고속도로 영업소 광장의 럼블스트립 관련 소음평가 (Noise Evaluation of the Rumble Strips Constructed at Tall Gate of Highway)

  • PURPOSES: This study evaluated a measuring technique for tire-pavement interaction noise that uses a noble close proximity (NCPX) method as well as for noise level measured inside of a car (e.g., Inside Noise Level) in term of rumble strips constructed at a tall gate. METHODS: According to the measurements of NCPX and inside noise level (INL), 1/3 octave band frequency analysis and overall noise level calculation were conducted in order to evaluate noise levels of NCPX and INL, depending on types of rumble strips. RESULTS: The tested sections of general concrete pavement surface and two different types of rumble strips were evaluated, using 1/3 octave band frequency analysis and overall noise level. From the analyzed results, it can be concluded that rumble strips generate a relatively huge noise levels when compared to the concrete pavement surface. CONCLUSIONS: Noting that above 3 dBA different noise levels can let drivers know that they are getting close to toll gate; therefore, they should apply their brakes. Thus, the noise levels of rumble strips are required to be reduced, based on considering the neighbors living near toll gates.

도로소음의 예측모델에 대한 비교$\cdot$평가 (Application of Ray Acoustics in Outdoor Noise Propagation : NIC@E)

  • NIC@E is the software developed by authors. The program provides the noise level in outdoors due to various noise source types : construction machines including blast sources, railroad vehicles and automobiles. It operates in the Windows system. In this paper, a highway traffic noise has been evaluated using various types of approach : Ray-tracing method, NIRI method, JAS method. In order to compare the noise estimation performance for various models, a measurement is conducted on a 8 lane express highway at the distance of 25 m and 50 m from the lane. The result shows that the ray tracing and JAS model predict the measured value well within 2dB deviaton. The NIRI model, however, underestimates the highway noise level, as the distance between the source and receiver increases.

  • The construction of concrete slab track system is increased because the system has advantages which are maintenance free and so on, the other side, the system has weak points such as increase of the cost of the early stage construction. Recently, railway environment is issued including noise. Therefore, measures which are to mitigate noise on slab tracks were introduced, however, it is found that efficiency of noise reduction is low because noise problem is still issued. In this study, to study noise characteristics on concrete tracks we measured noise by site types. Finally the results have done comparative analysis.

고속철도와 일반철도소음의 성가심 반응에 대한 청감실험 비교 연구 (Jury Evaluation Test for Annoyance Response of KTX (Korea Train Express) and Ordinary Train Noise)

  • In recent years, public complaints about railroad noise by KTX and Ordinary train are increasing. Restriction of railways uses same standard without distinguishing the type of railways. According to the type of railways, the frequency characteristics of emitting noise is different. Therefore it is requested to know how vary the public response to each types of railway. The noise annoyance to three types of trains (KTX, Electric train, Diesel train) was analyzed by Jury Evaluation Test for assessing the effect of frequency characteristics. The numerical results by a Semantic Differential Method showed that annoyance response to three type of trains depended on the frequency characteristics. As a result, this study proposed that the KTX could have a bonus level of maximum 2.9dB(A) to ordinary train.

공동주택 소음에 대한 감성 평가 (IDENTIFYING EMOTIONAL ELEMENTS OF APARTMENT NOISE)

  • The purpose of this study was to extract emotional dimensions from Korean adjectives relating to apartment noise. Noise-related 296 Korean adjectives were extracted from a dictionary and three evaluators selected 96 adjectives from those by removing very similar ones in meaning. Two types of 96 7-point scales were conducted to college students for evaluation, whether each adjective describes apartment noise appropriately. From this evaluation, 28 adjectives having above 4.5 points were selected. Again, 8 different types of 7-point scales on 378 adjective pairs(28 x 27/2) were administrated to separate college students to evaluate the degree of similarity between 28 adjectives. Based upon this evaluation, 14 adjectives were finally selected and scores on similarity sere analyzed through two different statistical analyses (Multi-dimensional scale and Cluster analysis). The results showed that three dimensions (displeasure, sensitivity and perceived loudness) exist in peoples' emotional response state to apartment noise. The previous studies have treated annoyance and sensitivity as separate measures to noise. However, this study showed that these two factors were on the same emotional dimension labeled as 'sensitivity' In addition, new dimension, labeled as 'displeasure', was found.

기본적인 부궤환 증폭기의 잡음 지수 해석 (Analysis of Noise Factors for Basic Feedback Amplifiers)

  • 부궤환증폭기의 잡음지수를 해석하는데 있어서, 부궤환증폭기를 기본증폭기와 궤환회로망으로 나누어서 신호전달을 2원적으로 생각하였다. 이 개념으로 일반적이고 기븐적인 4가지 형태의 부궤환증폭기의 잡음지수 해석에 간편한 잡음등가회로 모델을 유도하고, 이를 이용하여 각 경우에 대한 잡음지수를 구하였다. 이 이론을 적용하는 한 보기로, 트란지스터로서 4가지 각각의 부궤환증폭기를 구성하여, 이 이론을 이들의 잡음지수를 구하는데 적용 하였다. 잡음지수의 이론치와 실험치 간에는 약 11%의 오차 범위 내에서 이론의 타당성을 보였으며, 그리고 회로구성 및 오차에 대하여 검토하였다.

실내장식용 섬유소재의 흡음성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Noise Absorption of Textiles for Interiors)

  • The purpose of this study is to help to prevent daily noises by measuring the noise absorption coefficient of the non-woven fabrics and wallpapers which are commonly used in lining and noise absorption coefficient of lining curtain. Seven types of fiber materials for the interior decoration, one non-woven fabric for the wallpaper linings, and two types of textiles for curtain linings are used as the experimental materials in this study. The noise absorption coefficient of the noise absorbents were measured by using impedance tube. And the thermal transmittance were measured by using thermal transmittance tester. The results of this study are as follows; Observing the noise absorption efficiency of each experimental materials, the combination of fiber materials and linings, the noise absorption efficiency of cotton, polyester and silk were similar and for the experimental materials of flax, rayon, acrylic and nylon were resulted the similar noise absorption efficiency. The result of combination of fiber material and black fabric was highest among the combined linings. For the combination of fiber material and non-woven fabric, double layers of non-woven fabric resulted slightly higher noise absorption coefficient result than single layer of non-woven fabric. The thermal transmittance and the sound absorbents of experimental materials were affected by the thickness, density and layer of air of the experimental materials.

유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 영상개선 필터 시스템 구현 (Implementation of Image Enhancement Filter System Using Genetic Algorithm)

  • In this paper, genetic algorithm based adaptive image enhancement filtering scheme is proposed and Implemented on FPGA board. Conventional filtering methods require a priori noise information for image enhancement. In general, if a priori information of noise is not available, heuristic intuition or time consuming recursive calculations are required for image enhancement. Contrary to the conventional filtering methods, the proposed filter system can find optimal combination of filters as well as their sequent order and parameter values adaptively to unknown noise types using structured genetic algorithms. The proposed image enhancement filter system is mainly composed of two blocks. The first block consists of genetic algorithm part and fitness evaluation part. And the second block consists of four types of filters. The first block (genetic algorithms and fitness evaluation blocks) is implemented on host computer using C code, and the second block is implemented on re-configurabe FPGA board. For gray scale control, smoothing and deblurring, four types of filters(median filter, histogram equalization filter, local enhancement filter, and 2D FIR filter) are implemented on FPGA. For evaluation, three types of noises are used and experimental results show that the Proposed scheme can generate optimal set of filters adaptively without a pioi noise information.

휴대용 스마트 단말기 안테나 타입에 따른 디지털 노이즈와 안테나의 결합 분석 (Analysis of Coupling Between Digital Noise and Portable Smart Terminal Antenna According to Antenna Types)

  • 본 논문에서는 휴대단말기 안테나의 대표적 형태인 역 F 안테나(Inverted F Antenna, IFA)와 루프(Loop) 안테나에 따른 디지털 노이즈의 결합(coupling) 정도를 특성모드(characteristic mode)를 사용하여 분석한다. 우선, 안테나를 포함한 인쇄회로기판(Printed Circuit Board, PCB)의 특성모드 전류와 디지털 신호라인의 방향에 따른 결합 정도를 비교 분석하고, 이를 토대로 휴대단말기의 WiFi 안테나와 전방 카메라(front camera)의 결합에 대해서 분석한다. 분석을 위해서 카메라 모듈의 FPCB의 디지털 신호선과 그라운드 선을 PCB 그라운드의 특성 모드를 여기(excitation) 시키는 루프형 피더(feeder)로 모델링 했고, 안테나 타입(type)에 따른 노이즈 결합 변화에 대해서 분석을 했다.

고속철도의 역사형식에 따른 철도소음의 실내 전달특성 분석 (Analyses of the Railway Noise Transmission Characteristics of the Rooms in High-speed Train Stations Depending on Building Types)

  • 철도기술의 발달에 따라 열차의 주행속도는 점차 증가하였으며 최근에 들어 400 km/h 이상의 초고속열차가 등장하기에 이르렀다. 최근 우리나라에서도 열차의 주행속도를 300 km/h에서 350 km/h 이상으로 증가시키려고 했으나 주행 시 소음 및 진동의 문제가 발생할 우려가 있어서 현실화되지 못하고 있다. 그러나 고속열차의 주행속도가 증가함에 따라 소음 진동이 증가되는 피해가 우려되며 그 중에서도 철도 역사는 고속열차의 정차 및 통과시에 열차와 가장 근거리에 위치한 건축물로써 열차소음에 의한 사용자의 피해가 가장 크게 발생한다. 소음의 피해는 고속철도 역사의 건축방식에 따라 다를 것으로 예상되며 본 연구에서는 지하역과 선하역 2종류, 지상역, 선상역 등 총 5가지의 역사형식의 고속철도 역사를 대상으로 소음분석을 실시하였다. 본 논문에서는 고속열차의 속도 증가에 따른 역사의 실내 소음 을 예측하고 실내 허용 소음기준(Noise Criteria, NC)과 비교 분석하여 적정성을 평가하였다. 또한 차음성능 예측 공식 및 컴퓨터 프로그램을 활용하여 건축 부위별 마감재의 차음성능을 계산하였다. 최종적으로 마감재 변경을 통해 역사시설의 소음환경이 적정 실내허용소음을 만족할 수 있도록 개선하는 일련의 과정을 도출하고자 한다.
