Smart City is the regional innovation platform that actively utilizes information and communication technologies to diversify city services and improve the performance and quality, hence improving the quality of life and creating new trends of urban activities. Recently, the importance of citizen participation is increasingly emphasized to build smart cities successfully and the Living Lab, an open innovation platform led by users, is taking center stage as a means of realizing it. Accordingly, this study aims to establish the plans for popularizing living labs that provide innovative environments for domestic smart cities. To this end, first of all, political trends related to domestic smart cities' living labs were analyzed, and then, individual characteristics and development processes of the relevant cases were investigated. In addition, in-depth interviews were conducted with the experts of specialized agencies from Netherlands, Finland, and Denmark, etc. which are considered as leading countries in smart cities' living labs. As a result, in order to popularize living labs in domestic smart cities, the following policies were proposed; establishing support systems for commercialization and dissemination, building intermediary support organizations, improvement of laws and institutions, establishing the joint response systems with neighboring areas, etc.

In this paper, we propose CANVAS (Creative ANalytics enVironment And System), an analytics system of the National Research Data Platform (DataON). CANVAS is a personalized analytics cloud service for researchers who need computing resources and tools for research data analysis. CANVAS is designed in consideration of scalability based on micro-services architecture and was built on top of open-source software such as eGovernment Standard framework (Spring framework), Kubernetes, and JupyterLab. The built system provides personalized analytics environments to multiple users, enabling high-speed and large-capacity analysis by utilizing high-performance cloud infrastructure (CPU/GPU). More specifically, modeling and processing data is possible in JupyterLab or GUI workflow environment. Since CANVAS shares data with DataON, the research data registered by users or downloaded data can be directly processed in the CANVAS. As a result, CANVAS enhances the convenience of data analysis for users in DataON and contributes to the sharing and utilization of research data.

This paper shows a small and low-powered wireless communication system based on the ATSC broadcasting system using the ISM frequency band that can be used as a PBS(Personal Broadcasting System). It is designed to demonstrate a channel-adaptive CR(Cognitive Radio) system to provide a better service quality in the unlicensed band where co-channel interference exists. And it achieved very reliable communications by a closed-loop active phased array antenna. This ATSC-based personal broadcasting platform can be modified easily with given flexibility by using GNU Radio as an open-source signal processing platform based on USRP and implementing additional functions in FPGA. In addition, the chosen communication frequency resource can be managed and controlled by the return channel that transmits the channel status and communication parameters between transmission and reception in real-time.

In this paper, we propose a function and service of the Disaster Crisis Alert Management System that automatically analyzes the situation judgment criteria to issue a disaster crisis alert and a plan to operate in the National Disaster Management System(NDMS). In the event of a disaster, a crisis alert(interest-caution-alert-serious) is issued according to the crisis alert level. In order to automatically analyze and determine the crisis alert level, first, data collection, crisis alert level analysis, crisis alert level judgment, and disaster crisis alert management system that expresses the crisis alert level by spatial scale(province, city, district) were implemented. The crisis alert level was analyzed and expressed in two ways by applying the intelligent crisis alert level(determination of regional sensitivity, risk level, and crisis alert level) and the crisis alert standard of the crisis management manual(province-level standard setting). Second, standard metadata, linkage of situation information of target) and API standards for data provision are presented to jointly utilize data linkage and crisis alert data of the disaster and safety data sharing platform so that it can be operated within the NDMS.

This study takes a close look at the recent success of independent documentaries to find its implications and a way to invigorate Korean documentary ecosystems. To this aim, this study performed in-depth interviews with independent documentary film makers and television documentary directors. Also, it analyzed the case of POV (Point Of View), which is television's longest-running showcase for independent documentary films in the USA. The results display that independent documentaries convey competitive edge of contents and expansion of distribution and funding through film industry systems, based on the producer systems, global distribution networks of overseas pitching and film festivals, marketing and audience strategy of film industry. Although this shows its molding of documentary industry ecosystems, there are great needs for various platforms other than film industrial outlet in order to make an advancement of the ecosystems under the digital environment. POV works on the basis of 'open sourcing' form when collaborating with independent film makers. Independent documentaries picked up by POV are aired on PBS, streamed via its online service, and distributed through community screenings; this three-outlet strategy makes POV a unique platform and has a relevance and feasibility to apply for Korean documentary ecosystems. Therefore, this study suggests to create a platform adopting POV system hoping that more studies and efforts would come for various and novel platform building so to make more advanced and invigorated ecosystems of Korean documentary.

In this paper, we implement a wireless home monitoring system using physical computing platform with the open source type for house environment management. Sensors for temperature, optics and ultrasonic waves are used for home environment elements detection and control for the home safety. To obtain information related with home and transmit it to RIA Windows server system, XBee wireless communication system is used and the transmitted information is saved in mySQL database for history management. The possibility of prevention against fire disaster of a house situated in a dense buildings area and highly populated environments is suggested by adopting the proposed system.

지리정보의 중요성이 널리 인식되고 사회 각 분야에서 지리정보에 대한 수요가 날로 증가되고 다양해지고 있지만 GIS의 개발, 설치, 유지, 보수의 어려움에 따른 고가의 비용과 시장에 대한 적응력부족으로 GIS의 광범위한 활용이 저해 받고 있는 실정이다. 또한, 개인을 위한 GIS 서비스나 응용프로그램의 하나의 기능 컴포넌트로서의 GIS 서비스가 GIS의 주류로 발전할 것으로 예측되고 있지만 이를 지원하기 위한 GIS 개발, 배포 모델과 기반기술이 결여되어 있다. 그러나, 사용자가 월 정액요금을 지불하고 인터넷 또는 인트라넷을 통하여 ASP (Application Service Provider)에 의해 원격 중앙 서버에 설치, 관리되고 있는 소프트웨어 응용프로그램을 사용하는 형식은 혁신적인 소프트웨어 개발과 배포 모델로서 차세대 컴퓨터 환경의 기초로 각광 받고 있으며 이를 GIS에 적용할 때 GIS의 광범위한 응용과 원활한 유통을 크게 추진할 것으로 기대된다. 그러므로, 현시점에서 GIS ASP를 위한 합리적인 모델과 이에 근거한 소프트웨어 플랫폼에 대한 연구와 개발이 절실히 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 ASP 환경 하에서 더욱 신속하고 편리한 GIS 개발, 통합, 배포를 가능하게 하고 보다 나은 질의 GIS ASP 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 마이크로소프트의 ASP 플랫폼인 .NET 기반의 3 계층 GIS ASP 모델을 중심으로 하는 GIS ASP 소프트웨어 플랫폼의 설계를 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to review the process for the trade settlement system between all parties involved in the commercial transaction under SURF System. SURF application is the latest value added service from bolero.net and a fully automated documentary settlement system. It extends bolero.net's capability to enable trade transactions by providing a delivery versus payment system. It has been designed as a standard, shared, infrastructure component for handling trade settlement within an electronic environment to keep step with the operation of electronic Bolero bill of Lading. It exploits the services provided by the Bolero Core Messaging Platform - secure, guaranteed transactions based on boleroXML standards to provide document compliance services with optional bank guarantees. So, SURF system can automatically check all commonly used trade documents such as commercial invoices, bills of lading and certificates of weight and analysis, etc and supports a full range of settlement options including Open Account, Documentary Collections, Documentary Credit. 58 have key features as follows, ① automatic document compliance checking, ② integrated with the Title Registry, ③ supports various forms of vender financing, ④ governed by a set of legally binding rules, ⑤ fully prepared for Straight-Through-Processing, ⑥ Enabled compliance with UCP 500.

Purpose One of the main characteristics of Social Network Service(SNS) is that users in an open space makes posts through voluntary participation and sharing among them. This makes SNS a very attractive channel to companies that need to send their messages to consumers. As a matter of fact, there are many companies doing marketing activities through a platform of Fan Page as a space for corporations and consumers to act together. This study defines the values and types of companies' advertising posts on Facebook, empirically analyzes the results of them, and investigates factors that could enhance the customer engagement. Design/methodology/approach A research model was built to demonstrate which values and types of posts were combined by corporations' posts on Facebook and create their messages and which of those combinations would lead to high results of customer engagement. Findings The results show differences in the values of posts between the group of high customer engagement and the other group on Facebook. This study makes its contribution by conducting elaborate analysis of posts on Facebook and thus proposing marketing strategies that companies, which had difficulties with systematic marketing activities due to cost limitations, could use on Facebook.

This paper presents development of a management system for the health and diseases of the elderly. This study aimed to the promotion of the u-healthcare industry and to the increase in its competitive power by developing and expanding a system for managing the health and diseases of the elderly, in cooperation with u-healthcare companies. The study is underway through the following four substudies. In the first substudy titled development of the bio-signal collection and analysis technology using smart media, a technology that supports the collection of bio-signals in the elderly using portable terminals. In the second substudy titled development of the patient-specific healthcare platform expansion and enhancement technology, a technology is being developed for making medical decisions and taking measures based on the results of the processing of the collected bio-signals. In the third substudy titled development of the N-screen based healthcare contents open service technology, a technology is being developed to provide information on health, diseases, and medicine to platforms. In the fourth substudy titled development of the oriental medicine diagnosis and analysis technology for senile diseases. This study is expected to help ensure an excellent workforce and new technologies in the healthcare sector using smart phones, and to help reduce medical expenses by improving the health of citizens.
