The accurate radiative transfer model simulation is essential for an accurate ozone profile retrieval using optimal estimation from backscattered ultraviolet (BUV) measurement. The input parameters of the radiative transfer model are the main factors that determine the model accuracy. In particular, meteorological parameters such as temperature and surface pressure have a direct effect on simulating radiation spectrum as a component for calculating ozone absorption cross section and Rayleigh scattering. Hence, a sensitivity of UV ozone profile retrievals to these parameters has been investigated using radiative transfer model. The surface pressure shows an average error within 100 hPa in the daily / monthly climatological data based on the numerical weather prediction model, and the calculated ozone retrieval error is less than 0.2 DU for each layer. On the other hand, the temperature shows an error of 1-7K depending on the observation station and altitude for the same daily / monthly climatological data, and the calculated ozone retrieval error is about 4 DU for each layer. These results can help to understand the obtained vertical ozone information from satellite. In addition, they are expected to be used effectively in selecting the meteorological input data and establishing the system design direction in the process of applying the algorithm to satellite operation.
This study was accomplished to compare energy saving effects of several heat insulation materials in greenhouse and to develop new automatic opening and closing equipment which is suitable to the most effective heat insulation material. To find out more effective heat insulation material, the magnitude of heat transfer occurred through aluminum screen (ALS), non-woven fabric (NWF), double-layer aluminum screen with chemical cotton sheet (DAL), and multi-layer fabric screen material quilted with non-woven fabric, chemical cotton, poly foam, and polypropylene (MLF) were compared relatively. The results showed that the relative magnitude of heat transfer occurred through MLF was lower than DAL and ALS by 23.3% and 43.0% respectively. MLF screen material was the most effective compared with other heat insulation materials. But because of thickness, there was a need of new mechanism for automatic operation in greenhouse. Accordingly, new screen system using MLF-thick but profitable for keeping warm in greenhouse-was developed. Opening & closing equipment was designed to roll MLF with pipe axis during opening process and pull MLF with string during closing process with electric motors, clutches, drums, and so on. In hot pepper cultivation and energy saving test during winter time, the early stage yield of pepper under MLF screen system was higher than NWF by 27%, and gasoline consumption of MLF screen system was lower than NWF by 46%.

The previous studies of online entrepreneurship education were conducted only on the effect of education on actual entrepreneurship, but did not analyze the effectiveness of education. In this study, beyond of limits of previous studies, we investigated the effect of social presence on learning expectancy and educational satisfaction. In addition, we examined the influence of learning expectation on the relationship between social presence and educational satisfaction. For the research hypothesis test, we conducted a questionnaires survey on 189 graduate students who taken online courses related to entrepreneurship, hypothesis and questionnaires were made based on the research hypotheses precedent theories. And educational satisfaction was divided into operational satisfaction and content satisfaction. As a results of the analysis using the structural equation model, social presence has a positive effects on learning expectancy. Next, the learning expectancy has a positive effects on the operational satisfaction and the content satisfaction. Finally, when social presence affects operational satisfaction, learning expectation has a complete mediation effects and content satisfaction has a partial mediation effects. The implications of the results of this study were as follows. There was a need for a way to interacted with learners when conducted online entrepreneurial education. When increased the satisfaction level of the learning operation, it is necessary to reduced the burden of learners and raised the expectancy.

In the US, the number of cases of subterranean water contamination from tritium leaking through a damaged buried nuclear power plant pipe continues to increase, and the degradation of the buried metal piping is emerging as a major issue. A pipe blocked from corrosion and/or degradation can lead to loss of cooling capacity in safety-related piping resulting in critical issues related to the safety and integrity of nuclear power plant operation. The ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes Committee (BPVC) has recently approved Code Case N-755 that describes the requirements for the use of polyethylene (PE) pipe for the construction of Section III, Division 1 Class 3 buried piping systems for service water applications in nuclear power plants. This paper contains tensile and slow crack growth (SCG) test results for high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe welds under the environmental conditions of a nuclear power plant. Based on these tests, the fracture surface of the PENT specimen was analyzed, and the fracture mechanisms of each fracture area were determined. Finally, by using 3D finite element analysis, limit loads of HDPE related to premature failure were verified.

Smart sensors embedable in composite wind turbine blades have been required to be researched for monitoring the health status of large wind turbine blades during real-time operation. In this research, the feasibility of packaged FBG sensor probes was studied through the experiments of composite blade trailing edge specimens in order to detect cracking and debonding damages. The instants of cracking and debonding generated in the shear web were confirmed by rapid changes of the wavelength shifts from the bare FBG sensor probes. Packaged FBG sensor probes were proposed to remove the fragile property of bare FBG sensor probes attached on composite wind blade specimens. Strain and temperature sensitivity of fabricated probes installed on the skin of blade specimen were almost equal to those of a bare FBG sensor. Strain sensitivity was measured to be ${\mu}{\varepsilon}$/pm in a strain range from to 0 to 600 ${\mu}{\varepsilon}$, and the calculated temperature sensitivity was to be 48 pm/$^{\circ}C$ in the heating test up to 80 degree.
The purpose of this study is to identify the status of school health and analyze affecting factors of school nurses' self confidence and nursing activities of the secondary school in Seoul. The data was collected from 13th of August to 30th of October. The self reported questionairs were distributed during one of the school nurses seminars held in Seoul and 93 secondary school nurses answered. Analysis of the data was done utilizing SPSS for percentage, mean, T-test ANOVA and Pearson Correlation Coefficients. The results of study are summerized as follows; 1. General Characteristics The mean age of the subjects was 33.4 and mean length of experience as a school nurse was 7.3 years. 79.5 percent of them had clinical experiences and the mean clinic experience was 2.1 years. The majority of them were graduate of the baccalaureate nursing programs and 82.8 percent of them were married. 72.0 percent of the sample had religion, and 60.2 percent of them were in the national or public schools. 90.3 percent of them had independent duty. 2. The status of school health resources In average, there were 2,445 students, 37 classes and 63 teachers per school nurse. 48.4 percent of them were aware of the school budget. The budget for school health was 585,000 won per school in average. 30.0 percent of the schools had school health organization. The schools whose health clinics were on the first floor consisted of 79.3 percent, among them 42.9 percent were on the center of the building office. 3. Activities of school health nursing The average number of students using health clinic were 430 per month. The majority of the problem was digestive problem. There were 7.5 times of mean correspondences with parents per year. The activities of the school nurses were clinic management (29.0%), health care services (23.5%) and health education (14.1%). 4. The degrees of self confidence of the school nurse and nursing activities Self confidence measured by 6 items of self-reported questionaires scored by 4 point Likert Scale revealed. The nurses' self-confidence was 2.922 in clinic management, 2.909 in health education, 2.759 in program planning and evaluation, 2.757 in health care services, 2.692 in management of school environment, and 2.250 in operation of school health organization. The nursing activities scored by 2 point. The nursing activities was 1,870 in program planning and evaluation, 1.853 in health education, 1.843 in clinic management, 1.739 in health care services, 1.696 in management of school environment and 1.265 in operating of school health organization. 5. Factors affecting self confidence and nursing activities of school nurses The general characteristics of the school nurses and the school health resources were related to self confidence and nursing activities. The most significant variable to nurses' self confidence was type of the school ownership and the presence of school health organization was the most significant factor to nursing activities.
Signal timing transition has recently been highlighted with Adaptive Traffic Control Systems (ATCS) providing advanced traffic signal operation including real-time grouping of coordinated intersections. Signal timing transition occurs when such signal timings as cycles and offsets are changed at coordinated intersections. Setting a proper length of signal timing transition has become in interest for real-time coordination. This paper presents a study verifying the effects of different lengths of signal timing transition. Four different transition lengths were tested and compared in simulation environment. They include a single, double, treble, quadruple cycle length transitions. The number of cycles represents the ones used (interpolation) for transition. Signal timings were controlled to be adjusted uniformly and discretely during a transition period. Transition times considered in the test are within ranges of ${\pm}20$ percents of cycle lengths. It was found from the study that a single cycle transition performs better than or at least equal to the ones from the other with fifteen different operational conditions, which are developed based on a hypothetical arterial. It was suggested that a single cycle length transition be beneficial when amount of transition is within ${\pm}20$ percents of cycle lengths.
The objective of this study was to determine the effect of exercise on a hemiparkinsonian rat model. Nigrostriatal dopamine cell lesions were produced by injecting 6-hydroxydopamine at the left medial forebrain bundle of rats. In this study, the rats were divided into the following 4 groups: the control group without any exercise, experimental group I with aqua-exercise (Exp I), experimental group II with balance exercise (Exp II) and experimental group III with complex exercise (aqua-exercise+balance exercise; (Exp III)). Exercises were applied to all the experimental groups after the operation. In order to observe the dopaminergic cell loss, we assessed the level of tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) expression in the midbrain of rats, and performed the apomorphine-induced rotation test at postoperative days (PDs) 7, 14, and 21. Experimental groups had significantly higher TH-immunoreactivity and behavioral performance than the control group. However, there was no difference in TH-immunoreactivity and behavioral performance across the experimental groups. These results suggest that the application of aqua-exercise and balance exercise could suppress dopaminergic cell loss in the substantia nigra of rat brains and could increase behavioral recovery in hemiparkinsonian rats.

This paper investigated the membrane fouling potential at the state of passive adsorption which is no permeation with the test modules on COD (Chemical oxygen demand) loading rates, examined the recovery rate and resistance on membrane fouling by three cleaning manners of hydrophobic membrane in a bioreactor. The results showed that high COD loading led to the increase of extra-cellular polymeric substances and filtration resistance. The permeability resistance from 1st day to 63rd day was getting increased, however, the value of permeability resistance after 63th day during the operation period was almost same level at three COD loading rates, it was due that the biomass adhesion on membrane surface at the state of passive adsorption reached to the critical state. Also, the final recovery rates after three cleaning manners were 78%, 72% and 69% at the COD loading concentrations of 250 mg/L, 500 mg/L and 750 mg/L respectively, and then recovery rate by physical cleaning at Run 2 and Run 3 was decreased after 40th day, it proved that biomass cake, which is not easily removed, was formed on the membrane surface because of high COD loading rate and EPS concentration.

In order to treat electrolysis nickel plating pickling wastewater to meet the effluent limit less than 3.0 mg/L, the electrolysis process by using soluble and insoluble electrode were studied. Electrolysis using soluble electrodes has a characteristic of easy elution from the electrode which the insoluble electrodes close not release metal from the electrode. For these reasons, there exist different characteristics in nickel removal efficiency, purity of nickel sludge. With this connection, the feasibility test were concluded to develop optimal conditions for the treatment of pickling wastewater electrolysis by using soluble electrodes, insoluble electrodes. Optimal condition of current density, pH were derived from the pickling wastewater using insoluble electrodes. It was concluded the highest removal efficiency of nickel at the operation condition of at pH 9, current density of $15mA/cm^2$. At these conditions, 95.3% purity of nickel sludge was achieved, iron content was 2.9%. Optimal condition when using soluble electrodes was derived current density of $10mA/cm^2$, pH 9. Purity of nickel sludge was 77.3%, iron content was 21.0%. 50.7% and 24.2% of operating cost can be saved by the use of soluble electrodes and the use of insoluble electrodes, respectively.
