The Effect of Line Dance Program on Oxygen Saturation and Happiness of Elderly (라인댄스 프로그램이 노인의 산소포화도와 행복정도에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: The research was to investigate the effect of line dance programs on oxygen saturation level and happiness of elderlies. Methods: Researchers had conducted a series of test to measure peripheral blood vessel oxygen saturation level, pulse and happiness level of 47 elderlies from the D district of G city. Collected data were analyzed with ${\chi}^2$-test and independent t-test, equipped with SPSS WIN 17.0. Results: As a result of serial tests, Pre-test and Post-test of line dance performance showed that oxygen saturation of the Experimental group had significant increase following the program and happiness of the Experimental group also had significant increase following the program. Conclusion: In conclusion, with many advantages such as its easiness to access and emulate as well as its ubiquitousness as an aerobic exercise, line dance cannot only be very beneficial to cardiovascular function and relation of elderlies, but also to emotional and psychological effect, considered as a great breakthrough to improve comprehensive well-being in both physical and mental aspects.

  • In this paper we propose multi-grounded neutral design method which was considered of transferred transient overvoltage when line to neutral fault occurs. Specially, In order to confirm the actual transient overvoltage magnitude which occurs on neutral line, we considered some screening(shielding) effects. The screening coefficient was deducted from field test results and calculation in a distribution line which is identical with an actual power line. The purpose of this paper is to attempt to suggest the guidance for grounding skystem design considering limitation of overvoltage for LV side in IEC 61936. The result is based on EMTP simulation and real field faults situation in distribution lines.

  • In this paper, we introduce the on-line test of the current collection characteristics for HSR 350x(Korea High Speed Train project) that have been performed in the Kyoung-bu high-speed line since 2002. Through the analysis of measured data during on-line test, the variation trends of contact force between pantograph and catenary according to the track conditions and driving patterns are reviewed. This study shows that the track conditions do not affect on the dynamic performance between pantograph and the driving patterns are important factors in determining the good interaction of them.

  • The prototype of Korean high speed train (HSR350), composed of two power cars, two motorized cars and three trailer cars, has been designed, fabricated and tested. In this paper, the body vibration has been reviewed from the viewpoint of the vehicle's safety and the vibration limits for components and sub-assemblies mounted on the car-body using by the experimental method. And, the dynamic characteristics, such as jerk, natural mode and kinematic mode, have been reviewed. The KHST has been run to 300 km/h in the KTX line and the results of on-line test show that it has no problems in the vehicle's safety and the vibration limits. And the characteristics of body vibrations has been predicted at 350 km/h by fitting curve about the measured acceleration signals.

  • This paper describes a type test results of 154 kV transmission line arrester with external gap. The test was carried on surge arrester unit and line arrester with external gap, respectively. Withstand voltage test demonstrate the voltage withstand capability of the line arrester with external series gap under the dry and wet conditions. In insulation coordination test external series gap shall be discharged every time when lightning impulse voltage with the steepness of more than 1500 $kV/{\mu}s$ are applied under the wet condition.

  • The Hyundai Rotem company is due to be conducted the main line Speed Qualification Test as regulated by CFR for SEPTA EMU and SCRRA Bi-level coach project. The regulated test items per 49CFR213.345 are wheel/rail interaction forces and carbody/truck accelerations during running on main line. Therefore the special two sets of instrumented wheelset (IWS) per each project have been made for measuring the interaction forces between wheel and rail at four wheels of one truck during running on main line. In this paper, regarding Speed Qualification Test, the required test items and data analysis method per 49CFR213.345 and the preparation status of instrumented wheelsets (IWS) are introduced.

  • The KTX-Sancheon has been commercially operating on the high-speed line since March. 2. In order to verify the performance of high-speed train and core equipments such as current collection system, sophisticated tests and evaluating procedures should have been considering. In this paper, the load cell with a built-in strain-gauge which developed to improve measuring method of contact force between the pantograph and catenary system is introduced. The static test results of the load cell shows that its design is very suitable and applicable for the dynamic test and on-line test. After the test and evaluation of load cell's dynamic calibration with pantograph, we will be applied to test interaction characteristics between the pantograph and catenary system on the high-speed line.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in the cosmetic purchasing behavior influenced by make-up preference images, and the orders of importance in the cosmetic store selection. The questionnaires were given to female residents in the ages between $20{\sim}45$ in Seoul and Kyung-gi province. 322 questionnaires were used for data analysis. The collected data were analyzed by using SPSS 10.0 software with various techniques such as Frequency analysis, Factor analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ reliability analysis, Paired t-test, ANOVA test and Duncan test. The results of this study were as follows: 1. After investigating how the make-up preference image influences the selection of the off-line cosmetic store, it was found out that the personal service, shopping convenience, and product composition had significant differences. 2. After investigating how the make-up preference image influences the selection of the on-line cosmetic store, it was found out that only the product composition had significant difference. 3. After studying the factors that influence the off-line cosmetic store selection, it was found that the personal service was considered most important. After studying the factors that influence the on-line cosmetic store selection, it was found that the price was considered most important.

  • In hydro-generator, a groundwall insulation of stator windings gradually deteriorates due to mechanical, thermal, electrical and environmental stresses. These stresses combine to result in loose windings, delamination of the stator insulation and/or electrical tracking of the end winding, all of which can lead to stator insulation failures. Conventionally, off-line tests such as partial discharge measurement, DC/AC current test and ${\Delta}tan{\delta}$ test has been used for estimation of winding condition. However, off-line test requires large power supply and generator outage. In addition, major cause of insulation problems such as loose wedges and slot discharges may not be found with off-line diagnoses. This paper describes the on-line partial discharge measurement techniques in the generator stator windings. The experimental results from the UIAM #1 hydro-generator confirms a optimistic application of on-line generator diagnosis method as a reliable tool for evaluation of winding condition.

  • Line Balancing is the problem to assign tasks to stations while satisfying some managerial viewpoints. Most researches about the Mixed-Model Line Balancing problems are focused on the minimizing the total processing time or the number of workstations. Independently, some research reports consider the balance issues of the physical workloads on the assembly line. In this paper, we are presenting a new mathematical model to accomplish the line balance considering both the processing time and the workloads at the same time. To this, end, we propose an zero-one integer program problem, and we use the Chebyshev Goal Programming approach as the solution method. Some computational test runs are performed to compare the pay-offs between the processing time and the workloads. And, the test results show us that the reliable balanced work schedules can be obtained through the proposed model.
