웹 검색 엔진들은 질의에 대한 문서의 적합성을 판단하기 위한 방법의 하나로 근접도를 사용한다. 근접도는 키워드의 순서를 고려하지 않는 방식과 순서를 고려하는 방식이 모두 연구되어왔다. 본 논문에서는 k개 키워드의 순서를 모두 고려하는 근접도 문제를 위한 O(n) 시간 알고리즘을 제시한다. 이때, n은 k개의 키워드가 문서에 나타난 전체 횟수이다. 또한 실험을 통해 이전 연구 결과보다 k=2인 경우는 약 1.2배의 속도 향상을, k=5인 경우는 3배 이상의 속도 향상이 있음을 보인다.

Adenoid cystic carcinoma is a rare epithelial tumour, and comprises about 1% of all malignant tumours of the oral and maxillofacial region. It is a malignant tumour which may develop in the trachea, bronchus, lungs or mammary glands, in addition to the head and neck region. Occurrences in the head and neck are mostly detected in the major salivary gland, oral cavity, pharynx and paranasal sinus where it presents as a slow growing firm nodular swelling. The aim of the article is to highlight the unique presentation of adenoid cystic carcinoma as a solitary ulcer on the floor of the mouth.

This paper analyzes interference power, Erlang capacity, the number of handoff occurrences, and call blocking probability with respect to the cell radius, the soft handoff region, and the mobile's velocity in a CDMA hierarchical cellular system. The microcell cellular system has the higher Erlang capacity than the macrocell cellular system. However, the microcell cellular system, which has a high system capacity through frequency reuse has the call blocking probability higher than macrocell cellular system. Also the interference power and the call blocking probability are decreased with the operation of soft handoff. Therefore, this paper presents the optimization of soft handoff region so as to maximize system's Erlang capacity with the low the call blocking probability according to mobile's velocity in the CDMA hierarchial cellular system.

In order to examine the variational features of Asian dust outbreak in recent years, observed WMO synop data were employed for the period from 1996 to 2007. We first divided Asian dust source regions into four subregions; 1) Taklamakan, 2) Gobi, 3) Inner Mongolia-Manchuria and 4) Loess, and the meteorogical variables such as wind speed, precipitation and threshold wind speed observed during the Asian dust outbreak period were compared with those during non-Asian dust period. The results showed that temporal variation of occurrence frequency of dust outbreak had a strong positive correlation with the frequency of strong wind speed and low precipitation in each of the 4 source regions. Spatial distributions of frequency of dust occurrence after 2002 showed increasing trend in Gobi and Inner Mongolia-Manchuria but decreasing trend in Loess region. This is showing a shift in main source region toward Northwest, especially since 2003.

South ore deposits of the Dunjeon gold mine is a fissure-filling vein emplaced in the Cretaceous granodiorite, skarnized and/or hornfelsified Ordovician Dumudong Formation. Mineralization can be divided into three distinct depositional stages on the basis of vein structure and mineral assemblages. Sb, Bi sulfosalts minerals, such as tetrahedrite, bournonite, boulangerite, cosalite, lillianite, heyrovskyite, unknown Pb-Bi-Sb-S mineral, native Sb, native Bi and Au-Ag minerals are mainly deposited in stage II. The formation temperature and sulfur fugacties of Sb, Bi minerals in the stage II deduced from thermodynamic considerations are from $172^{\circ}$ to $378^{\circ}C$ and $10^{-10.6}$ to $10^{-19.4}$ atm. Those temperatures are good agreement with temperature data obtained by fluid inclusion study which has reported already.

제주도에는 170여개의 확인된 동굴이 있으며 그 중에서 천연기념물 동굴이 10개로서 육지의 동굴보다 면적당 천연문화재적 비중이 상대적으로 높은 지역이다. 이러한 특징으로 용암동굴이 세계자연유산으로 등재되는가 하면 세계지질공원으로서 세계적인 랜드 마크로 부각되었다. 그러나 화산분출에 의하여 형성된 용암동굴은 대부분이 지표 가까운 부분에 손등위의 혈맥과 같은 형상으로 한라산을 중심으로 방사형 분포로 형성되어 있어, 장구한 기간 동안 거센 풍화와 지면 응고성 암석의 특성으로 인한 기포와 균열로 수많은 함몰과 붕괴에 직면하고 있다. 이러한 현상을 분석하고 구현하기 위하여 공간정보시스템을 활용하는 방안을 제시한다. 적용결과 땅꺼짐 현상 관련 분석 및 해결방안은 공간정보시스템의 공간정보의 분석기법과 uIT기법에 지질공학적 기법의 융합적 접근이 효과적임을 확인하였다.

Ganglioneuroma (GN) is benign neurogenic tumor arising from ganglia of the sympathetic nervous system. They are mostly found at posterior mediastinum, retroperitoneum, and adrenal gland, whereas only 1-5% occurred in the cervical region. GN usually present as a single, painless and slow-growing mass, but multiple cervical occurrences are extremely rare. An 80-year-old woman came to our clinic complained of posterior neck mass for three years. We performed surgical excision, and it was finally diagnosed as GN. We report the unique and rare disease entity with a brief literature review.

Primary laryngeal aspergillosis is rare, It is most often found in immunocompromised patient, such as leukemia, malignant disease, diabetes or immunosuppressive drugs. These days the occurrences of laryngeal aspergillosis in immunocompetent patients are increasing. The cause of laryngeal aspergillosis in immunocompetent patients is not clear, but a few factors are considered such as iatrogenic factors, vocal abuse, vocal fold cyst and occupational factors. The histopathologic characteristics are somewhat different between that of immunocompromised patients and immunocompetent patients. We report a case of primary vocal cord aspergillosis in immunocompetent patient who had treated with only surgery and brief review of the pertinent literature.

Judging from the occasional occurrences of minor and major earthquakes in Korean peninsula, it is generally considered that Korean peninsula is not located in safe zone from earthquake any more. The worldwide damages from earthquake in public buildings such as bridges are also urging the necessity for an appropriate earthquake proof action. The elastomeric bearings have been used in seismic isolation design of bridges. and elastomeric bearings are quite ideal ones which allow movement and rotation in all directions without restraining superstruture. Within the limits of this study on dynamic behavior of the LBR for seismic isolation design, the reaearch results revealed that the Laminated Rubber Bearing(LRB) is useful in bridges for seismic isolation design. In addition, the relationship between the shape factor and compressive strength is linear. It was also found that the compressive strength gets higher as the shape factor increases.

The reduction method of harmonic currents is very important, when harmonic influences of the systems connections of AC power lines with dispersed generations like solar energy and wind power generation etc, increase more and more. Which the influences of harmonic currents bring not only the drop of power quality but also many trouble occurrences of various systems. Recently, the necessity about application development of new substitute energy has gone up, and the development and practical use of dispersed power lines are proceeding now. Henceforth, a counterplan against harmonic influences must be devised for more practical use of new substitute energy. In this paper, we studied the harmonic influences and new devices for that connections and defined the calculating methods for hamonic currents of those systems.
