  • The aim of this paper is to study order-congruences on a S-poset A and to characterize the order-congruences by the concepts of pseudooreders on A and quasi-chains module a congruence p. Some homomorphism theorems of S-posets are given which is similar to the one of ordered semigroups. Finally, It is shown that there exists the non-trivial order-congruence on a S-poset by an example.

Inverse Effects of Information: The Influence of Personality Congruence on Preference for High Technology Products

  • In today's society with its emphasis on unlimited information access, control of available information about high-technology products is often vital to their success. When a product is released, consumers may initially be attracted through information about its remarkable internal and external features. They may also perceive a degree of congruence between their own personalities and the product image as more information becomes available over time. Consumers' changing impressions of the product may influence personality congruence negatively or positively. These changes and their effects on preference for high-technology products are the focus of this paper. A survey was given to a sample of 206 students at K University to investigate the degree to which consumer behavior can be influenced by personality congruence. The need for clear and definite product knowledge in this process and the effect of product information on preference were also investigated. Three analyses were conducted. The results of Analysis 1 showed the influence of personality congruence on preference for high-technology products. Judgments about personality congruence were based on non-compensatory rather than compensatory information processing. The respondents considered certain aspects of a product's personality rather than the product as a whole when making preference decisions. The results of Analysis 2 indicated that when less information was available about a product, consumers who perceived high personality congruence with the product tended to have higher preference for it compared to those who perceived low personality congruence with the product. On the other hand, when consumers were given more information, no difference was observed in the impact of personality on preference between perceived high and low personality congruence. Lastly, the results of Analysis 3 showed that when consumers with high need for closure (NFC) perceived high congruence between their own personalities and a product, objective information regarding the product was not used in decision-making: instead, judgments about the product were based on perceived personality congruence. On the other hand, high-NFC consumers who perceived low personality congruence between themselves and the product tended to require more information about the product in order to give it a positive evaluation. In contrast, low-NFC consumers who perceived high personality congruence felt comfortable with large amounts of information. For low-NFC consumers who perceived low congruence, the level of information had no influence on preference.

  • In this paper, we generalize the notion of soft congruence relations from rings to semirings. We construct some examples in order to show that these relations exist over semirings. Some properties of these relations are investigated.

대학생의 전공-흥미 일치도, 스트레스대처방식과 학과적응도 간의 관계 (University Students' Major-interest agreement, the relationship between stress coping strategies and adaptation Department)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 전공-흥미 일치도, 스트레스대처방식과 학과적응 간에 어떠한 관계가 있는지 알아보고, Holland 일치성 가설에 위배되는 집단의 존재를 확인하기 위해 전공-흥미 일치도와 학과적응도 고저(高低)에 따른 네 집단 분류하였다. 또한 네 집단 간 스트레스대처방식의 차이를 확인하였다. 본 연구를 위해 4년제 대학교 재학생 321명을 대상으로 직업선호도검사(S형)의 직업적 흥미검사(일반성향검사), 스트레스대처방식검사(정유미, 2004), 학과적응척도(박성미, 2001)를 활용하여, 연구대상자의 일반적 특성, 전공-흥미 일치도, 스트레스대처방식에 대한 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 PASW Statistics Data Editor 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 상관분석, 중다회귀분석, 빈도분석, 공분산분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전공-흥미 일치도와 스트레스대처방식이 학과적응에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 일치도는 학과적응에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못하였으며, 스트레스대처방식 중 적극적 대처방식만 학과적응에 유의미한 영향을 나타내었다. 둘째, 전공-흥미 일치도와 학과적응도 고저에 따른 네 집단 분류를 한 결과 일치도가 높지만 학과적응도가 낮은 집단, 일치도가 낮지만 학과적응도가 높은 집단이 존재하고 있음을 확인하였다. 셋째, 전공-흥미 일치도와 학과적응도 고저에 따른 네 집단 간 스트레스대처방식의 차이를 확인한 결과, 집단 간 유의미한 차이가 발견되었다. 이러한 연구결과는 학과적응에 있어 전공-흥미 일치도 이외에 다른 요인도 고려해야 함을 나타내며, 특히 스트레스대처방식의 중요함을 보여준다. 따라서 학과적응 촉진을 위한 스트레스대처방식 훈련 및 프로그램 개발 등이 필요하다고 할 수 있다.

A Study on the Moderating Effect that Value Congruence Influences Organizational Performance

  • Purpose - This study examined the relationship between individual creativity and its related variables to observe how individual creativity contributes to organizational performance. In addition, this study strived to explore how to maximize the utilization of individual creativity and innovate the structure of the organization itself so that teams and organizations can respond more effectively to new rising trends. this study aimed to examine whether the value congruence between individuals and organizations (propensity congruence, goal congruence has a significant impact on knowledge sharing and innovation behavior as dependent variables by exerting individual creativity and synergy as independent variables. Research design, data and methodology - SPSS 24.0 program were used to analyze the data. Descriptive Statistics and correlation analysis were performed, and the reliability factor (Cronbach's α) was calculated. Afterwards, we analyzed the moderating effects of structural equation model analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. The number of samples used in the study were 309 copies. Results - First, Individual creativity had a positive effect on knowledge sharing and innovative behavior. In other words, it was confirmed that decision-making processes fused with individual creativity could create an atmosphere of knowledge sharing and transform the organization. Second, value congruence adjusted the influence of individual creativity on knowledge sharing and innovation behavior. Conclusions - First, it is important for managers to recognize the value and secure the pool of creative talents who will be a potential future basic source of organizational success and competitive advantage. Second, managers should be able to identify those with creative talents and expertise, and use them to increase their knowledge sharing performance, while also developing emotional and motivational creativity. Third, in order improve knowledge sharing performance, managers should pay attention to the emotional aspect of creativity. Fourth, managers should strive to create an environment that is beneficial for the reinforcement of individual self-management capabilities. Fifth, managers should be able to develop decision-making processes to develop potential creativity and encourage creative thinking, opinions, or solutions. Sixth, managers should promote the dissemination and integration of new knowledge based on the creative views and attitudes of team members.

조직의 정보보안 공정성이 개인의 정보보안 관련 가치 일치 및 제언 행동에 미치는 영향: 대인 간 영향 민감성의 적용 (The Impact of Information Security(IS) Organizational Justice on Employee IS Value Congruence and IS Voice Behavior: Exploring the Role of Susceptibility to Interpersonal Influence)

  • Purpose Recently, organizations have been allocating significant financial resources toward the implementation of new technologies and stringent information security (IS) policies in order to enhance IS. However, the potential for IS threats from internal sources within organizations remains high. This study proposes a mechanism whereby the organization's IS environment (organizational justice) enhances employees' perception of IS value congruence and encourages their voice behavior. Furthermore, this study validates that an individual's susceptibility to interpersonal influence can reinforce the relationship between the aforementioned factors and voice behavior. Design/methodology/approach We utilized AMOS 22.0 and Process 3.1 to validate the research model and hypotheses. The data was gathered from 435 employees employed in South Korean firms that implemented IS policies in their work. Structural equation modeling was employed to examine the relationship between organizational justice, value congruence, and voice behavior, and the interaction effect was confirmed by incorporating model 1 of Process 3.1 for the hypothesis pertaining to susceptibility to interpersonal influence. Findings The findings of this study indicate that organizational justice has a positive impact on voice behavior, which is further enhanced by value congruence. Furthermore, the influence of organizational justice and value congruence on voice behavior is moderated by susceptibility to information influence, while susceptibility to normative influence only moderates the effect of organizational justice. These results provide valuable insights for organizations in developing customized information systems strategies that effectively promote employees' voice behaviors.

자아이미지 일치성이 소매점자산과 고객의 재이용의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Retailer-Self Image Congruence on Retailer Equity and Repatronage Intention)

  • 최근 유통환경과 소비자 라이프스타일의 변화 속에서 단순히 제품을 판매하고 유통시키는 것에 그치는 것이 아닌 소매점자산을 증대시켜 고객을 획득하고 유지할 수 있는 차별화된 경쟁우위가 필요하게 되었으며, 이러한 대안으로 소매점 이미지의 중요성이 날로 커지고 있다. 이에 따라, 본 연구는 소매점의 이미지와 자아이미지 일치성이라는 요인과 고객기반 소매점자산과의 구조적관계를 조사하여 소비자들의 재이용의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 가장 큰 학문적 기여점은 소매점자산에 영향을 주는 자아이미지일치성이라는 선행 요인을 찾아내는데 있으며, 또한 소매점자산이 재이용의도에 강력한 선행요인임을 확인하는데 있어서 기존의 연구들이 보여준 Second-order Construct 유형의 소매점자산척도와 결과 변수간의 단일차원 인과관계가 아닌, 소매점자산을 구성하는 각각의 요인들과 재이용의도의 좀 더 구체적인 변수간의 구조적관계를 실증할 수 있게 되었다. 본 연구는 소매점과 자아의 이미지일치성을 두 가지 차원(실제 자아이미지일치성, 이상적 자아이미지일치성)으로 나누고 소매점자산의 구성요소인 소매점인지, 소매점연상, 지각된 소매점 품질, 소매점충성도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 분석하고 자아이미지일치성을 토대로 평가된 소매점자산 요인들이 소매점의 재이용의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 소매점의 이미지의 관리와 투자에 대한 마케팅 측면의 중요성을 제시하고 있다. 연구모델에 대한 분석결과 소매점-실제 자아이미지일치성과 소매점-이상적 자아이미지일치성 모두 모두 소매점자산 요인들에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 그 중 이상적 자아이미지일치성이 소매점자산 요인들에 미치는 상대적인 영향력이 더 크게 나타났다. 또한 소매점자산을 구성하는 각각의 요인들은 소비자의 소매점 재이용의도에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 타겟 소비자들의 자아 이미지와 소매점의 상징적 이미지를 일치시키는 마케팅 노력을 통해 소비자들과 소매점 사이의 강력한 감정적 결속이 형성되어 해당 소매점의 자산을 높게 평가하고 지속적인 이용의도를 가져올 수 있음을 시사한다.

컬러 불일치가 브랜드 태도에 미치는 영향: 자아이미지 일치성의 조절효과를 고려하여 (The Effect of Color Incongruity on Brand Attitude: Moderating Effect of Self-Image Congruence)

  • 본 연구는 통합적 브랜드 관리에 있어 매체 간 컬러의 불일치가 브랜드 태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며, 브랜드-소비자 자아 일치성이 이 영향에 조절적 효과를 가져 온다는 가정을 실험을 통해 증명하였다. 매체는 컬러의 영향을 살펴보기 위하여 시각적 영향이 부각되는 매체로 제한하였으며, 컬러 이외의 시각적 요인은 일관되도록 하였고, 브랜드에 대한 친숙도가 낮은 브랜드, 브랜드에 대한 이전의 지식이 없는 브랜드를 대상으로 하였다. 결과는 매체 간 컬러의 불일치에 따른 브랜드 태도는 컬러의 일관성에 따른 브랜드 태도에 비해 높게 나타났으며, 브랜드-소비자의 자아일치가 낮은 경우에 높은 경우보다 태도의 변화가 높게 나타나 가설이 모두 지지되었다. 이 결과는 브랜드의 관리적 요소로서 브랜드 표현, 즉 시각적 요인 중 컬러를 통하여 브랜드에 대한 인식을 높이고, 긍정적인 브랜드 태도를 형성할 수 있다는 것을 제안하였다는 것에 의의가 있다. 또한 본 연구는 브랜드 관리자의 직관에 의지하던 브랜드 표현의 일관성과 다양성의 수준이 일반적 의식보다 더 폭넓다는 것을 실증적으로 증명하고, 이전의 연구에서 성숙브랜드(mature brand)를 리포지셔닝 repositioning)하는 전략으로만 연구되었던 불일치를 신생 브랜드의 인지를 높이기 위한 전략으로 그 범위를 확장시켰다고 할 수 있다.

  • Purpose: How to build the attitude on brand is very important, because it affects the positive word of mouth and revisit intention. Brand attachment, brand name, and image congruence play important role on consumer behavior in terms of reinforcing consumers' perception of food service companies and differentiating them from competing brands. Following the planned behavior theory, this paper examines the effect of linking brand attitude to word-of-mouth and revisit intentions in the restaurant sector. Research design, data, and methodology: This paper examines the structural relationship among brand attachment, brand name, image congruence, brand attitude, WOM, and revisit intention. In order to test the purposes of this study, research model and hypotheses were developed. The questionnaire items were modified and used according to the content of this study based on previous studies. All constructs were measured by multiple items tested and developed in the previous research. The study is based on the quantitative method and considered 519 questionnaires fulfilled by customers of restaurants. The data were explored employing the partial least square-structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). Frequency analysis was conducted to identify the general characteristics of the survey subjects. To measure the reliability and validity of the measurement tools, confirmatory factor analysis was conducted. Structural model analysis was conducted to verify the research model. Result: The findings demonstrate that brand attachment and brand name had positive effects on attitude while image congruence did not have. Also, attitude had positive effect on WOM and revisit intention. Conclusions: This study expands the literature about WOM and revisit intentions. This study expands prior research in a similar field to which the theory of planned behavior (TPB) is applied, and reveals that brand attachment, brand name, and brand image congruence play an important role in developing brand attitude that affect revisit intention and WOM. And provide guidelines on how to enhance competitiveness in the restaurant sector based on understanding of linking brand attitude to customer loyalty and repeat business. By putting into practice these suggestions in the restaurant industry, brands can easily build up their attitude and boost a positive WOM and the intention to revisit.

A Business Model of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises: A Case Study of the Textile and Clothing Industry in Thailand

  • The purposes of this research were: 1) to analyze the confirmatory factors with the business operational model of entrepreneurs of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the textile and clothing industry, and 2) to verify the congruence of the model with the operational ways of the entrepreneurs of SMEs in the textile and clothing industry. The sample consisted of 500 small and medium enterprise entrepreneurs in the textile and clothing industry. This study was quantitative research and the instrument used to collect the data was a questionnaire. The data was analyzed using 1st order and 2nd order of confirmatory analysis (CFA). The findings of this research revealed that the model of SMEs in the textile and clothing industry was overall at a high level. Four main factors were used for the model of SMEs in the textile and clothing industry by their importance in descending order as follows: marketing mix (MM), collaboration network (CN), production inventory management (PIM), and creativity (CT). The results of verification of model congruence revealed the model of SMEs in the textile and clothing industry was fit and in accordance with the empirical data.
