리튬이온 2차전지(Lithium ion battery, LIB)는 기존에 사용되던 전지에 비해 에너지 밀도가 높고 충방전 사이클이 우수하다. 이 때문에 휴대전화와 노트북 등에 수요가 급속하게 증가하고 있으며 1995년 LIB의 생산량은 4천만 개에서 2004년에는 약 8억 개로 20배 이상 증가하였다. 이에 따라 폐LIB도 급속하게 증가하게 되어 전국적인 재활용 시스템의 확보가 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 폐LIB에 함유되어 있는 유가금속 중에서 리튬코발트옥사이드(이하 $LiCoO_2$)를 회수하기 위하여 분쇄기(orient vertical cutting mill)와 진동 Screen을 사용하여 유기분리막, 금속류(Aluminium foil, Copper foil, case 등) 그리고 전극물질(lithium cobalt oxide와 graphite 등의 혼합 분말)로 분리하였다. 전극물질에서 $LiCoO_2$와 graphite 분리를 위한 전처리 단계로서 $500^{\circ}C$ 정도의 열처리를 하여 $LiCoO_2$의 표면 성질을 변화시켜 부유선별에 의해 $LiCoO_2$와 graphite의 분리가 가능하도록 하였다. 부유선별 실험 결과 93% 이상의 순도를 가지는 $LiCoO_2$를 92% 이상 회수할 수 있었다.

This study is conducted to evalute the effect of ginseng fraction component (ginseng extract solution, GES; ginseng protein, GP; ginseng saponin, GSA; ginseng residue, GR) upon hyperlipidemia and fatty liver induced by high fat administration. In doing so, the serum, liver and epididymal adpoid tissue have been examined for lipid components level and lipoprotein fraction. Feces bile acid and neutral sterol excretion have been also measured. 1'he results obtained from this study are as follows. 1. Serum, liver, epididymal lipid components of GP and GSA group were significantly lower than the controlgroup. 2. During the feeding experiment, VLDL and LDL increase while HDL decrease in all group. However the degree of VLDL and LDL increase and HDL decrease were signficantly small in GP and GSA group compared with control group. 3. In the excretion of bile acid and neutral sterol, all experiment group showed increased excretion in the comparison of control group.

The purpose of this study is to help understanding of east-west culture fusion in fashion since 2000 years, to play a guideline's role in the development on fashion designs study. The methods of this study are academic literatures as well as practical study through case studies about actual works. Tendency of east-west culture fusion in fashion since 2000 years is shape and performance, pattern, accessary. Shape and performance are reinterpreted through east folk fashion transforming on west fashion, pattern shows traditional pattern of each nations, but letters of typical of each nations appears for new pattern which expresses nation identification. Accessary is in the harmony with east -west fashion culture like that without transform. Aesthetic value of east-west culture fusion in fashion since 2000 years is summerised opening, co-ownership, and amusement. First, opening is positiveness of acception and acknowledgment for other. Second, co-ownership turns towards humanism, and proves participating in globalism and really global village. Third, amusement is to express freedom, and to reveal privately emotion concealing in public area.

Many countermeasures are presented to make excessive earth circumstance pollution better in the earth. A lot of researches are in progress to lessen $CO_2$ among the industries exhausting it. The industries manufacturing cement are making many countermeasures. Many concernments on ECO-friendly materials, rather than cement, are increased, and researches are in progress to develop them. Lime, material mostly used before Portland cement appeared, attracts the Occident as well as the Orient. In the Occident, lime mortar was used in common, for maintaining and repairing cultural properties, too. This study is aimed at offering basic materials for the modern use of lime, ECO-friendly material. This study measured the change of intensity and weight with lime, sand, and earth, basic materials of Samhoimool. As a result, at the beginning, hydrated lime displayed its density late, but as time was gone, density was promoted continuously. In addition, density was promoted, when it was given heat at the beginning. If heat-generation reaction of quicklime and water was used, density was promoted at the beginning, but liquidity showed a drop.

In this paper we discuss a direct satellite broadcasting system for vehicle. The proposed satellite-steering algorithm and controller based on it are designed for a communication and broadcasting system which uses the Mugungwha satellite. The Mugungwha satellite that the proposed system should steer is a geostationary orbit device. The satellite-steering algorithm computes azimuth and elevation with reference to a stationary point on earth. This is extended to a real satellite steering algorithm that considers position and attitude. Real moving position and attitude are represented by latitude, longitude, roll, pitch and yaw. To apply these five pieces of information to the reference satellite steering algorithm, we introduce Euler's degree coordinates that express independently the rotation of each axis relative to an axis. There are two ways a basic algorithm of the antenna of a vehicle can track and orient to satellite. One way is a feedback loop method for broadcasting gain, while the other is a feedback loop method for position and attitude of a vehicle. In the present paper, we design a controller of satellite broadcasting system for a vehicle using an algorithm that combines the two methods. We performed a simulation and experiment to prove effectiveness.

The satellite in space has a tiny size but is subject to the disturbance torques caused by various sources. The presence of environmental disturbance torques significantly affects the orient as well as the orbital motion of satellite. The sources of environmental effects on LEO Satellite attitude dynamics are various. Four of these, gravity gradient, Earth's magnetic field, solar radiation pressure and aerodynamic are dominant and deterministic. In this study, we describe the model of environmental disturbance torques acting on LEO Satellite and the effects of environmental disturbance torques on LEO Satellite attitude dynamics in detail.

After we looked back on the process western psychotherapy, and consider current meaning and necessity of buddhism. we concluded as follows 1. We can apply buddhism to psychotherapy in terms of oriental medicine. Especially buddhism with long history in the orient has similarity with oriental medicine and common cultural background. therefore it will be useful especially to koreans 2. Whereas buddhism's object is Nirvana, that of medicine is to return to the above view. to apply various methodologies of buddhism to psychology of oriental medicine you must select useful parts and drop others 3. Whereas buddhism centers on human mind, oriental medicine wholly describes body and mind without separation, buddhism put stress on inside of consciousness and oriental medicine put stress on revealing process 4. It is difficult to combine buddhism to oriental medicine theoretically. In combining it is easier to accept buddhism practically rather than theoretically 5. To apply buddhism clinically we have to modify buddhism to modern societies and to research and discussion to combine it to the system of oriental medicine

Koran ginseng(Pnax ginseng) is one of the most important medicinal plants in Orient. Among the nine cultivars of Korea ginseng, Chunpoong commands a much greater market value and has been planted widely. A rapid and reliable method for discriminating the Chunpoong cultivar was developed by exploiting a single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) in the mitochondrial nad7 intron 4 region of nine Korea ginseng cultivars using universal primers. A SNP was detected between Chunpoong and other cultivars and modified allele-specific primers were designed from this SNP site to effective method for the geneic identification of the Chunpoong cultivar of ginseng.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristic and image of oriental costume design on represented among three countries, Korea, China and Japan. The specific objectives were; 1) to identify the design characteristics of oriental costume. 2) to investigate the hierarchic structure of oriental costume image and the meaning structure of oriental costume image. The stimulus were 75 costume design of contemporary costume which represented the traditional image of orient. The main survey of questionary consisted of their evaluation of the oriental costume image by 26 semantic differential bi-polar scales and the subjects were 99 female students majoring in clothing and textiles. The data were analyze by Cluster analysis. Factor analysis, ANOVA, Scheffe test. The major findings were as follows; 1) As a result of design analysis, costume design of Korea, China, Japan had differences on form, color, texture, pattern, ornament, etc. 2) The hierarchic structure of oriental costume image consisted of elegance, sexy, feminine. Through factor analysis about oriental costume image 7 factors were identified; Attention, Attractiveness, Sexiness, Activeness, Weightness, Classics, Classics, Maturity. It was found out strongly that Korean costume image was simple and comfort image, Chinese costume image was sexy and feminine image, Japanese costume image was luxurious and mature image.
