This study intended to analyze what factors affect fundraising effectiveness in nonprofit social service organizations. Focusing on organizational characteristics only, current studies did not address the importance of organizational capacity leading to organizational effectiveness. Based on the assumption of the relation between organizational capacity and effectiveness of nonprofit organizations, this study added factors indicating organizational capacity to the current model. After collecting data from 147 staffs involving in fundraising activities of nonprofit social service organizations, this study used a hierarchical regression analysis. The results showed that organizational capacity had a significant impact on the variance of fundraising effectiveness. Despite the limitations of the purposive sampling method, this study has implications to provide practical guideline for nonprofit managers and to develop a theoretical framework with a new perspective on organizational capacity.

The research model was verified with Smart PLS 3.0 based on the survey conducted overa total a total of of 126 pparticipantseople's surveys for the employees. First, the ITSIC had a positive effect on both the alignment and adaptability and also on absorption capacity. Second, it was confirmed that organizational temperance hads a positive effect on absorption capacity. Third, when the organizational temperance was mediated in the relationship between ITSIC and absorption capacity, it had a indicated a positive effect. Fourth, absorption capacity had a positive impact on organizational performance. The implications of this study differ from the existing studies through by validating validation of correlations correlations by extending IT technology and organizational performance to organizational ethical factors. In addition, it has been established that the ethical factors of the organization also act as leading factors of absorption capacity. ITSIC helps managers make balanced decision-making, which can contribute to improving absorption capacity by giving members a positive perception, ultimately having a positive impact on organizational performance. It suggests the importance of building appropriate IT infrastructure and cultivating organizational virtues in order to improve the performance of organizations in which absorption capacity is essential.
In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the level of data-efficient utilization greatly affects the performance of the enterprise. This study was to verify the effect on organizational performance and the absorption capacity as a mediate, depending on person-job fit and person-organization fit in organizational memory affordance. According to a survey of 317 employees of large, medium and small businesses, organizations that have sufficient organizational memory have had a positive impact on both person-job fit(PJF) and person-organization fit(POF), and also on absorption capacity. In addition, the organizational memory affordance had a positive effect on absorption capacity by mediating the POF. PJF and POF had a positive effect on management performance, but only POF when mediating absorption capacity showed a positive influence relationship. This study is meaningful by comprehensively empirical analysis of the organizational IT construction environment and the members' perception of organization and job as a leading factor in absorption capacity, and simultaneously demonstrating the impact on organizational performance.

As the business environment becomes more rapid and unpredictable change, greater diversity, increased complexity, and intensified competitive pressures, supply chain risk management has been growing attention over the past several decades. However, little of known about how absorptive capacity can mitigate supply chain risk for improving operational performance despite its important role in responding to supply chain risk. Therefore, we aim to examine the role of organizational-level absorptive capacity on operational performance, and further identify how the interplay of individual-level and organizational-level absorptive capacity results in operational performance. Our results represent not only direct but also indirect effects of supply chain risk on operational performance, mediated by organizational-level absorptive capacity. Furthermore, this study reveals that individual-level absorptive capacity enhances the effect of organizational-level absorptive capacity on operational performance.
The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of IT group efficacy of small business using B2B e-commerce on organizational performance. First, we conceptualized IT group efficacy, based on theories in regard to group efficacy, absorptive capacity, and electronic information sharing. And then we examine that IT group efficacy of small business setting up IS and performing B2B e-commerce increases absorptive capacity and electronic information sharing, and ultimately improves organizational performance. The result is that IT group efficacy has a significant positive effect on absorptive capacity, but doesn't have a significant positive effect on electronic information sharing. Also absorptive capacity has a significant positive effect on electronic information sharing and organizational performance, and electronic information sharing has a significant positive effect on organizational performance. Finally, we discuss about the limits and directions as well as the results and implications of this study.
This study examines the effects of entrepreneurship and organizational innovation capacity(strategic planning capacity, R&D capacity, technology commercialization capacity) and strategic directionality (customer orientation, technology orientation) The relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and innovation capacity. First, the research model and the hypothesis were set up based on the literature review, and 400 questionnaires were distributed and retrieved for the manufacturing workers in Gyeongbuk province. As a result of the study, it accepted that the corporate entrepreneurship had significant influence on organizational innovation capacity. And confirmed a significant moderating effect of strategic directionality. However, the moderating effect of customer orientation was rejected in relation to entrepreneurship and technology commercialization. These findings can provide guidelines for organizational management in terms of culture by identifying the effects of corporate entrepreneurship and strategic orientation at organizational level.
Organizational citizenship behaviors(OCB) are discretionary behaviors of employees, which go beyond that which is required, and are known to be contributing factors of organizational performance. When a supply chain management(SCM) system is implemented, organizational knowledge concerning the global standards, process innovation and key performance indicators(KPI) is also spread out across different, disconnected silos, thus increasing the absorptive and innovative capacity of employees. Therefore, OCB may be an important antecedent to successful operation of supply chain. This paper examines the causal relationships among absorptive capacity of employees, organizational citizenship, SCM performance and intention to innovate in global manufacturing corporations in Korea. Empirical results from 122 survey responses indicate that the organizational citizenship affects the level of SCM performance and absorptive capacity, which, in turn, influences SCM performance. As expected, SCM performance has been found to affect intention to innovate, but absorptive capacity has no impact on intention to innovate. As a conclusion, the academic and practical implications of these findings are discussed.
With the competitive pressure and the development of information and communication technology, many organizations have introduced various kinds of enterprise-wide systems like enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems as strategic tools for the purpose of improving organizational performance. Despite their promised strategic benefits, however, their implementation has suffered from a high failure rate and difficulty in realizing the anticipated benefits. Previous studies have indicated that one of the most critical failure reasons is the lack of knowledge sharing and utilization across organizations. As a consequence, many information systems (IS) researchers have paid attention to examining the effect of absorptive capacity closely associated with knowledge sharing and transferring on IS usage performance. ERP systems implementation involves changes not only in systems but also in processes and other social dimensions, which can be related to organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) requiring appropriate communications and interactions among organizational members. A lack of communications and interactions due to a lack of OCB might lead to weak absorptive capacity and thus negatively influence knowledge sharing across organizations, because OCB facilitates a successful collaboration among functional units and positively impacts individual's attitude toward radical organizational change. With this motivation, this study has two research objectives. First, it introduces and tests a theoretical model accounting for the relationships among performance of ERP system usage, absorptive capacity, and OCB. Second, it examines a mediating role of absorptive capacity between OCB and performance of EPR system usage. Theoretical and practical implications of the study ware discussed, along with its limitations.
