  • "Nectar of Immortality", also known as Suryukwha, is a painting which is hung on the wall during Suryukjae, a rite to console the spirits residing on both land and water. The Suryukwha at Bonyung Temple in the Ming Dynasty consisted of 139 scrolls depicting separate scenes. In Korea, however, Nectar of Immortality combines all the scenes into one large painting. The lower part of Nectar of Immortality describes pain, disasters, and the frailty of human life in this world. This is intended to inspire people to embrace Buddhism and be delivered from their worldly existence. However, it reflects the social realities of that time as well. The scenes at the bottom of the painting of nomadic troupes of entertainers and their performances are part of this reflection. In this section, various scenes of traditional Korean performance are illustrated, such as double and single tightrope walking, Sotdaetagi (performing atop a pole), Ssangjulbaegi (one form of Sotdaetagi), tumbling, bell juggling, mask dramas, dish spinning, puppet shows, the dance of Sadang, and sword dancing. Among these performances, some, such as Sotdaetagi, Ssangjulbaegi, double tightrope walking, bell juggling and sword dancing (Punggakjaengipae), have since ceased to exist. The troupes of entertainers depicted in Nectar of Immortality are Sadangpae, Namsadangpae, Sotdaejaengipae, Choranipae, Punggakjaenipae, Gutjungpae, and circus troupes. When, after itinerant lives, these entertainers die, they become forlorn wandering spirits with no descendants to perform their memorial services. The entertainers in the performance scenes are the embodiment of souls who are the subjects of salvation through Suryukjae. Among these entertainers, Sotdaejaengipae, Sadangpae, Choranipae, Punggakjaenipae and Gutjungpae no longer exist. In sum, Nectar of Immortality provides insight into the vanished content of numerous historic forms of performance and the activities of nomadic troupes of entertainers.

  • Examining the patterns of evolution of interstate systems in Asia, this article argues that the relationship of state-builders to nomads stood in much of continental Asia stood in sharp contrast to the relationships between rulers and mercantile-financial elites in Europe. Due to the productivity of wet-rice economies, continental Asian rulers were not dependent on merchants and bankers to raise armies to wage war or suppress rebellions unlike their European counterparts. Hence they had no need to grant bankers and merchants concessions, especially monopolies which is how large volumes of capital are accumulated. Geographic conditions however meant that while the lack of internal frontiers meant that large continental-sized states could be created in China, this was not possible in the Indian subcontinent where a more chequered equilibrium where nomads enjoyed a military advantage in arid and semi-arid tracts meant that trans-subcontinental polities enjoyed only a fleeting existence. In mainland southeast Asia, where dense forests and a difficult terrain insulated the region from nomadic conquests, a third variant of interstate relations emerged.

  • Only a few P3P-based privacy aware systems address the discrepancy between a service provider's privacy policy and the user's typical concerns-hence, putting service usage at risk. Moreover, since users are typically nomadic in pervasive computing services, their specific privacy concerns would dynamically change according to the surrounding context. This leads us to develop a dynamically adjusting P3P-based policy for a personalized, privacy-aware service as a core element of secure pervasive computing. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to propose a pervasive P3P-based negotiation mechanism for privacy control which functions in a dynamic and flexible way.

  • Omni-directional mobile robots have been popularly employed in several application areas. However, the kinematics for these systems have not been clearly identified, specially for redundantly actuated case which is common in omni-directional mobile robot such as the Nomadic model. For such mobile robot systems, exploitation of redundant actuation as well as singularity analysis has not been extensively addressed. In light of this fact, this paper introduces two different kinematic approaches for omni-directional mobile robots. Then, a singular-free load distribution scheme for redundantly actuated three-wheeled omni-directional mobile robot is proposed. Through simulation, several advantages of redundantly actuated mobile robot in aspect of singularity avoidance, minimization of torque norm, and exploiting several subtasks are presented.

  • As a main concern of social and cultural discussionin this era, this essay will be mentioned about that considering of the cogitation system of Post-structuralism and Influences on the contemporary residential space. It is redefined, analyzed and patternized the meanings of the nomadic space from Post-structuralism and diagram which is a intermediate element of the contemporary architectureby understanding of the philosophical and reappearing similarities in that. The aim of this study is that making theoretical basis for the construction of various modern residential space.

  • 1. Of the three kingdoms, Koguryo is believed to have had nomadic life, so the livestock husbandry was vigour, but, in Silla and Paikche, only the horse production as military purpose and cattle production as a mean of cultivation had been improved. 2. In the three Kingdoms, the methods of superstition and Shamanism had been used as the mean of curing animals before Haeza, a saintly priest, A. D 590. and after that, shamanism and veterinary science seemed to be combined. We believed that Haeza is to be an initiator of veterinary science in Korea.

  • Virtualization lacks capabilities for enabling the application to scale efficiently because of new applications components which are raised to be configured on demand. In this paper, we propose an architecture that affords mobile app based on nomadic smartphone using not only mobile cloud computing-cloudlet architecture but also a dedicated platform that relies on using virtual private mobile networks to provide reliable connectivity through Long Term Evolution (LTE) wireless communication. The design architecture lies with how the cloudlet host discovers service and sends out the cloudlet IP and port while locating the user mobile device. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed architecture by implementing an android application responsible of real time analysis by using a vehicle to applications smart phones interface approach that considers the smartphones to act as a remote users which passes driver inputs and delivers outputs from external applications.

  • The scope of the study involves comparison of theaters in the west and those in the east, which experienced almost no exchange between them in the past, due to diverse restrains including a geographical one. The focus was put on the two types of these theaters whose similarities are meager historically and technologically, and whose link was not verified yet. However, similarities ,if any, will be identified among characteristics of these theaters so that the links such as liberalism, nomadic and participatory nature, non-linear space, ambivalence, mobile space-which are modern characteristics- could be connected from the past to the present, and those modern characteristics can be studied as a process where they could be sensed from the past structure or from each different target.

First, Tree-typed Diadem is four part in according to the Mountain(; 山)-typed piled up. Only one Mountain(; 山)-typed one in three stand-up ornament(I-1 Style), and three step one in three stand-up ones(I-4 S.). Three and Antler-typed diadem is three part in according to the step of Mountain(; 山)-typed and cross-shaped of the upper part. Three one of three step one of four step one(II-3 S.). They were influenced by Tree worship and cult of deer in Northern mounted nomadic groups.

  • In ubiquitous computing environment such as ubiquitous marketplace (u-market), there is a need of providing context-based personalization service while considering the nomadic user preference and corresponding requirements. To do so, the recommendation systems should deal with the tremendous amount of context data. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to propose a novel recommendation method which provides the products-group list of the customers in u-market based on the shopping intention and preferences. We have developed FREPIRS(FREquent Purchased Item-sets Recommendation Service), which makes recommendation listof product-group, not individual product. Collaborative filtering and apriori algorithm are adopted in FREPIRS to build product-group.
