본 논문에서는 윈도우(Windows) 기반의 데스크탑 환경에서, 특히 컴퓨터 게임에 관련된 응용 프로그램들에서 활발하게 사용되는 Direct3D가 제공하는 핵심적인 기능들과 함수들을 리눅스 환경에서 OpenGL 라이브러리를 기반으로 에뮬레이션 형태로 제공하고자 한다. 리눅스(Linux) 운영 체제 하에서는 일반적으로 X 윈도우 시스템과 OpenGL 라이브러리만 사용 가능한 컴퓨터 그래픽스 환경이 제공된다. 이 상황에서는, 우선적으로 윈도우 기반의 PC에서 Direct3D를 기반으로 개발된 게임 프로그램들이나 사용자 인터페이스 등을 컨버전하는 변환 작업에서 이러한 에뮬레이션 환경이 반드시 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 DirectX 9.0을 기준으로, 많이 사용되는 함수들을 선별하여 이들을 지원함으로써, 최종적인 전체 구현의 프로토타입을 확보하였다. 본 논문의 구현은 3차원 좌표 변환(3D coordinate transformation), 광원 및 재질(light & material), 텍스처 매핑(texture mapping), 애니메이션(animation) 등을 지원하여, 이를 이용하여 다양한 응용 프로그램 예제들과 실제 게임 캐릭터의 애니메니션 스크립트를 성공적으로 실행하여, 유용성을 입증하였다.

Due to an inability to accommodate for the rapidly increasing number of printed materials, Korean academic libraries are facing serious space shortage problems. Very few academic institutions have the funds to expand existing libraries or construct new facilities in order to accommodate the influx of printed materials. Despite not having the luxury to create new space, many establishments continue to implement the open access system. Seeing that such a system is only user friendly when used in a spacious facility, the maintenance of the open access system is unreasonable. Only few libraries consider the space efficient closed access system which helps to resolve storage space shortage. In the current state of the problem, improving the efficiency to which books are stored in existing storage areas within a library facility is the only appropriate solution. Enacting methods to improve physical space utilization within a fixed volume library facility will undoubtedly diminish the space shortage issue at hand. In this article, several space efficiency improvement approaches are discussed. Methods of book storage plan re-layout (floor, plan, ceiling, height, bookshelf design), book arrangement possibilities, and the reduction of the physical volume of reserved materials are each examined.

본 연구는 지역사회에의 개방이 대학도서관의 당연한 의무로 인식되고 있는 현 시점에서 외부이용자에게 도서관을 개방하고 있는 대학도서관의 외부이용자 이용 현황과 실태를 분석하여, 개방으로 인해 대학도서관이 직면하게 된 문제점을 파악하였다. 그리하여 문제 해결을 위한 대안으로 외부이용자에 대한 회원제제도의 도입, 지역의 공공도서관과 자원공용을 위한 협정체결로 대학도서관과 공공도서관의 역할 분담, 외부이용자에 대한 이용자교육 강화, 외부이용자에 대한 출입관리 등을 제안하였다.

오픈액세스 정책은 각 기관의 오픈액세스 프로젝트의 성공적 수행을 위해 매우 중요하다. 본 논문은 대학의 오픈액세스 정책수립시 규정되어야 할 요소들을 제안하기 위하여 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 국내 세 개 대학의 기관리포지토리 운영 정책과 ROARMAP에 등록된 대학의 오픈액세스 정책문서를 분석한 뒤 대학의 오픈액세스 정책 수립시 규정되어야 할 요소들을 제안하였다. 제안된 요소영역은 크게 제출자료영역, 제출시기, 제출자, 저작권, 요구수준, 예외, 이용, 오픈액세스 방법, 지원 등 9개영역이며 이들 각 영역에 대한 세부사항들 30개를 제안하였다.

Recently, the Ministry of Education is striving to move education and school libraries toward the information age and to create an atmosphere open education. School libraries need to be furnished with lots of useful materials for the curriculum of open education. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. 1. Nonprofit organizations such as school libraries should adopt the concepts and techniques of marketing to solve the problems for the rational management of the system. 2. Marketing techniques can be adopted in the areas such as collection development, service fee, selection of the place of library, advertising, better library user organization etc. 3. School libraries should be total educational information centers to realize educational goal and the curricular. 4. Procedures for marketing strategies for school libraries are embodied in mission statement, environmental analysis, marketing audit, marketing mix, marketing segmentation, evaluation methods etc. 5. The 4 "Ps", product, price, place, promotion make up the marketing mix for school libraries.libraries.

The opportunity provided for design method and strategy of community space for secondary school through the experience of public library and gallery, is the purpose of this paper. Community space is an important issue in school architecture as it seeks to revive the public area in educational building and to renew the open space as a multi-entertainment space. The latest works of school, however, which are evaluated as well reflected the reality of educational patterns, are still deficient in that communicational elements in school are underdeveloped and inadequate. The cases of this paper, which are grown up as entertainment library and multi-purpose cultural space such as Seattle Public Library, Sendai Mediatech, Tate Modem Gallery, and Kunsthaus, are suitable to offer the method of the creation of community space for school. This paper reviews an assessment of its success in community space for school architecture with multi-entertainment-purpose library and cultural space connected open space and concludes with the establishment of design method for future school; extraction of the factors contributing to development of community space in school and proposal of design method; implementation of school renewal with library and gallery plus open space for the creation of identity considering both of study and play.

본 연구는 현대 정보화 시대에서 우려되는 디지털격차를 해결하는 대안이 IC(Information Commons)이며, IC의 가치가 OA(Open Acess)와 민주주의의 필수요소에 있다는 전제로 진행되었다. 그러한 가치 실현의 기반이 되는 물리적 공간을 선행연구를 토대로 6개로 구분하였고, 6개 IC공간의 이용행태를 조사, 분석하여 향후 공공도서관의 IC 적용 시 고려할 부분을 제안하였다.

본 연구는 최근 열린 정부 데이터에 대한 다차원 척도, 모델 개발 연구가 시작되고 있으나, 도서관에서는 관련 연구가 부족하다는 점을 고려하여 도서관에 적용할 수 있는 오픈 데이터 품질측정 모델개발을 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구는 모델개발과 모델평가 두 단계로 수행하였다. 모델개발은 델파이 기법을 적용하였으며, 모델평가는 도서관 오픈 데이터 이용자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 모델의 타당도와 신뢰도를 측정하였다. 모델개발은 델파이 기법을 적용하여 총 4차례 수행하여 3개 차원, 18개 요인, 133개 측정요소로 구성된 모델을 도출하였다. 모델평가는 델파이 기법으로 완성한 모델을 도서관 오픈 데이터 이용자인 국내 외 사서, 개발자, 오픈 데이터 활동가를 대상으로 적합성 설문조사를 실시하여 모델의 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 그 결과 당초 18개 요인, 133개 측정요소는 15개 요인, 54개 측정요소가 타당성을 확보한 것으로 나타났다. 신뢰도는 차원별, 측정요인별로 모두 기준치인 0.6 이상의 결과를 보여주고 있어 높은 신뢰도를 확보한 것으로 나타났다. 모델평가를 통한 이용자 타당도, 신뢰도 분석으로 전문가가 구성한 평가모델은 현장에서 즉시 활용될 수 있을 정도로 정제되었다.

With the rapid development of computer technology and ongoing destruction of traditional buildings, more and more attention is paid to digital methods for the design and preservation of traditional buildings. Unlike 2D methods, Building Information Modeling (BIM) provides an object-oriented and parametric digital representation way for traditional building components. However, one of the main limitations currently is that parametric information cannot be exchanged between BIM software packages. Therefore each kind of software must have their own parametric library which causes extensive works. In this research, the authors developed an open BIM-based library using an XML parametric approach to solve the above problems, represented traditional components according to an XML schema, and parametrically implemented these XML files in a browser which can be accessed by users for their easy component edit and selection. And then based on the XML file of one component, implemented an Add-on in ArchiCAD for users to parametrically edit and directly utilize. Thus based on these XML files, a browser for users' view and selection purpose and an add-on for users' application purpose were developed. Future research will focus on implementing these XML files in other BIM tools like Revit and Digital Project. If the whole library was to be completed based on this XML approach, an open BIM-based library would be established that all kinds of BIM software users could apply this parametric library for easy modeling of traditional houses.
