Fog computing aims to provide the solution of bandwidth, network latency and energy consumption problems of cloud computing. Likewise, management of data generated by healthcare IoT devices is one of the significant applications of fog computing. Huge amount of data is being generated by healthcare IoT devices and such types of data is required to be managed efficiently, with low latency, without failure, and with minimum energy consumption and low cost. Failures of task or node can cause more latency, maximum energy consumption and high cost. Thus, a failure free, cost efficient, and energy aware management and scheduling scheme for data generated by healthcare IoT devices not only improves the performance of the system but also saves the precious lives of patients because of due to minimum latency and provision of fault tolerance. Therefore, to address all such challenges with regard to data management and fault tolerance, we have presented a Fault Tolerant Data management (FTDM) scheme for healthcare IoT in fog computing. In FTDM, the data generated by healthcare IoT devices is efficiently organized and managed through well-defined components and steps. A two way fault-tolerant mechanism i.e., task-based fault-tolerance and node-based fault-tolerance, is provided in FTDM through which failure of tasks and nodes are managed. The paper considers energy consumption, execution cost, network usage, latency, and execution time as performance evaluation parameters. The simulation results show significantly improvements which are performed using iFogSim. Further, the simulation results show that the proposed FTDM strategy reduces energy consumption 3.97%, execution cost 5.09%, network usage 25.88%, latency 44.15% and execution time 48.89% as compared with existing Greedy Knapsack Scheduling (GKS) strategy. Moreover, it is worthwhile to mention that sometimes the patients are required to be treated remotely due to non-availability of facilities or due to some infectious diseases such as COVID-19. Thus, in such circumstances, the proposed strategy is significantly efficient.

The purpose of this study is to suggest that performers in the performing arts actively utilize the loading dock and stage door when evacuating from the stage space of a performance hall in a crisis situation. Therefore, first, we analyzed the system related to the performance hall's safety. The stage evacuation type was classified into A, B, C, and D forms by applying the building law audience evacuation standards. Second, statistical data were organized based on measurement data, and the characteristics of each form were summarized. Third, the network reliability measurement method was borrowed to evaluate the evacuation safety of the evacuation route in the stage space. We confirmed quantitatively that the direction of the loading dock direction and stage door direction on the stage is advantageous for evacuation. In this study, it was possible to distinguish the advantage of evacuation according to the type of evacuation, (A(0.1274)>B(0.1228).>.C(0.0487)) with A being the most advantageous. These results can be expected to improve the evacuation safety of the stage, and furthermore, they are expected to be used as basic data for stage evacuation.

In this study, a deep convolutional neural network (DCNN) model is proposed for short-term precipitation forecasting using weather radar-based images. The DCNN model is a combination of convolutional neural networks, autoencoder neural networks, and U-net architecture. The weather radar-based image data used here are retrieved from competition for rainfall forecasting in Korea (AI Contest for Rainfall Prediction of Hydroelectric Dam Using Public Data), organized by Dacon under the sponsorship of the Korean Water Resources Association in October 2020. This data is collected from rainy events during the rainy season (April - October) from 2010 to 2017. These images have undergone a preprocessing step to convert from weather radar data to grayscale image data before they are exploited for the competition. Accordingly, each of these gray images covers a spatial dimension of 120×120 pixels and has a corresponding temporal resolution of 10 minutes. Here, each pixel corresponds to a grid of size 4km×4km. The DCNN model is designed in this study to provide 10-minute predictive images in advance. Then, precipitation information can be obtained from these forecast images through empirical conversion formulas. Model performance is assessed by comparing the Score index, which is defined based on the ratio of MAE (mean absolute error) to CSI (critical success index) values. The competition results have demonstrated the impressive performance of the DCNN model, where the Score value is 0.530 compared to the best value from the competition of 0.500, ranking 16th out of 463 participating teams. This study's findings exhibit the potential of applying the DCNN model to short-term rainfall prediction using weather radar-based images. As a result, this model can be applied to other areas with different spatiotemporal resolutions.
Companies with ethical management can be said to influence the performance of an organization based on the ethical judgment of its members. In this study, ethical judgment was set up as the subject of the ethical judgment, and the ethical judgment was set up by bosses and colleagues who are members of the business and organization as the factors of ethical judgment. The research was designed to examine the impact of ethical judgment on job satisfaction and organizational civic behavior, the impact of ethical judgment on organizational trust, and analyzed the medium effect of organizational trust in the relationship between ethical judgment and job satisfaction and organized civic action. The target of this study was to survey 450 workers in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province and South Chungnam Province from October 7, 2019 to November 2, using them as empirical data. The SPS 24.0 Statistical Analysis Program was used for the analysis of data. The study confirmed that ethical judgment was affecting task satisfaction, organizational civic behavior, and organizational trust, and that parameters such as organizational trust affected task satisfaction and organizational civic behavior depending on how individuals perceive the organization. Ethical judgment has a high impact on organized citizen behavior and job satisfaction, and ethical management of how to improve ethical judgment is absolutely necessary to enhance organizational citizen behavior and job satisfaction, and it is necessary to develop and implement various programs that enable a sense of unity with the organization.

This Evaluation was made through 300 persons who had attended the lecture organized by O. M. P. T. (Orthopeadic Manual Physical Therapy) during the period of January to June 1998 in Seoul and in other six(6) cities. The result of evaluation is summarized as follows : 1. With regard to general satisfaction with lecture, it was evaluated as 'more than good 'by 204 person(68.0%) for 'Preparation for lecture of lecturer' and by 194 person (64.7%) for 'Teaching Method'. Statistically, the significance was largely given to 'Place and Preparation for Lecture of Lecturer' and 'Preparation for Lecture as per each Lecturer' (P< 0.001). 2. With regard to understanding of lecture, it was evaluated as 'more then good' by 190 persons(63.3%) for 'Appropriate Teaching Hours' and by 149 persons(49.7%) for 'Appropriate Degree of Lecture Difficulties'. Statistically, the significance was largely given to 'Lecturer and Appropriateness of Teaching Hours' (P< 0.05) and 'Appropriateness of Teaching Courses and Degree of Lecture Difficulties' (P< 0.01). 3. With regard to satisfaction with lecture's performance, it was evaluated as 'more than good' by 194 persons(64.7%) for 'Lecturer's Zeal for Teaching' and by 198 persons(66.8%) for 'Suitability of Textbook'. Statistically, the significance was largely given to 'Sex Distinction and Lectuer's Zeal for Teaching' (P< 0.01) and 'Lecturer and Suitability of Textbook' (P< 0.05). 4. With regard to teaching environment, it was evaluated as 'more than good' by 102 persons(37.4%) for 'Appropriateness of Teaching Environment' and by 193 persons(64.3%) for 'Provision of Appropriate Audio-Visual Aids for Teaching'. Statistically, the significance was largely given to 'Place and Appropriateness of audio-visual aids for Teaching' (P<0.05). 5. With regard to parctical use of lecture, it was evaluated as 'more than good' by 172 persons(54.7%) for 'Usefulness to clinical demonstration' and by 209 person(69.6%) for 'Attitude towards study'. With the result of evaluation made as in the above, we are able to see that the education of orthopedic physical therapy which is organized by Orthpedic Physical Therapy Society of Korea, is being successfully conducted and evaluated by its members, and furthermore the staff of this society has to make his best endeavoures for the growth of this society and for the development of this education.

With regard to understanding of lecture, it was evaluated as 'more then good' by 675 persons(55.4%) for 'Appropriate Degree of Lecture Difficulties'. Statistically, the significance was largely given to 'Appropriateness of Teaching Courses and Degree of Lecture Difficulties' (P< 0.001). Degree of Lecture Difficulties' (P< 0.001). 3. With regard to satisfaction with lecture's performance, it was evaluated as 'more than good' by 969 persons (87.7%) for 'Lecturer's Zeal for Teaching" and by 751 persons(61.6%) for 'Suitability of Textbook'. Purpose: Early prediction of prognosis of children resuscitated from cardiac arrest is a major challenge. We investigated the utility of electroencephalography (EEG) and laboratory studies for predicting of neurologic outcome in children resuscitated from cardiac arrest. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed medical records of patients who were resuscitated from cardiac arrest from 2006 to 2015 at the Gil Medical Center. Patients aged one month to 18 years were included. EEG analysis included background scoring, reactivity and seizure burden. EEG background was classified score 0 (normal/organized), score 1 (slow and disorganized), score 2 (discontinuous or burst suppression), and score 3 (suppressed and featureless). Neurologic outcome was evaluated by Pediatric Cerebral Performance Category (PCPC) at least 6 months after cardiac arrest. Results: Total 26 patients were evaluated. Nine patients showed good neurologic outcome (PCPC 1, 2, 3) and 17 patients showed poor neurologic outcome (PCPC 4, 5, 6). Patients of poor neurologic outcome group showed EEG background score 3 in 88.2%, whereas 44.4% in patients of good neurologic outcome group (P=0.028). Electrographic ictal discharges except non-convulsive status epilepticus were presented in 44.4% of good neurologic outcome group and 5.9% of poor neurologic outcome group (P=0.034). Ammonia and lactate levels were higher and pH levels were lower in poor outcome group than good neurologic outcome group. Conclusion: Suppressed and featureless EEG background is associated with poor neurologic outcome and electrographic seizures are associated with good neurologic outcome.

Value Engineering(VE) is an organized effort to create the most value through a functional analysis and creation of alternatives. Depending on the VE job plan, a VE Workshop must be performed in a certain place within a certain period of time. A VE Workshop, which is an organized activity that aims to create the best value through functional analysis and creation of alternatives, should be held in a certain place and at a scheduled time according to the VE job plan. In the Pre-Study, VE Study and Post-Study phases of VE, functional assessments, performance evaluations and idea evaluations are driven by variable management techniques and analysis methods, respectively. Generally, VE is executed for about 3 to 5 days in a particular place to create value. However, there are many problems associated with limiting all VE processes to a specific place and schedule. Moreover, in Korea, VE teams are required to finish all VE processes in a limited time because of the short duration of VE workshops, the necessity of which has been overlooked. Therefore, an efficient VE support system is required to resolve the problem of time and space limitations. In this study, a VE support system based on the Mobile environment was developed to support the VE Workshop process. This VE support system enables participants to review design documents, drawing sheets and all VE-related documents using mobile devices. After the Workshop, participants can conveniently rearrange the result(evaluation of function and ideas) at the workshop. Not only can the members of VE team can review the design documents, drawing sheet and all VE-related documents in the step before the workshop, but also the result(evaluation of function and ideas) of the workshop can be easily rearranged in the phase after the workshop under the developed supporting system using mobile devices.
Retrieving temporal information of encoded events is one of the core control processes in episodic memory. Despite much prior neuroimaging research on episodic retrieval, little is known about how large-scale connectivity patterns are involved in the retrieval of sequentially organized episodes. Task-related functional connectivity multivariate pattern analysis was used to distinguish the different sequential retrieval. In this study, participants performed temporal episodic memory tasks in which they were required to retrieve the encoded items in either the forward or backward direction. While separately parsed local networks did not yield substantial efficiency in classification performance, the large-scale patterns of interactivity across the cortical and sub-cortical brain regions implicated in both the cognitive control of memory and goal-directed cognitive processes encompassing lateral and medial prefrontal regions, inferior parietal lobules, middle temporal gyrus, and caudate yielded high discriminative power in classification of temporal retrieval processes. These findings demonstrate that mnemonic control processes across cortical and subcortical regions are recruited to re-experience temporally-linked series of memoranda in episodic memory and are mirrored in the qualitatively distinct global network patterns of functional connectivity.
This study aims to make suggestions for more effective budget utilization and R&D project investment through verification of the efficiency of research results for the government's R&D projects. Efficiency was analyzed using Data Envelope Analysis(DEA) and 'Malmquist Index analysis' for the research results of convergence research projects organized by the National Science and Technology Research Association. The analysis targets were convergence research projects organized by the National Science and Technology Research Association and general entrusted research projects by government-funded research institutes, and dynamic analysis was conducted using DEA and Malmquist Index analysis. As a result of the analysis, the convergence research project showed high efficiency from the static perspective of DEA. On the other hand, from a dynamic perspective through the Malmquist Index analysis method, the efficiency of the general consignment project gradually declined, while the efficiency of the convergence research project improved every year. This suggests that convergence studies have higher results than general studies. Through the results of this study, we intend to present objective standards for performance evaluation of government R&D investment and provide objective implications for rational investment policies and research project planning of research personnel and research funds to improve efficiency for government-funded research institutes.
