모바일 그리드에서 모바일 장치의 특성을 고려한 결함 포용적 자원 선택 알고리즘 (Fault-tolerant Algorithm for Resource Selection Based on Mobile Devices‘ Characteristics in Mobile Grid)

  • 그리드 컴퓨팅은 이질적인 환경에서 자원 공유를 가능하게 함으로써 작업을 효율적으로 수행할 수 있는 환경을 제공한다. 현재 그리드 컴퓨팅의 환경은 유선 그리드 환경에 모바일 장치들을 통합하는 무선 그리드와, 사용자의 이동성을 고려한 모바일 그리드 환경으로 진화하고 있다. 모바일 장치는 성능 면에서 비약적으로 증가하고 있고, 최근 몇 년 사이에 사용자도 많이 늘어났다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 모바일 그리드 환경에서 모바일 장치를 자원으로 이용하기 위하여 모바일 장치의 특성을 고려한 결함 포용적 자원 선택 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이 알고리즘은 1) 모바일 장치의 배터리 잔류량 정보, 이동성 정보, 장치의 성능 정보를 고려하여, 2) 모바일 장치들의 순위를 계산하고 k개의 그룹으로 분류한 뒤, 3) 작업을 할당할 때 결함 포용을 고려하여 최상위 그룹과 차상위 그룹에 동시에 작업을 분배한다. 모바일 장치의 순위를 매기고 그룹화하는 과정은 모바일 장치의 동적인 특성을 고려하여 작업이 요청될 때마다 수행하도록 한다.

  • Under the pressure of competition and efficiency in the 21st century, many firms need to adapt the system of new labor relationship, labor management' innovation. In global economy and information time, country and company have become a business imperative core strategy. Industrial and Labor management culture is more innovation and sustain, development. Therefore, This paper review, the new era of 21st century of knowledged based information society, new labor management culture's shape and the possibility of strong corporate culture's impact. This study suggested several improvement ways of Labor Management. The directions of participation in decisions in labor relation as follows: A manager and employee cope with partnership each other, open management is to successfully operate. Then investment enlarge human resource development, career development, education & training's enforcement etc. Employee are creativity and innovation task centered interested in the working conditions. First of all, employee has to not only effort to productivity improvement, but also voluntarily capacity improvement. These changes are hot issues to employee as well as to manager. Also, Government role is very important. They provide to constructive infra and human resource management should be develop as well as supported to knowledge based employee in socially responsible management. Finally, new labor relations culture' practice can effort the growth to improve upgrading strategy the sound labor-manager.

대학생의 취업여부별 시간사용과 시간부족감의 성차 분석 (A Comparison of Time Use and Time Famine for Male and Female Employed and Unemployed College Students)

  • This study was aimed at exploring the differences in time use and time famine among college students ages 18 to 29, with a focus on gender and employment status, and to investigate the determinants of time famine. Data were from the 2014 Time Use Survey by the Korea National Statistical Office. Descriptive statistics, chi-square test, t-test, and logistic regression were used for the statistical analyses. The major findings are as follows. First, the employed spend significantly more time on work and less time studying than the unemployed, and females spend significantly more time on household work and less time on leisure than males. Second, employed students had higher levels of time famine than unemployed students. Third, irrespective of employment status, the education level of students' parents was identified as a determinant of time famine. Other determinants of time famine were age, job, work, and study time for employed students and gender, income, household work, and leisure time for unemployed students.

청소년의 시간사용 및 시간부족감의 변화: 2004년과 2014년의 차이를 중심으로 (Changes in Adolescents' Time Use and Time Famine: Focusing on the Differences between 2004 and 2014)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the changes in adolescents' time use and time famine between 2004~2014. The data sources were the Time Use Surveys, which were conducted by the Korea National Statistical Office in 2004 and 2014. A total of 15,386 time diaries (9,008 from 2004, 6,378 from 2014) from adolescents aged between 10 and 18 were analyzed. Descriptive statistics, chi-square, t-test were used for the statistical analyses. The main findings were as follows: First, the necessary time of adolescents was more in 2014 compared to 2004. In particular, adolescents' sleeping time increased on Saturdays. Second, on weekdays and Saturdays, the school hours of adolescents was less in 2014 compared to 2004. But extra school hours of adolescents were more on Saturdays. Third, adolescents had more leisure time on Saturdays but less leisure time on Sundays in 2014 than 2004. Fourth, the average time famine score was lower in 2014 compared to 2004. Even so, the score for high school students was higher than 3 in 4 point Likert scale. This study provides a data-base on the well-being of adolescents and the education policies that affect them.

The Visual Display of Temporal Information for E-Textbook: Incorporating the Mind-mapped Timeline Authoring Tool

  • With the ever-increasing queries related to temporal (or time-related) information, such as the product launching time, in search engine, most web pages will be augmented with such information in the future. Meanwhile, the gradual emergence of the use of electronic textbooks (or e-Textbooks), which enrich the traditional paper-based textbooks with multimedia contents such as interactive quizzes and multimedia-based simulations, has led us to infer that e-Textbooks will be blended with temporal information to support learning. The use of temporal information helps teachers and students to understand the level of prior knowledge required to study a topic, as well as the sequence of learning activities and related sub-topics, that best attains the educational goals. This paper presents a simple yet efficient tool called TimeMap, which is based on mind mapping, to create an e-Textbook called TimeBook that takes account of time-related curriculum and the ability of students to learn via collaboration.

Applying Stochastic Fractal Search Algorithm (SFSA) in Ranking the Determinants of Undergraduates Employability: Evidence from Vietnam

  • Employability has recently become the first target of the national higher education. Its model has been updated to catch the new trend of Industry 4.0. This paper aims at analyzing and ranking the determinants of undergraduate employability, focusing on business and economics majors in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In-depth interviews with content analysis have been primarily conducted to reach an agreement on a key group of factors: human capital, social capital, and identity. The Stochastic Fractal Search Algorithm (SFSA) is then applied to rank the sub-factors. Human capital is composed of three major elements: attitude, skill, and knowledge. Social capital is approached at both structural and cognitive aspects with three typical types: bonding, bridging, and linking. The analysis has confirmed the change of priority in employability determinants. Human capital is still a driver but the priority of attitude has been confirmed in the contemporary context. Then, social capital with the important order of linking, bridging, and bonding is emphasized. Skill, knowledge, and identity share the least weight in the model. It is noted that identity is newly proposed in the model but a certain role has been found. The findings are crucial for education strategies to enhance university graduate employability.

어린이와 학부모의 식품첨가물에 대한 인식 및 정보요구도 추이 분석: 2008~2013 식품첨가물 섭취 안전성 평가 연구 결과를 중심으로 (Trends of Perception and Information Needs on Food Additives of Children and Parents by Analyzing the Safety Assessment Reports of Food Additives in 2008~2013)

  • This study was performed in order to grasp the trends of elementary school children and their parents on their purchasing behavior of processed foods, awareness of food additives and its education experience by analyzing the safety assessment reports of food additives in 2008~2013. The most important factor in purchasing processed foods was safety in both groups followed by nutrition in parents and taste in children, respectively. While purchasing foods, the first item that is checked has been shifted from food additives to the origin of the products. Parents still perceived food additives as the most hazardous factor for food safety; however, recently, children began to regard microbial contaminants as being most hazardous, which is regarded as a desirable educational effect. The most concerned food additives were preservatives, synthetic seasoning and colorants in both groups. However, the awareness level on food additives still remained low as 3.0~3.1/5.0 for parents and 2.4~2.9/5.0 for children. Educational experience on food additives increased in children from 12% in 2008 to 25% in 2013; however, it decreased in parents from 23% in 2008 to 15% in 2013. Information needs for food additives by education and promotion were very high both in parents (4.2~4.5) and children (3.8~4.1). Both groups had an interest in the safety, legal standards of food additives, and foods with food additives, in order. The most reliable resource institutions on food additives were university/research institute and hospital for parents, but, hospital and government for children. The preferred media on food additives were TV and the internet for parents, and school newsletter and TV for children. Overall, the above results demonstrated that the perceptions on food additives did not change much with parents during the last 6 years; however, children's perceptions began to show improvement with the increase of educational experience. Hence, the government needs to make efforts to increase the trust level of consumers by developing educational tools and providing educational experiences including mass media for the promotion of risk communication on food additives.

농가 가족원의 생활시간 분석 (An Analysis of Rural Families' Time-Use)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze time-use of rural families. The data for 9l4 persons or 400 farm households in eight provinces were collected using time diary. The results were as follows. 1) The time-use of the farming season were different from that of the off-filming season in rural area. 2) In the case of farm wort the working hours of husband were significantly longer than those of wife during the farming and of-filming season. In contrast the working hours of wife for housekeeping were significantly longer than those of husband during both seasons. 3) The time spent of work by rural adults is much longer than average work hours of adults in general during the farming season. And the rural adults spend less time in leisure compared to the adults in general during the farming season.

다문화가족을 위한 사회통합정책에 관한 한.미 비교연구 (Comparative Study of Social Integration Policies for Multi-cultural Families in Korea and the United States)

  • This study examined social integration policies for multi-cultural families in Korea and the United States through a literature review and internet research. Because the United States has developed and maintained its own culture, this was an appropriate country to compare to Korea in terms of social integration policy. There were four main results. First, both countries enforce assimilation policies for multi-cultural families. Second, most social integration programs and services for multi-cultural families in Korea are carried out by the Multi-cultural Family Support Centers, which are supported by the national and local governments in Korea. However, because the U.S. government has preserved a laissez-faire approach to policies for immigrant families, there are no government-based support centers for multi-cultural families in the United States. Third, both countries focus on the assimilation of multi-cultural families. Nevertheless, the U.S. government promotes a balance between ethnic identity and U.S. citizenship. Fourth, the U.S. government strongly supports second-generation education and development programs that recognize the second generation as a human resource for the future of society. In summary, even though there were some cultural differences between the two countries, the United States' assimilation policies based on ethnic identity would be useful for Korean integration policies. In addition, it is very important to offer opportunities for mutual integration in everyday life between Korean families and multi-cultural families.

한국의 동남권 대학의 학내 교육자원이 대학의 취업성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of the Educational Resources on Recruitment Rates of the Universities in South-Eastern Korea)

  • 본 연구는 대학기본역량평가 등 대학 혁신과 생존경쟁이 본격적으로 시작되는 시점에서 지역사회에 필요한 인재양성과 취업이라는 산학의 지속가능한 상생발전을 위해 대학이 산학실용이라는 측면에서 궁극적으로 추구하는 취업성과와 관련해서 학내 교육자원이 실질적으로 대학의 취업성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 한다. 이를 통해 대학 내 정량적 지표인 대학자원을 기반으로 하는 대학별 지표를 통해 취업률에 영향을 미치는 요인을 발견 하고자 하는 것이다. 연구방법으로는 대학알리미 공시지표에서 사용하는 교육여건 항목, 교육재정 항목, 연구성과 항목 등 3가지 항목을 기준으로 각 세부지표들을 독립변수로 사용하여 종속변수인 취업률과의 연관성을 찾기 위해 가설 설정 및 검증, 실증분석, 기술통계분석, 상관관계분석들을 접목하였으며 다중회귀분석 결과, 교육여건과 취업률, 교유재정과 취업률, 연구성과와 취업률 측면에서 의미 있는 결과와 시사점을 도출할 수가 있었다. 이를 기반으로 지역별 특성을 반영한 실증분석이 축적된다면 지역중심 대학의 취업률 추이를 예상해 나가는 방향으로 연구를 확대해 나갈 수 있을 것으로 본다.
