군대 조직에서 진성리더십이 직무만족과 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of Authentic Leadership on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Citizenship Behavior: Focus on Military Organization Behavior)

  • Purpose: The study is aimed to understand the influence of the authentic leadership in the military organization on the collective and personal level of effectiveness and to examine the impact of authentic leadership on job satisfaction and the organizational citizenship behavior in the military. Methods: The empirical test are based on an effective survey with 337 respondents who are military officers in order to verify the hypothesis of the research. Results: The results of this study found that the authentic leadership has partial positive impact on the job satisfaction. The job satisfaction has positive impact on organizational citizenship behavior. Conclusion: According to the results of this study, leaders must be educated through personal education in order to express themselves honestly. Education should be carried out so that they ca develop qualities that can truly reward mental rewards for good work and praise. The self-examination should be done with the self-examination.

  • Many companies around the world are applying CMMI to improve the organization's ability to perform projects, and many others are pushing to obtain CMMI certification as more and more of them are offered as preconditions for participation in projects or supply product. Organizations with high maturity such as CMMI Level 4~5, analyze the accumulated R&D data of the organization and establish the performance management model so that R&D performance is continuously managed. So this paper shows the R&D performance management model made by LIGNex1 which is certificated with CMMI Level 5 organization and the case applied to the project, including its effectiveness.

  • In this paper, there is the case study which assesses the systems engineering capability maturity of the safety organization that performs the Railway Safety project using systems engineering method. To In ore effective and efficient a research and development to railway safety domain, a new research and development method can be progressively needed such as systems engineering. To assess quantitatively research of systems engineering efforts in the railway safety project, SECM(EIA/IS 731) Standard is utilized in the paper. It is by questionnaire that the capability maturity assessment is executed wit h the safety organization and staffs who performs the systems engineering activities; requirement analysis and management, interface control management. product verification and validation, and so on. As a result, the systems engineering capability level of the safety organization rises from 0 level at the initial project to 2 level after two years and all staffs give an affirmative answer about the importance and effectiveness of the systems engineering approach.

문화적 요인의 실증적 분석과 갈등 관리에 관한 연구 (A Study on Corroboration of Cultural Factors and Organizational Dissension Management)

  • Culture is that the system of shared beliefs, values, customs, behaviors, and artifacts that the members of society use to cope with their world and with one another, and that are transmitted from generation to generation through learning. Members of an organization are affected by culture. And dissensions in an organization give negative effects to behavior of the members, especially to satisfaction from organization. This study is on the dissension management by considering of cultural characteristics of pilots. Cultural characteristics of pilots were surveyed and analyzed with the V5M94(values survey module94) which was developed by Hofstede. As results, the cultural indexes of the pilots were different from the national means. The indexes presented that korean pilots' cultural characteristics are low POI, high IDV, low MAS and low UAI as North European cultural characteristics. For managing the pilots group, make expansion of opportunity to take part in decision making, release or share of informations are required. And motivations, delegation, free from unnecessary interventions, understanding and forgiveness rather than disciplinary punishment, thoughtful considerations could be effectiveness. And for developing more effective management methods, management strategies of north european airlines should be studied.

The Impact of Information Technology on Organizational Performance: The Mediating Effect of Organizational Learning

  • This study aims to examine OL as a potential mediating variable in the relationship between IT and organizational performance. Organizational learning (OL) has been proposed as the mechanism to accomplish this task. Existing empirical research demonstrates that OL may indeed act as a mediator for the effect of IT on organizational outcomes. Also, existing literature discusses the use of technology in the organization, and the case for OL as the key knowledge process, and the intersection between technology and OL as a knowledge-based means for improving organizational performance. Many studies use a descriptive measure of OL despite the theory suggesting that a normative measure may be more appropriate. This study aims to address these concerns in a setting by using structural equation modelling (SEM) to compare the effectiveness of descriptive and normative measures of OL as mediating variables in knowledge-intensive organizations. Survey results support OL as a mediator between IT and organizational performance in addition to normative measures of OL outperforming descriptive measures. Implications for research and practice are discussed. To test the model, we will apply (SEM) structural equation modeling in the analysis of a moment structures (AMOS) on the empirical evidence collected from 218 Pakistani CEOs and top managers.

스웜시스템을 위한 자기조직화의 3D 확장 (Extension of Self-organization for Swarm Systems to Three Dimensions)

  • 본 논문은 3D 환경에서의 스웜시스템을 위한 자기조직화 방법을 제시한다. 스웜 시스템의 자기조직화를 위하여 인력과 척력을 이용하는 인공 포텐셜 함수(Artificial Potential Function, 이하 APF)를 사용하였다. 제안된 연구에서는 2D 환경에서 자기조직화를 위해 사용되어왔던 다양한 포텐셜들을 3D 환경에 맞게 확장 설계한다. 지면이나 수면 등의 경계면을 가지는 3D 환경의 특성을 고려하여 지면 포텐셜(Ground Potential)을 제안한다. 지면 포텐셜을 고려하지 않았을 때와 고려할 때의 비교 결과를 통해 지면 포텐셜의 필요성과 효과를 보여준다. 마지막으로, 다양한 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 3D 환경에서 확장된 인공포텐셜과 그 성질의 효율성을 보여준다.

  • Should the Korea Maritime Police Agency (KMPA) be a comprehensive, multi-functional organization for a unique on-scene service at sea, as in the case of the U.S. Coast Guard, or should it be simply a water police agency, confining its mission only to law enforcement? The argument about enlarging or limiting KMPA's function has been and will be repeated. In this paper, Lee Sangjib highlights the internal and external issues facing KMPA, stemming partly from deficiencies of its struggles for advancement of the organization and partly from shortcomings of political support for it. In this regard, he urges KMPA to practise a scientific management system for maximizing cost-effectiveness of its administrative resources and for maintaining its identity and characteristics as a lead maritime agency. In addition, he also suggests that KMPA adopt the Total Quality Management System for quality improvements in services and greater efficiency in its organization structure to meet the future competition in the changing political and legal environment. He further recommends the proactive, non-regulatory 'Prevention Through People' program, pioneered by the U.S. Coast Guard, as a way of changing KMPA's existing lopsidedly legalistic culture. He concludes by providing a 6-point vision statement for KMPA from the standpoint of favoring enlarging the function of KMPA.

  • This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Moodle system in the organization of independent work of students of pedagogical profile.The purpose of the article is to analyze the Moodle platform as an innovative element of educational and pedagogical strategies and a component of the educational and methodological content for the self-study of students.Methodology is divided into clusters: general scientific (analysis, classification), ICT methods (modeling, informatization), and philosophical (synergetics). The study revealed the reorientation of Moodle from an auxiliary element to an alternative format in the organization of independent work of student teachers. Prospects for further scientific research determined in the interest of all participants in the educational process in the further development of Moodle as an effective tool for self-education of future teachers.

Novel potential drugs for the treatment of primary open-angle glaucoma using protein-protein interaction network analysis

  • Glaucoma is the second leading cause of irreversible blindness, and primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) is the most common type. Due to inadequate diagnosis, treatment is often not administered until symptoms occur. Hence, approaches enabling earlier prediction or diagnosis of POAG are necessary. We aimed to identify novel drugs for glaucoma through bioinformatics and network analysis. Data from 36 samples, obtained from the trabecular meshwork of healthy individuals and patients with POAG, were acquired from a dataset. Next, differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified to construct a protein-protein interaction (PPI) network. In both stages, the genes were enriched by studying the critical biological processes and pathways related to POAG. Finally, a drug-gene network was constructed, and novel drugs for POAG treatment were proposed. Genes with p < 0.01 and |log fold change| > 0.3 (1,350 genes) were considered DEGs and utilized to construct a PPI network. Enrichment analysis yielded several key pathways that were upregulated or downregulated. For example, extracellular matrix organization, the immune system, neutrophil degranulation, and cytokine signaling were upregulated among immune pathways, while signal transduction, the immune system, extracellular matrix organization, and receptor tyrosine kinase signaling were downregulated. Finally, novel drugs including metformin hydrochloride, ixazomib citrate, and cisplatin warrant further analysis of their potential roles in POAG treatment. The candidate drugs identified in this computational analysis require in vitro and in vivo validation to confirm their effectiveness in POAG treatment. This may pave the way for understanding life-threatening disorders such as cancer.

  • 최근 많은 기업들은 효과적인 소프트웨어 프로세스 개선을 위해 SPICE와 CMMI 프로세스 심사 표준을 도입하려는 노력을 하고 있다. 이러한 표준을 통해 효과적인 개선하기 위해서는 개선점과 위험을 식별하고 이들 이슈들을 소프트웨어 개발환경(software development environment)에 적용시켜서 조직의 비젼(organization vision)에 대응한 작업성능(work performance)를 높여야한다. 지속적인 개선을 필요로 하는 조직은 현재의 작업성능을 측정하고 이를 개선하기 위한 개선점을 찾아내는 능력과 경험을 축적하여 체계적으로 관리하는 것이 중요하다. 하지만 기존의 SPI 모델들은 무엇을 수행해야 하는지에 대한 지침은 제공하고 있지만, 정량적인 작업성능 측정 및 특정 환경의 소프트웨어 개발 조직의 SPI를 위해 필요한 구체적인 지침을 제시하고 있지는 않다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 이러한 조직의 작업성능 측정 및 조직의 개선경험을 축적하여 프로세스를 개선전략에 반영하여 조직의 비젼에 최적한 전략을 제공해주는 OTEM(Opportunity Tree Enterprise Model)을 제안한다.
