Estimation of Oil Quantity in Porous Bearing

  • Porous bearings are lubricated the oil that is contained in porous metal. Then they are always used with no oil supply, because of that, widely used electric motors. But, if oil flow out less than the limit, troubles often happen. This report shows that attempt of estimating oil quantity in porous bearing by using calculation that based Reynols' equation and Darcy's law, aimed of developing long life bearing. And comparing with experimental and calculation result, we show possibility of estimating rest oil quantity in porous bearing at steadry state by calculation.

  • This paper describes determination of optimal lubricant quantity for driving gear unit. The purpose of selecting optimal lubricant quantity is to evaluate durability of driving gear unit. Lubricant quantity of driving gear unit is important factor affecting durability. The determination methode of lubricant quantity evaluation is used calculation necessary lubricant quantity first, then selection of optimal oil quantity as a base for moving of oil temperature according to changing oil quantity.

  • Bearing friction and disturbance are the important parameters in control spacecraft using reaction wheel. In this paper, those parameters are estimated by preload and oil quantity. In order to determine the bearing preload's impact on performance, measure the disturbance and the bearing friction coefficient with increasing the preload to the allowed amount. And, find the relationship between oil quantity and bearing friction coefficient, measure it with increasing the oil amount in the bearing. With these results as a reference, find the appropriate amount of preload and oil quantity.

고추씨 기름의 지질성분에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Lipid Components of Red Pepper Seed oil)

  • This studies were conducted to find out the possibility of utilizing red pepper seed as resources of food fats, the research method was designed to make a comparison between crude and refined oil, and the results of the studies are as follows : The red pepper seed contained 28% of crude fat and 21% of crude protein. The main fatty acids of red pepper seed oil were linoleic acid(72.10~72.31%), palmitic acid(12.81~13.28%) and oleic acid(9.47~10.48%). The linolenic acid content was so small that is will not influence the autoxidation of the red pepper seed oil. The major triglyceride type of crude and refined oil of red pepper seeds were C52 and C54. The other types were found in a small quantity. The sterol composition of crude oil was $\beta$-sitosterol, campasterol, stigmasteral and brassicasterol,in the quantity order. after refining, brassicasterol was not detected, and the content was decreased by one six and one eight. The toropherol composition of crude and refined oil, tocopherol analog was composed of three kinds $\alpha$-, ${\gamma}$-, $\delta$-, but no $\beta$-form. the quantity of ${\gamma}$-, $\alpha$- and $\delta$-tocopherol were 162.91, 83.72, 43.98mg% respectively. The Quantity of and capsaicin in crude oil was 1,296 ppm, and it was reduced consicerably by refining and removed completely after the process of redeodorization.

  • The latest date, No. 1 YouII was grounded and sunk into the sea at MAMHYUNGJEDO ( South brother Island) in Sep. 21. 1995, and M.V. Sea Prince of V.L.C.C also made a big oil poullution accident owing to Typhoon "Paei" at front sea of Yeu Choun on Jul. 25. 1995. The large or small scall scale of oil poullution accident frequently was occurred about 300-350 cases per ine(1) year. The countries advanced in marine relations like as, nited Kingdom and Japan, have perfect system The country of expert education, training and oil recovery equipments in oil poullution accidents. The large quantity oil skimming ship's basic condition need general skimming ship which was high speed and large quantity skimming ability , and hve to store the recovered oil into tanks This oil skimming shop are composit the skimmer whuch move up and down according to the wace movements, storage tank which storage the recovered oil in after side, transfer pump which transformed from flooding tank to separating tank and separating tank which separated the oil mixtures, Also there are cylindrical floated which keep the auto positing, gate which keep the auto positing, gate which protect and guide the recovering oil from sea and balance weight for skimmer balance. The important arrangement is twin arm which moved by two hinge and move te skimming unit by wave movement. As use the above natural princile and equipment, we can remove the large quantity oil by developed oil skimming ship.ming ship.

  • The hydraulic coupling is a kind of power transmission device combined with pump turbine and casing as its main parts. The purpose of this research is to construct an experimental test set-up and to establish an available soft ware for th characteristics of two domestically developed hydraulic couplings. The test item is torgue rpm. and slip and or efficiency characteristic in accordance with variation of oil quantity. in this case the oil quantity was varied 55%, 67% and 77% of the inside capacity of hydraulic copuling.

  • The continuous increase of crude oil consumption has struck great impact into the world economy, When we consider disadvantageous articles in contract for oil import, it would be desirable to import in batch the total quantity of crude oil contracted, but which is not available under the present situation which has many constraints This paper treats of the ways to deliver the crude oil in a given period so as to maximize the profit derived from the sales of oil products, To do this we should consider the prices of crude oil and oil products, inventory cost, transportation cost, oil refinement cost, and fluctuations of these parameters in a given period. The case of Korea Oil Corporation is treated in this paper to generalize the problem of crude oil transportation from Middle East and formulated in a mathematical programming. This programming is transformed into Dynamic Programming through specifing states, stages, payoffs, and recursive function. To clarify these procedure and methods, the case of Korea Oil Corporation is dealt with again and demonstrated in detail.

주요 허브의 고품질 정유생산을 위한 수확시기, 재배지역, 재배형태 및 건조방법 (A Comparative Study for Obtaining Maximum Essential Oil from Six Herbs on the Basis of Harvesting Time, Cultivation Regions & Type, and Drying Methods)

  • 자생허브 및 도입허브를 6종 선발하여 정유함량 분포비를 측정하였다. 또한 재배농가와 산업체에 고품질 정유생산을 위한 허브의 품질 및 등급판정 기준설정을 제시하고자 허브의 재배방법 및 수확, 건조방법에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 대상허브는 꿀풀과 4종, 국화과 2종으로 생활형은 다년초로서 삽목이나 실생이 가능하며, 약용, 관상용, 향료 및 차 등으로 이용하였다. 허브종류별 정유함량으로 백리향 2.62%, 감국 2.0%, 라벤더 3.46%, 로즈마리 2.89% 등에서 높았다. 생육시기별 정유함량은 개화 전보다는 개화기인 7월경에 가장 높았으며, 재배유형별로는 노지재배보다 비가림재배에서 정유함량이 높았다. 또한 재배지역별로는 평야부보다 준고냉지에서의 정유함량이 높았다. 추출방법별로는 SDE(증류추출법)보다는 SFE(초임계추출법)의 정유함량이 2배 이상 높았으며, 추출부위별로는 꽃, 잎, 줄기 순으로 정유함량이 높았다. 수확 후 건조방법별 정유함량은 생체, 동결, 음건, 열풍건조 순으로 정유추출 함량이 높은 결과를 얻어 재배농가 및 가공업체에 허브 재배, 수확 및 건조방법에 대한 기준을 제시하였다.

저온유동성시험기를 이용한 2-핀용 센서통합연료히터의 특성연구 (Characteristics Analysis of 2-pin Sensor Composited Fuel Heater using the Low Temperature Fluidity)

  • 본 논문은 2-핀 센서통합연료히터를 개발하고, IT기반의 저온유동성 신호분석 장치를 이용하여 성능을 평가한다. 2-핀 센서통합연료히터의 성능평가는 차량과 동일 환경으로 차량 오일의 유량(Oil flow quantity), 히터에 공급되는 전기적 특성을 측정 및 분석한다. 측정된 데이터는 신호분석 임베디드 회로로 전송하고, 원격에서 사용자들이 웹브라우저를 이용하여 연료 필터의 동작 상태 및 성능을 분석하고 평가한다. 실차에 장착한 후 센서통합연료히터를 검증하기 위하여 온도를 가변 할 수 있는 엔진시험 챔버에서 통합연료히터를 구동시킴으로써 주행 효과를 얻도록 하였고, 엔진의 연료필터 입출력 측에 실험 지그와 데이터 수집 장치를 설치하여 극저온 상황에서 연료필터 입출력 측 연료필터의 온도, 오일주입 능력, 유량 데이터 및 엔진시동의 발화점 등을 평가한다. 이처럼 2-핀 센서히터와 연료필터를 통합한 2-핀 센서통합연료히터 부품의 초기 발화시점, 전기적 특성 및 유량의 입출력 압력 등 차량과 유사한 환경에서 부품의 동작을 파악하고 분석함으로써 제품의 신뢰성을 높인다.

  • A minimal quantity lubrication (MQL) machining is able to achieve both functions of cooling and lubrication with an extremely low quantity of a cutting fluid and a large amount of air blow. Using a biodegradable ester oil, turning tests were carried out to evaluate the effectiveness of the MQL system. It was found that the performance of MQL cutting was equivalent to, or better than, that of conventional cutting, because the MQL system tends to prevent the heat damage of the tool tip and, if an effective lubricant such as a particular polyol ester is applied to the system, it can avoid the extensive transfer of workpiece materials on to the tool surface.
