  • This paper is for the optimized management of the knowledge abstracted from the World-Wide Web(WWW) in which we assume the infinite knowledge-base. Though we can abstract various useful knowledge such as the facts and the rules from the WWW pages, they may include many noisy knowledge. Therefore we have to reasonably reject them from the knowledge-base which is composed of knowledge abstracted from the WWW. To do this, we propose the oblivious memorization concept. This concept is characterized by the memorization based on the oblivion mechanism of human being. We assume the memorization is the function of the concern for any knowledge, oblivion ability and time. That is, the more concern for my knowledge the ore memorizable. And, the more oblivious and the more tine spent the less memorizable by exponentially. Where, tie assume the oblivion is the function of the degree of previous memorization, memorization ability md the number of knowledge stimulation. That is, the more previously memorized, the greater memorizing ability and the more frequently stimulated by any knowledge the less knowledge oblivious.

  • The color gray in the cinema expresses the private or public memory and oblivion in the reminiscence scenes. The aesthetic function and meaning of gray that interacts with other elements in cinematic time and space are expanded in various ways. This study was analyzed the cases in which gray was used as the main visual style by limiting the scope to Korean films. Based on the traditional cultural symbolic meaning of gray, I analyzed how it was applied and transformed in films, and interpreted the cultural-social meaning by the interaction between gray and other elements. In film history starting from monochrome, gray has been used as a visual device suitable for realizing cinematic or imaginary reality. Gray is adopted when dreams or recollections are visualized as imaginary reality, and it is used when dreamy imaginations of daydreaming are demonstrated. Gray, which reproduces the dreamlike reality of imagination, is the concrete and realistic way of expression. First, in Korean films, gray is a flashback visual device that recalls the past, and is an intermediary visual form that materializes the imaginary. In films such as Ode to My Father (2014), DongJu (2015), A Resistance(2019) and The Battle : Roar to Victory (2019), the gray of the past is a visual device for cultural memory that builds the homogeneity and identity of the group. In the era of hyper-visibility, gray in black and white images is intended to be clearly remembered by unfamiliarity rather than blurry oblivion by familiarity. Second, in genre films with disaster materials such as Train To Busan (2016) and Ashfall (2019), the grays of rain, fog, clouds, shadows and smoke highlight other elements, and the gray color causes anxiety and fear. In war films such as TaeGukGi: Brotherhood Of War (2003) and The Front Line (2011), gray shows a more intense brutality than the primary color. In sports films such as 4th Place (2015), Take Off (2009) and Forever The Moment (2007), gray expresses uncertainty and immaturity. Third, gray visualizes the historical memory of A Petal (1996), the oblivion in Oh! My Gran (2020) and Poetry (2010), and the reality of daydreaming Gagman (1988) and Dream (1990). At the boundary between imagination and reality, gray is a visual form of dreams, memories and forgetfulness.

  • The process of interpretation comprises the passage from blindness to pre-canonical responses, then the canonical interpretation and its dissemination. and finally silence and oblivion. But oblivion does not necessarily imply the conclusion of the interpretative process of work. A reinterpretation may follow. This study aims at searching the source of reinterpretation of Ronchamp Chapel. I analyzed the canonical interpretation. the site, function, and form of the chapel. I concluded that the contextualism, semiology, regionalism and other architectural conception may be the frame of reference for reinterpretation of Ronchamp Chapel.

  • Recently, OTP (One-time-Password) log-in methods have been used in many areas to prevent leakage of personal information and enhance security. The OTP method is primarily used for security of bank personal account, this is one of the sophisticated security ways in which one time password is generated and checked to enhance security. Digital door locks frequently used in everyday life require convenience and safety simultaneously. Meanwhile, related technologies for digital door locks are evolving, but methods for enhancement of security are still unsatisfactory. Generally, the digital door lock using password input type has been most commonly used and especially it provides more convenience, but it has some problems such as password exposure and password oblivion. Therefore, in this study, we propose and implement the OTP-based digital door lock system with enhanced security and convenience features but without the risk of password exposure and oblivion.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the meaning of cultural practices of videogame audience with 'mod'. Videogame audience members are recognized as very active and interactive beings compared with other interpretive media audience members. Especially mod is one of the most dramatic cultural situation of videogame. It's very prominent properties are 'activity' and 'interactivity'. Videogame audience members, so called 'gamers' modify videogame software as their own sake and use it as their own intention. Modifying and playing with videogame, or 'modding' is very strong cultural program of gamer. Mod is one of avant-garde technology but its practice is not always radical. I observed practices of the members of Naver cafe 'Elderscroll' playing . They used mods of for their phallocentric desire. And they construct a hierarchical and top-dowon membership. So advanced technology and cultural media and text from it does not assure the same advanced contents.

  • The human being receives a new information from outside and the information shows gradual oblivion with time. But it remains in memory and isn't forgotten for a long time if the information is read several times over. For example, we assume that we memorize a telephone number when we listen and never remind we may forget it soon, but we commit to memory long time by repeating. If the human being received new information with strong stimulus, it could remain in memory without recalling repeatedly. The moments of almost losing one's life in on accident or getting a stroke of luck are rarely forgiven. The human being can keep memory for a long time in spite of the limit of memory for the mechanism mentioned above. In this paper, we will make a model explaining that mechanism using a neural network Adaptive Resonance Theory.

  • Dissociative disorder is a breakdown of one's perception of one's surroundings, memory, identity, or consciousness. Dissociative amnesia is too wide-ranged to define itself of simple amnesia or oblivion. In this case, a 62 years old female diagnosed as Geonmang due to Dameobijo. The patient was treated with mainly Gungsindodam-tang and Gamisachil-tang. Clinical symptoms and general conditions are improved after treatment and more extensive researches are needed.

  • Managers are constantly facing problems. Some problems are treated with special connotation. Others are solved as a daily routine. While other problems disppear into the realm of oblivion without even recognized by managers. Some of the unrecognized or overlooked problems may cause a serious failure. It is also likely that there is a better solution approach even though we have been using a generally accepted method. Problem identification is a neglected area by researchers and managers, although they are facing problems everday. This paper provides a review of the theories pertained to problem definition and problem identification as the beginning stage of the problem solving process. Based on these theories, we provide an expert system which can assist managers for a better problem solving. Knowledge base for problem identification and recommaendation of tools for the problem solving is the key ingredient of the expert system.

  • Fingerprint authentication identifies a user based on the individual's unique fingerprint features. Fingerprint authentication methods are used in various real-life devices because they are convenient and safe and there is no risk of leakage, loss, or oblivion. However, fingerprint authentication methods are often ineffective when there is contamination of the given image through wet, dirty, dry, or wounded fingers. In this paper, a method is proposed to remove noise from fingerprint images using a convolutional neural network. The proposed model was verified using the dataset from the ChaLearn LAP Inpainting Competition Track 3-Fingerprint Denoising and Inpainting, ECCV 2018. It was demonstrated that the model proposed in this paper obtains better results with respect to the methods that achieved high performances in the competition.

  • As data can be permanently stored and freely distributed, in modern society, the Internet became a world that remembers everything forever. Because of that, there has been increasing the number of accident with never-forgetting data and, as a result, a movement has been emerged to apply a notion of 'oblivion' to internet world. The movement is called 'The right to be forgotten.' However, 'The right to be forgotten' in a higher level which internet users want to be guaranteed is very limited in the juridical approach because of the confliction with the other basic rights and problems. On the other hand, the requests of individuals to guarantee 'The right to be forgotten' has been urged digital extinction technology, such as volatile SNS, Digital Aging System, to be developed. With introduction of oblivion, digital extinction technology with setting expire date on digital information can present a new solution on assuring 'The right to be forgotten.' This research establishes the detail scope of, analyzes the level of assurance of, and, through digital extinction technology with the established scope, suggest the potential assurance of the 'The right to be forgotten'.
