On the ground of researches in social consciousness about the folk remedies, both of them, people and oriental medicine doctors, feel strongly the relative importance and the necessity of the folk remedies. But the folk remedy had not groped for proper adoption and not shared in the benefits actually. Therefore the oriental medicine doctors present a direct guide for use, instead of leaving people to use improperly. And the oriental medicine doctors are in need of making a guide for efficient use of the folk remedies at the existing disease types.

The environment surrounding oriental medical' doctors made change in accordance with changes of the society to make change of the doctors' ethics. In particular, some of practitioners made light of patients to let people distrust all of the medical professions. To improve such a situation, oriental medical doctors' ethics should be examined historically and philosophically. This study examined the literatures of Oriental medicine on oriental medical doctors' ethics to investigate difference of medical ethics between the Western medicine and the Oriental medicine and to suggest a way promoting oriental medical doctors' ethical consciousness. The ethics of the literatures of Oriental medicine might be classified into the two, in other words, 'medical technology' and 'mental attitude'. 'Medical technology' laid emphasis upon not only a lot of researches on Oriental medicine but also doing best to give patients medical treatment carefully. 'Mental attitude' laid emphasis upon keeping 'humanity(仁心)' thinking much of patients not to pursue excessive profits. To recover ethical consciousness, not only 'reinforced school education' but also 'reinforced legal regulation' was required. And, oriental medical doctors, nongovernmental organizations, common people and other social members were demanded to make efforts together to elevate oriental medical doctors' ethical consciousness.

This study is on theoretical foundation for orthodoxy korean style Environmental Education based on oriental ecological thought. The main theme is that various kinds of all the ideas related with ecological thought based on oriental thoughts for EE should be focused into Moderation, the core-concept of oriental confuscian thoughts. The Moderation has not meant just a personal enlightenment, as it has known to general people, it can be developed into social status core-consciousness for regulating the natural resource. So we should focus on this conceptual developing mechanism personal enlightenment into social status for our orthodoxy konean style EE. It can be infered from Taoism, Confuscionism Buddism, especially, Anxiety Consciousness (WOOHWAN) for grand-scale anxiety to public society and universal cosmos. And also I drawed Harbermas-philosophy to provide good means for fortifying this research. His communication theory and restoration of real life for public people communication can be connected to oriental thoughts in the aspect of reciprocative response among the community people. So our orthodoxy korean style EE can be erected on the community-based regionality and their public communication through reciprocative response process. We should try to make this surrounding conditions nature-familiar oriental philosophy has provided from ancient times in the aspect all the traditional thought has been eco-deterministic.

School violence is known to cause various emotional, behavioral and social problems. Low self-esteem, lack of self consciousness, sense of alienation, guilty consciousness, somatoform symptoms and low concentration happened to adolescent victims. This patient was suffering for school violence during about a year, then Pain disorder occurred to him. Neurofeedback has been used as a complementary therapeutic relaxation and a increasing self-esteem technique. This patient, is a 13-year- boy, who had been exposed school violence for a year and caused severe and constant pain, was successfully treated by Neurofeedback therapy with oriental medication. This case report is focused on treatment through these methods.

Epilepsy is any of various neurological disorders characterized by sudden, recurring attacks of motor, sensory, or psychic malfunction with or without loss of consciousness or convulsive seizures. It could be divided into subcategories due to the international classification of epileptic seizure and the complex partial seizure, that is one of epileptic seizure subcategories, is characterized by elaborate and multiple sensory, motor, and/or psychic components accompanying the clouding of consciousness, prodrome, automatism, postictal confusion. This study reports a patient who was presumptive diagnosed as complex partial seizure by having the clouding of consciousness, prodrome, postictal confusion. We also diagnosed him as a ‘dianxian’ patient induced by sum deficiency of liver & kidney. This patient was treated by acupuncture to tonifying eum of liver & kidney and it achieved markedly improved symptoms.

Objective: There were few reports on the treatment of Hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy. We treated a hypoxic ischemic encephalopathic patient after accident with Oriental medical approach, and get a significant result. this treatment shows the possibility of healing Hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, So we are reporting that case. Method : The acupuncture, herb medication. rehabilitation therapy was applied for treting patient's chife symptom(involuntary movement, dystonia, aphasia, dysuria, constipation) Results : 1. Generally patients with Hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy show language impairment and cognition disorder for several weeks to months. After coma stage, first they recover consciousness but have various degree of confusional mentality, visual agnosia, extrapyramidal stiffness and motor disturbance. 2. Consciousness loss in acute stage of Hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy can be considered as Mental Confusion due to Phlegm(Dammisimgyu) in veiw point of Oriental medicine. 3. After oriental medical treatment, patient's chief symptoms were improved. Conclusion: We treated a hypoxic ischemic encephalopathic patient with Oriental medical approach and patient's chief symptoms were improved. this treatment shows the possibility of healing Hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy.

Seizure can be categorized in various ways. Seizures are divided into those that are generalized and those affecting only part of the brain (focal seizure). Focal (partial) seizures are subdivided into simple seizures and complex seizures. Simple focal seizures may be manifested by focal motor, sensory or autonomic symptoms and consciousness is preserved. The above symptoms may be preceded, accompanied or followed by, and consciousness is impaired in, complex focal seizures. Ictal aphasia can arise from epileptiform discharge on cortical language areas. Generally next to the ictal aphasia, generalized seizures occur, but without losing consciousness, only aphasia takes place. A 61-year-old woman was admitted due to ictal aphasia and facial spasm, and she showed a little palpitation and was startled easily. We diagnosed her as Shimdamgiheo (心膽氣虛) and Damhwashimyo (痰火心擾), so we prescribed Chungsimondam-tang. It was effective on that case. so we report.

This case is about the patient who has experienced available effect as a result of executing the treatment of physical constitution after deteriorating by symptoms being R/O because of side effects by Western medicine during the treatment by Western medicine after having diagnosis of melancholia. In the beginning of being clouded consciousness, it has paralleled the treatment by Oriental medicine and Western medicine. After restoration of consciousness the treatment by Oriental medicine was only executed. As a result of that, the initial symptoms and the existing melancholia have gotten better, and then it presented that the normal daily life would be available. We could examine that the treatment of physical constitution had available effect against melancholia. And it needs to widen it to the disorder of psychoneurosis hereafter. Also it showed that it needs systematic clinical research.

Narratives are the old stories handed down for a long time, which are not personal creations but common ones for ages. They were formed from the public consciousness, passed orally and recorded in letters. There have been lots of studies on narratives about characters, whereas there have been poor in the studies on the great doctors. The author examined the narratives about great doctors in literature for successive generations, and made researches on world view and consciousness of reality reflected on the age directly or indirectly. The author inquired into the descriptions and constructions of the narratives separately, and classified the great doctors in literature into the miraculous doctors, eccentric doctors and righteous doctors. Therefore truly great doctor is the one who treats not only personal diseases but also social problems, and who tries to harmonize with human beings and nature.

Objectives : Because of emphasizing a side of preventive medicine in the oriental medicine, an interest in Doinqigong(導引氣功: Physical and breathing exercise) has been elated recently. But, it has a limited sphere of application in the present south korea. Therefore we would like to bring out its sphere of application and detailed method in the oriental medicine classics. Method : We have researched theory and method of Doinqigong in the Junghwauijeon(中華醫典: Oriental medicine classic collections) DB according to below the procedure. (1) Making a related words list: We have used existing study of Doinqigong to make a list. It has been connected with Doinqigong. It includes not only technical terms, but also general terms. (2) Searching sentence: We have searched sentence that contain terms related with Doinqigong in the Junghwaeujeon DB. (3) Analysis of related sentence: We have searched and classified sentence by theory and method. Conclusions : (1) The total number of oriental medicine classics connected with Doinqigong is twelve. (2) The number of oriental medicine classics connected with Doinqigong's theory is four. and the contents are the working principle of Doinqigong, the Doinqigong following to time, the control of life's cultivation, the importance of consciousness, the consciousness of the running qigong and so on.
