A Form Clustering Algorithm for Web-based Application Reengineering (웹 응용 재구성을 위한 폼 클러스터링 알고리즘)

  • A web-based information system, that is a dominant type of information systems, suffers from the "web crisis" in development and maintenance of the system. To cope with the problem, a technology of software clustering to web-based application, which is one of web engineering, is strongly needed. In this paper, we propose a Form Clustering Algorithm along with an application example, which are used for internal-system reengineering to web-based information system. A Form Clustering Algorithm focuses on Page-model which is the feature of the web among the various web-based information system's structural model. Specially, we applying distance matrix to navigation model of graph form for easily analyzing, and web log analysis for identifying core function object that have a highly loading. Also, we create web software structure that can be used to maximize reusability and assign hardware effectively through 2-phase clustering step. Form Clustering Algorithm might be used at web-based information system development and maintenance for reusable web component development and hardware assignment, respectively.

  • There are number of methods that track the movement of an object or the change of state, such as Kalman filter, particle filter, dynamic clustering, and so on. Amongst these method, dynamic clustering method is an useful way to track cluster across multiple data frames and analyze their trend. In this paper we suggest the similarity-based dynamic clustering method, and verifies it's performance by simulation. Proposed dynamic clustering method is how to determine the same clusters for each continuative frame. The same clusters have similar characteristics across adjacent frames. The change pattern of cluster's characteristics in each time frame is throughly studied. Clusters in each time frames are matched against each others to see their similarity. Mamdani fuzzy model is used to determine similarity based matching algorithm. The proposed algorithm is applied to radar reflectivity data over time domain. We were able to observe time dependent characteristic of the clusters.

  • Conventional two-tier databases have shown performance limitation in the presence of many concurrent clients. To this end, the three-tier architecture that exploits similarities in client's object access behavior has been proposed. In this system, clients are partitioned into clusters, and object requests can be then served in inter-cluster manner. Introducing an intermediate layer between server(s) and clients enables this. In this paper, we introduce the problem of client realignment in which access behavior changes, and propose on-line client clustering. This system facilitates adaptive reconfiguration and redistribution of sites. The core issue in this paper is to demonstrate the effectiveness of on-line client clustering. We experimentally investigate the performance of the scheme and necessary costs.

  • In this thesis, we presents the component design and retrieval prototype system which can retrieve the most appropriate component for reuse system. If it used only an abject to reuse unit, it can not understand mutual reaction and can not sustain relationship between objects. Therefore, we porposed clustering component for reuse unit. It makes to understand relationship and reaction between object, so User can retrieve the proper component for reuse system. And porposed retrieval prototype system can select the correct things. it provide 3 facet retrieval environment against ambiguous retrieval definition.

  • Sensing and coverage are the two relevant tasks for a sensor network. Quality of sensor network totally depends upon the sensing ability of sensors. In a certain monitored region success of detecting or sensing an object with the help of sensor network tells that how efficiently the network coverage perform. Here in this paper we have proposed a clustering algorithm for the deployment of sensors and thus calculated the object detection probability. Actually by this work we can easily identify the present network coverage status and accordingly can take action for its improvement.

  • In this paper, we propose a text extraction method by pattern analysis on contour for effective text detection in image. Text extraction algorithms using edge based methods show good performance in images with simple backgrounds, The images of complex background has a poor performance shortcomings. The proposed method simplifies the color of the image by using K-means clustering in the preprocessing process to detect the character region in the image. Enhance the boundaries of the object through the High pass filter to improve the inaccuracy of the boundary of the object in the color simplification process. Then, by using the difference between the expansion and erosion of the morphology technique, the edges of the object is detected, and the character candidate region is discriminated by analyzing the pattern of the contour portion of the acquired region to remove the unnecessary region (picture, background). As a final result, we have shown that the characters included in the candidate character region are extracted by removing unnecessary regions.

  • In this paper, we suggest the development of object detection systems for the safety of the ship through the study of the properties of short-range radar. Many of the short-range radars developed for special purpose like cars has cheaper price advantages but it is not proper to every application. In order to overcome such obstacles we need to analysis data from experiments in various environments and feature analysis of the device is essential. Also, the data clustering algorithms to display correct classified moving objects is necessary. In this paper we propose the advanced fast moving object detection system using short range radars with better detection accuracy. And we proposed a clustering algorithm using the value of the RCS and the speed and trajectory information of the radar data that are reflected.

  • In this paper, we introduce a comprehensive design methodology of Radial Basis Function Neural Networks (RBFNN) that is based on mechanism of clustering and optimization algorithm. We can divide some clusters based on similarity of input dataset by using clustering algorithm. As a result, the number of clusters is equal to the number of nodes in the hidden layer. Moreover, the centers of each cluster are used into the centers of each receptive field in the hidden layer. In this study, we have applied Fuzzy-C Means(FCM) and K-Means(KM) clustering algorithm, respectively and compared between them. The weight connections of model are expanded into the type of polynomial functions such as linear and quadratic. In this reason, the output of model consists of relation between input and output. In order to get the optimal structure and better performance, Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO) is used. We can obtain optimized parameters such as both the number of clusters and the polynomial order of weights connection through structural optimization as well as the widths of receptive fields through parametric optimization. To evaluate the performance of proposed model, NXT equipment offered by National Instrument(NI) is exploited. The situation awareness system-related intelligent model was built up by the experimental dataset of distance information measured between object and diverse sensor such as sound sensor, light sensor, and ultrasonic sensor of NXT equipment.

Intelligent Multi-Agent Distributed Platform based on Dynamic Object Group Management using Fk-means (Fk means를 이용한 동적객체그룹관리기반 지능형 멀티 에이전트 분산플랫폼)

  • Multi-agent systems are mostly used to integrate the intelligent and distributed approaches to various systems for effective sharing of resources and dynamic system reconfigurations. Object replication is usually used to implement fault tolerance and solve the problem of unexpected failures to the system. This paper presents the intelligent multi-agent distributed platform based on the dynamic object group management and proposes an object search technique based on the proposed filtered k-means (Fk-means). We propose Fk-means for the search mechanism to find alternative objects in the event of object failures and transparently reconnect client to the object. The filtering range of Fk-means value is set only to include relevant objects within the group to perform the search method efficiently. The simulation result shows that the proposed mechanism provides fast and accurate search for the distributed object groups.

Online Video Synopsis via Multiple Object Detection

  • In this paper, an online video summarization algorithm based on multiple object detection is proposed. As crime has been on the rise due to the recent rapid urbanization, the people's appetite for safety has been growing and the installation of surveillance cameras such as a closed-circuit television(CCTV) has been increasing in many cities. However, it takes a lot of time and labor to retrieve and analyze a huge amount of video data from numerous CCTVs. As a result, there is an increasing demand for intelligent video recognition systems that can automatically detect and summarize various events occurring on CCTVs. Video summarization is a method of generating synopsis video of a long time original video so that users can watch it in a short time. The proposed video summarization method can be divided into two stages. The object extraction step detects a specific object in the video and extracts a specific object desired by the user. The video summary step creates a final synopsis video based on the objects extracted in the previous object extraction step. While the existed methods do not consider the interaction between objects from the original video when generating the synopsis video, in the proposed method, new object clustering algorithm can effectively maintain interaction between objects in original video in synopsis video. This paper also proposed an online optimization method that can efficiently summarize the large number of objects appearing in long-time videos. Finally, Experimental results show that the performance of the proposed method is superior to that of the existing video synopsis algorithm.
