAG laser resulted a slight increase of pulpal pain threshold, but it was not as high as to replace the role of drug analgesia as whole. This technique can be used for inducing pulpal analgesia as adjunct to other pain control methods and is needed to develop better analgesic effects.

연산 결과의 의미 이해를 돕기 위한 단위 사용에서의 교수학적 변환 연구 (Didactic Transposition about Unit Usage to Help Recognize Meaning of Calculation Results)

  • 수치와 단위는 서로 동떨어진 것이 아니며, 단위는 수치의 의미를 명확히 하는 역할을 한다. 학생들이 해결해야하는 많은 문제에는 단위가 포함되는데, 문제해결 과정에서 관찰된 학생들은 연산 결과의 의미 이해에 어려움을 겪고 있었다. 이러한 현상의 현황을 확인하기 위해 초등학교 6학년 2개반 52명을 대상으로 검사지를 투입하여 그 실태를 파악하여 분석하였는데, 이들에게도 역시 단위는문제에 주어져 있는 것일 뿐, 단위를 연산의 의미 이해와 연결 짓지 못하였다. 이 연구에서는 이와 같은 결과를 토대로 기존의 교수학적 변환이 갖는 특징과 한계를 살펴보고, 연산 결과의 의미 이해 측면에서 단위가 갖는 이점을 고찰해 봄으로써 상황과 관련한 해석에 있어 단위가 갖는 효력을 구체화하였다. 특히 단위 연산 가능성을 허용한 교수학적 변환에 대한 구체적 논의와 시사점을 제안함으로써, 교수 학습에서 변화의 불가피성을 강조함과 동시에 실질적 도움을 제공하고자 하였다.

자기공명영상진단기(磁氣共鳴影像診斷機)(MRI)의 보유현황(保有現況) 및 이용실태(利用實態)에 관한 조사연구(調査硏究) -부산시내(釜山市內) 3개(個) 병원(病院)을 중심(中心)으로- (A Study on the Status of Installation and Utilization of Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Korea)

  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI) is one of the most expensive and sophisticated diagnostic tool and has been hailed as the most exciting event in medical imaging "since the introduction of X-rays", but a major disadvantage, high cost, is coming into focus especially in our country. To determine the status of distribution of MR imagers in Korea and to serve as a basic material for an efficient utilization of this Imaging machine, a retrospective survey of nationwide and regional(3 hospitals in Pusan) installations was performed. The results were as follows : 1. As of April 30, 1991, a total of 33 MRI units(24 for superconducting, 6 for permanent and 3 for resistive units) were set up and operated. 91% of the units were distributed in big cities with no one installation in 7 provinces among 12 provinces in our country. 85% of the units were imported. 2. Although 42.4% of the units were operated in Seoul, Taejeon had the best condition for the distribution of this imaging machine per population, hospital, and bed in Korea. 3. In Pusan : a) 5 units were operated with all superconducting magnet and medium magnetic field in type of machine. b) 80.1 % of the examinations were central nervous system(CNS). c) MRI examination occupied 1.4% of all radiographic examinations and the patients referred from other hospitals were composed of 23.4%% of all patients. 4. The average days under operating of MRI unit a week in Puasn were higher(5.5) than that of Seoul(4.5), but the average number of examinations and hours a week and a day, respectively(33, 8.4), was less than that of Seoul(57, 12.9). 5. The patients with positive MRI findings in a hospital(B) in Pusan was 74.5% on an average.

  • Purpose: A cost analysis for nursing services in operative nursing unit, emergency nursing unit, and ambulatory nursing unit was performed using patient classification system by nursing intensity in order to determine an appropriate nursing fee schedule. Method: The data were collected from 4 secondary hospitals and 5 tertiary hospitals from November 14th 2000 to January 15th 2001. The study was conducted through four phases as follows: 1) Nursing hours of each nursing service in special nursing units were measured using three kinds of patient classification systems by nursing intensity. 2) The nursing cost of nursing services in operative nursing unit, emergency nursing unit, and ambulatory nursing units was estimated based on patient classification system by nursing intensity. Results: As a result, nursing hours by nursing intensity of each special nursing unit were measured, and every nursing cost by nursing intensity in operation room and emergency room was estimated, meanwhile, the cost of nursing services in ambulatory care units was estimated only per visit as shown in chapter 4. Conclusion: Future research on nursing cost should be extended to other special nursing units such as various intensive nursing care units, delivery room, and so on. In addition, the patient classification system should be refined for its appropriateness to apply all levels of medical institutions.
