  • This paper measures the operational efficiency of domestic online game companies and analyze its trends and patterns by using data envelopment analysis (DEA). DEA is a non-parametric approach to measuring the relative efficiency of decision-making units (DMUs) with multiple inputs and outputs. 14 online game companies are selected as DMUs and three inputs (number of employees, capital and asset) and three outputs (sales, operating profit and net profit) are selected as DEA variables. First, the output-oriented BCC model and super-efficiency model are employed to measure the static operational efficiency of the online game companies from 2003 to 2012. We also conduct the dynamic analysis with DEA window model to capture the trends of their operational efficiency influenced by internal and external environmental changes. The results are expected to provide fruitful implications for strategic decision making of online game companies and policy making for the online game industry.

  • The e-commerce market faces significant credit risks due to the complexity of the industry and information asymmetries. Therefore, credit risk has started to stymie the growth of e-commerce. However, there is no reliable system for evaluating the creditworthiness of e-commerce companies. Therefore, this paper constructs a credit risk evaluation index system that comprehensively considers the online and offline behavior of online retail enterprises, including 15 indicators that reflect online credit risk and 15 indicators that reflect offline credit risk. This paper establishes an integration method based on a fuzzy integral support vector machine, which takes the factor analysis results of the credit risk evaluation index system of online retail enterprises as the input and the credit risk evaluation results of online retail enterprises as the output. The classification results of each sub-classifier and the importance of each sub-classifier decision to the final decision have been taken into account in this method. Select the sample data of 1500 online retail loan customers from a bank to test the model. The empirical results demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms a single SVM and traditional SVMs aggregation technique via majority voting in terms of classification accuracy, which provides a basis for banks to establish a reliable evaluation system.

Research Design, Data and Methodology: To clarify which factor has the most significant impacts on online purchasing decision-making process, this study proposed a research model including factors such as customer trust, proposensity to trust, system assurance, the quality of website design, attitude, and customer satisfaction. This study collected the data via online survey. Data analysis was conducted by AMOS 25.0 using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. Result: The results of this study shows that the purchase decisions were positively affected by customers' attitude, satisfaction, trust, and the quality of websites design. Additionally, factors such as perceived size and reputation and system assurance, have impacts on buyers' trust, while the propensity to trust has no significant impact. Conclusion: This study provides managerial implications. The results provide which factors should be improved to foster trust, attitude, customer satisfaction, and purchase decision in the online environment. The results also provide managerial implication on marketing strategies how to enhance better relationships with customers and to consider environmental issues in the era of post COVID-19.

  • Purpose: Most emerging-market countries are concerned about the technology boom, which is accompanied by an increase in revenue from online sales and services. This finding has been demonstrated during the COVID-19 pandemic; however, is this tendency continuing in the new normal, and what factors are driving the increase in consumer decisions? The purpose of this research is to investigate how the decision to utilize online services will be affected in the new normal as well as propose a new research approach in this field. Research Design, Methodology and Approach: By following a deductive research method associated with positivist philosophy, a survey in South Vietnam with 426 respondents using a convenience sampling method was conducted. The reliability of the measurement scales was examined by using the SPSS program. The SmartPLS programme was utilised to assess the measurement and structural models as well as test hypotheses by using partial least squares structural equation modelling. Results: According to the research findings, decision-making has been impacted by social influences, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived trust, perceived price, and perceived convenience. Conclusions: The research results also bring significant contributions not only in practice in providing management implications but also in theory. The research model has also demonstrated the feasibility of employing the stimuli-organism-response framework and combining the theory of perceived risk with the technology acceptance model via the explanation of decision-making.

  • Online communities are an important source of electronic-word-of-mouth (eWOM), however few studies have examined these types of messages within the Middle Eastern context. This study focuses on Kuwaiti women as members of an online beauty forum; previous work has suggested a mediating effect of gender with women being more likely to trust and follow-up word-of-mouth with a purchase. A conceptual model, based on existing theoretical contributions, provides the basis of a coding framework for the message characteristics that influence members' eWOM adoption. A sub-set of the analysis is presented: 218 threads (1820 messages, coded into 6702 units) illustrating cases where eWOM was adopted and thereby demonstrating continuance intention with members returning to the forum. Content analysis revealed the prevalence of emotional aspects in messages, coded into a new category of 'community bonding'. Findings show that emotion expressed in messages is as influential and important as cognitive aspects of argument quality.

Use SPSS 23.0 for frequency analysis, factor analysis and regression analysis. The results showed that review attributes have a positive effect on brand attitudes, purchase decision and e-WOM intention, but the number of comments has not affect on purchase decision. Brand attitude has a positive effect on purchase decision and e-WOM intention. Brand attitude has media effect in the relationship between ratings, image information and purchase decision, and in the relationship between review attributes and e-WOM intention. As these results, consumers don't always like to have a lot of comments. and should allow to focus on high ratings and photo reviews as much as possible when writing reviews.

  • Purpose: This study aims to investigate the impact of two types of information quality, which are platform-oriented information quality and customer-oriented information quality, on customers' decision-making processes in the Online to offline (O2O) platform environment. Grounded in the product brokering efficiency model, which encompasses screening cost, evaluation cost, and decision quality, a model framework was developed. Furthermore, this study explores how these decision-making processes affect customer loyalty. Methods: Given that food delivery apps are the most widely used O2O service in Korea, this study targeted users of these apps for data analysis. We conducted hypothesis testing through a purposive sampling methodology focusing on food delivery app users. A Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling analysis was conducted to analyze the data. The data collection occurred via an online survey from October to December 2021, with a total of 212 respondents participating. Results: The results of this study revealed the significant role of information quality in helping customers' decision processes while using food delivery apps. Specifically, it was found that platform-oriented information positively influences decision quality, while customer-oriented information significantly affects both the reduction of evaluation cost and the enhancement of decision quality. Additionally, the study indicated that lower evaluation costs and higher decision quality lead to increased platform loyalty. However, a reduction in screening cost did not have a significant impact on platform loyalty. Conclusion: While previous studies have overlooked the existence of two sides, service provider and user, in a platform, this research holds significance in its analysis of how information quality impacts loyalty by utilizing the two kinds of information quality. Practitioners can enhance customer loyalty to the platform by enriching customer-oriented information, thereby reducing customers' evaluation costs and encouraging more loyal usage of the platform.

A total of 374 usable data were collected (177 domestic respondents and 197 overseas respondents) and analyzed using partial least squares analysis using Smart-PLS 3.0. Findings Two OTA recommendation characteristics - recommendation accuracy and recommendation objectivity were significant in overall model. And easy of decision making was significantly affect to OTA reuse intention. Also, only recommendation accuracy variable was revealed to significant moderating variable between domestic model and overseas model.
