Gift giving is usually conducted at festive days, Christmas or Parent's day. When consumers purchase gifts, they have some troubles about efficiency and economy of gifts. The issues about gifts purchase also involve the conceptualizing and establishing evaluative measure of gifts. In order to solve some problems concerning to gift giving, it is necessary to define the concept of gift giving above all. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to establish the concept of gift giving in heop of the study of anthropology and sociology about the beginning of gifts. And it attempts to review on gift giving in the field of consumer behavior. So, first this article proposes that the core concept of gift giving is a reciprocity. It means the obligatory system performed among small groups or individuals. Second, in order to analize the gift giving process, it needs to involve important variables-gift occasion and motivation of gift giving, and intimacy relationship.

The purpose of this study was to find the significant relationship between the foodservice quality and the frequency of Dining-out. The participants are categorized by the purpose of dinning out. The survey was performed at restaurants of T, B, S, C, and M. The survey materials have been distributed for one-month period, from the 6th of June, 2004 to 31st of June, 2004. The general information of the participants and the occasion usage are analyzed using frequency and chi-square. The ANOVA is used to analyze relationship between each variable and the level of the satisfaction for individual restaurant.

This study begins with investigation of the purpose and background of the International convention on Standards of Training, Sertification and Watchkeeping for seafarers 1978, London(STCW) which will be put into force on and after 28th April 1984. Author tried to confirm those common points on requirement of the qualifications between the radio officer regulated it. the STCW Convention and radio communications between the radio officer regulated in the STCW convention and radio communication operator's general certificate in the Radio Regulations annexed to the International Telecommunication convention. Then, Japanese communications administration is taken as a model for the comparative analysis, as Japan and Korea have many resembling aspects, especially legal and social aspects. Therefore, as one of urgent tasks of Korean Communications Administration preparing for the STCW convention, Istressed on partial amendment of the Korean Radio Regulatory Act.

Sedation is often indicated for the relief of anxiety for outpatient oral surgery. In combination with local anesthesia, it is safe and effective method of treatment. However, it is not always effective in allowing the physician to complete the planned oral surgery procedure. On occasion, a procedure is left unfinished due to patient combativeness and discomfort and hypertension in spite of increase in sedative doses. Episodic increases in blood pressure were most commonly caused by light anesthesia or sedation and by the patient's experience of pain during treatment. Female patient was 42 years old. blood pressure is 150/90 mmHg. Extraction and implant surgery was done under IV sedation. During seadtion, her blood pressure was increased (200/100 mmHg). Surgery was stopped. She was done monitoring blood pressure. The blood pressure was decreased to 130/90 mmHg. Sedation was failed due to significant hypertension. Blood pressure is seldom increased during sedation but we should evaluate the patient's medical history and know guideline for hypertension crisis.

Solar cells are renewable energy source which is not only environmentally friendly but also economically viable. For that matter, thin film materials are in observed with great in terest by a number of sources throughout the nations. Among these, CdTe (Cadium telluride) and CIS (copper indium diselenide) are the latest commercial products that are gathering attention in the solar cells markets. However there are some downsides to this newly invention. Since the materials are embedded, in the occasion of damage, certain amount of module residue can be released to water or soil. This paper outlines the results of our outdoor leaching experiments on photovoltaic (PV) samples broken into small fragments and been observed for 1 year.

The Multipurpose BIPV System(MBIPVS) was evaluated as an effective passive system through analyzing the thermal performance and the efficiency of PV power generation in the previous papers. To achieve the performance better, the operation method should be determined by considering physical conditions in each occasion. Thus, we cheesed the reference operation methods in each season set by the overview of the meteorological data for last 6 years, In-choen, and compared them with the various alternatives that we had made up with for improving thermal performance. The results from adopting various alternatives on MBIPVS showed that the appropriate operational model would be effective to the energy savings ; we could reduce the total loads 1,051.0[kWh] in summer and 108.9[kWh] in winter.

The purpose of this study is to find out the traditional customs of family occasions-New Year Day, Full Moon Day, a marriage ceremony, funeral, first-year birthday, 60th birthday, other birthday, and moving a residence through a literature review. The content of each occasion consists of meaning, process of activities, costume, foods, plays, gifts, etc. The following research is suggested to survey on actual family life and to develop and provide ideal program of the family occasions through formal and informal education.

To secure resources, submarine environment should be firstly explored. On that occasion, the withdrawal of the instrument is important and the submarine ultrasonic wave should be stably identified regardless submarine environment and passive factor. In the existing control methods, the control informations, received from an observation instrument, are identified used by hardware and repeatedly compared with standard information. Hereupon, a marine observation instrument remote control system using the combination of FSK and ASK that was improved its controllability and movability was presented in this paper. Likewise, the logicality of communication algorithm were ascertained by experiments.

The specific purpose of this was to investigate if ir was feasible to design and execute garments that were multi-functional in purpose for women living in an expended world of social and occupational interaction which rerequired flexibility and convenience in their clothing appropriate to their multiple roles in society. The study was to carry out based on the selected situations(business situation-social situation and private situation-social situation) and designs deduced from the situations. The garments could permit flexibility in style through adjustable features which could be attached to, or detached from, the garment depending on the occasion and need of the wearer. As the results of the study, the characteristics of multi-functional garments were found as follows : First, the garments could bring about flexibility in garment formation through adjustable details, overlay and patch, in order to increase the multi-functional usage of the garments. Second, the style of garments could be expressed design images to meet the needs of flexibility and convenience for the various occassions. Third, the multi-functional garments could meet the needs for time and economic values for the women who play multple roles.

이와 같은 변화를 종합하여 보자면, 패션의 전반적인 흐름인 캐주얼 웨어와 스포티룩의 확산과 아울러 이러한 흐름이 더욱 세분화된다는 것으로 요약할 수 있겠다. 즉 같은 캐주얼웨어 안에서도 travel wear, town casual, outdoor wear등으로 나누어 질 것이고 또한 스포츠 웨어도 일반적인 체육활동을 위한 의복뿐만 아니라, 특정한 스포츠에 가장 적합한 전문 스포츠웨어가 개발될 것으로 예측된다. 그와 아울러, 정장은 더욱 격식과 품위를 강조하는 쪽으로 진행될 것으로 예상된다. 이러한 변화는 우리 사회의 의생활이 다양화되고 세분화되며, 서구의 TPO(time, place, occasion) 개념에 충실한 상황으로 전개되는 것이라고 할 수 있다. 그러나, 이 모든 예측은 주5일 근무제의 도입에 따라 많은 국민들이 여가활동을 증가할 것이라는 가정을 기반으로 하고 있으며, 따라서 새로운 제도 아래서 오히려 근무나 공부시간을 늘어나는 등의 예상치 못한 변화가 일어나는 경우에는 이런 변화가 일어나기는 어려울 것이다.
