The purpose of this study is a presentation of long term strategies for hereafter hospital's remodeling and new constructions with grabbing in the characters of various spaces and ways of remodeling on wards which have been remodeled according to periods(the opening, before remodeling, after remodeling, new construction). The targets are three remodeled hospitals and four resent hospitals. And also the hospitals are divided as beds, additional hospital facilities, day room, doctor's and staff dining room, public space(corridor, core, duct) etc. The analEis of this study explains changes of wards through the characters expressed by remodeling on the specific functions (beds, additional hospital facilities, day room, doctor's and staff dining room, public space etc.) Following the research, the study has kept going to understanding of problems and limitations of improvement on remodeling wards. Finally, this researcher looked for suggestions on the planning of wards.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the spatial use pattern changes over time in skilled nursing facility. The investigation had been executed against the elderly(65 and over) in skilled nursing facility. This article discuss the basic characteristics of the elderly with dementia and the daily living activities of the elderly with dementia at skilled nursing facility in Jangseong-gun. The survey was repeated 2 times at the period of 61 months and 88 months after the opening of the facility. Changes over time of the spatial use patterns are clarified. Some results show as follows: (1)As the time went by, there is wide difference between behavioral places and nursing levels on the living activities of the elderly with dementia. (2)As the time went by, the elderly who have a tendency to stay in his bedroom through the greater part of the days.

This study focuses on the growth and development of small and medium industries of Korea, orienting to the development of up-to-date technology from now on and bolstering their competitive ability in the rapidly changing international markets. For this purpose, the small and medium industries should 1) develop high-level manpower of up-to-date technology, 2) make constant efforts to categorize and divide the fields of technology with big business groups to boost their competitiveness, 3) raise automation rate by turning all facilities into mechatronics, 4) positively develop software know-how, 5) jointly conduct researches in cooperation with venture capital and Governmental research institute, 6) categorize an systematize the industries. On the Governmental level, there should be 1) wide-ranging support and assistance in technology, finance, and the facilities, 2) positive opening of consumer market, 3) assistance in technical cooperation with other nations, 4) and such indirect assistance as fostering the fields of related technology.

Recently, it is not to much to say that the world of hospital architecture in Korea is in a time of transition that undergo big changes. Each hospital pursues their transformation not only for patiences' changing demands on medical services but to cope with rapid environmental changes that pouring like boundless competition, opening tendency and to get an advantage of competition to attract patiences with other hospitals. It is because national expectations and standards on medical services have risen and they are not satisfied with hospitals that run for doctors and medical care that served technically any more. With rising interests in health, it is emphasized not the functions of hospitals to prevent diseases but the purpose of treatment and securing other facilities according to rising economical incomes except medical facilities.

The library of elementary schools, which plays a role in the basic education to grow a responsible social member in an information society and to develop ability for collection, selection, summary, and utilization of various information, could be considered as new educational center. It should be changed to the establishment of informational education for preparing the information society in 21st century through the functional extension of the conventional library as reading and bookstand. Furthermore, it is necessary of trials that converts to the support system for interchange between establishment and student, for preparing educational system of teaching or studying, and for opening establishment to local communities in the future.

전력산업의 공개정책에 따라 이미 발전분야를 6개 회사로 분할한데 이어, 배전설비도 2003년에 완전 공개하는 것을 원칙으로 발표한바 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이같이 가속화되는 개방화에 대비하여 전력 공급의 저렴화, 양질화, 안정화등 전력공급자의 궁극적 목표를 실현하기 위하여 필요한 관리기술을 설비투자면, 기자재 및 공법의 효율화면, 전력품질 신뢰도 향상면, 작업환경의 향상면 및 환경보전 측면에서 각각 살펴보았다.

Microsurgery training in Singapore began in 1980 with the opening of the Experimental Surgical Unit. Since then, the unit has continued to grow and have held microsurgical training courses biannually. The road to becoming a full-fledged reconstructive surgeon requires the mastering of both microvascular as well as flap raising techniques and requires time, patience and good training facilities. In Singapore, over the past 2 decades, we have had the opportunity to develop good training facilities and to refine our surgical education programmes in reconstructive microsurgery. In this article, we share our experience with training in reconstructive microsurgery.

Korea became the 5th country by opening the Kyungbu-Highspeed Railway in April of 2004, which has contributed to technical innovations and motivated to increase SOC investment for the Railroad facilities. This increase of Railroad facilities will need the many railroad civil engineers who are in charge of construction and maintenance. Moreover, we need more qualitative engineers to catch up with the speed of technical renovation and to play an important role in exporting our railroad technique to outside country such as China, and Russia. In this paper, a new alternative of training railroad civil engineers will be investigated in relation to NURI Project, which is sponsored by Ministy of Education.

Like in other trade negotiations covering comprehensive sectors, it is reported that KOREA-US FTA tried so-called 'package deal' at the last minutes, when telecom services sector was positioned at the forefront and expected to partly play a role in buffering US' market-opening pressure on other sectors. Before everything else, Korean negotiators had to enhance the value of foreign ownership deregulation in telecom services sector as a leverage in the course of KOREA-US FTA negotiations. In addition, since foreign ownership change, if any, is highly sensitive issue either politically or policy-wise, it seems very difficult to find a breakthrough. Focusing on foreign ownership regulation in telecom services sector, this paper seeks how Korea has developed its strategic reasoning for negotiations and evaluates the outcomes of KOREA-US FTA negotiations.

Although Jeju is the best cruise Secondary port in Northeast Asia, currently there are no dedicated cruise terminals. The port international passenger terminal opened in 2015 has a ferry terminal for offshore passengers and a cruise passenger function. Jeju Island is therefore constructing a cruise only terminal with the aim of opening in 2018 to meet the growing passenger demand at the Seoguipo civilian and public ports along with construction of a naval base at Gangjeong Port in Seogwipo City. It also plans to build cruise docks and cruise terminals in the Jeju New Port according to the Jeju port construction basic plan. However, during the construction and planning process of cruise terminals in Jeju, the adequacy of the terminal size is being debated and the immigration facilities are being operated. Therefore, the study analyzed the size of terminals and operation of immigration facilities appropriate for cruise passenger demand by investigating the status of cruise related facilities and operation in Jeju area. Based on this, the Commission hopes to explore the rational direction of the cruise terminal plan to revive the cruise industry in Jeju and provide high quality service to cruise passengers.
