At the moment, construction industry has negative images such as faulty construction, 3D industry and corruption/bribe and they are being projected onto normal people and those engaged in the industry through various news media. Not only does this worsen the lack of skilled manpower by affecting high school students who will be responsible for the construction industry in the future but also makes the future of the industry uncertain by promoting the avoidance of industrial jobs. Therefore, this study suggested basic data for improving the images of construction industry by investigating interest and images of workers in the industry that high school students think as promising construction manpower, and extracting the present negative images through evaluation of associated images.

Despite the vast potential opportunities of RFID technology in various industrial applications, deployment of RFID applications is rather limited to meet a large industrial demand in Korea. We conducted in-depth case study to organize the RFID applications in business model framework in order to provide practical insights for the development of innovative RFID applications. Throughout extensive searching for RFID applications in literature, web, news, and policy reports, we first classified passive RFID applications, mobile RFID applications, and active RFID applications. Value creation and implementation issues are compared and analyzed for each of RFID applications using Afuah and Tucci business model. This study can contribute in establishing future development of RFID technology, competitive business strategy, and government policy to stimulate Korea RFID industry.

Bioinformatics is a rapidly emerging field of biomedical research. A flood of large-scale genomic expression data transforms the challenges m biomedical research into ones in bioinformatics. Clinical informatics has long developed technologies to imp개ve biomedical research by integrating experimental and clinical information systems. Biomedical informatics, powered by high throughput techniques, genomic-scale databases and advanced clinical information system, is likely to transform our biomedical understanding forever much the same way that biochemistry did to biology a generation ago. The emergence of healthcare and biomedical informatics revolutionizing both bioinformatics and clinical informatics will eventually change the current practice of medicine, including diagnostics, therapeutics and prognostics.

Recent developments in financial market liberalization and information technology are accelerating the interdependence of national stock markets. This study explores the information spillover effect of the US stock market on the overnight and daytime returns of the Korean stock market. We develop a profitable intra-day trading strategy based on the information spillover effect. Our study provides several important conclusions. First, an information spillover effect still exists from the overnight US stock market to the current Korean stock market. Second, Korean investors overreact to both good and bad news overnight from the US. Therefore, there are significant price reversals in the KOSPI 200 index futures prices from market open to market close. Third, the overreaction effect is different between weekdays and weekends. Finally, the suggested intra-day trading system based on the documented overreaction hypothesis is profitable.

The purpose of this study was to investigate gather as decoration techniques of clothes. In this study, we defined 21st century as the modern fashion. And analyzed design that applied gather concerned with Milan, New York, London, Paris, Tokyo Woman's Collections. Data were used from Fashion News and Gap Press Magazine (2001-2004). The results of this study were as follows: 1. Gather was the most original techniques among decoration techniques of clothes and formed three-dimensional space. 2. There were many kinds of gather such as cluster gather, all gather, shirring, smoking, frill, flounce, ruffle. and it gave a different impression with Fabrics, cutting method, sewing method, parts that were used. 3. Gather had practical functions providing enough space in activity and was presented as new shape by three-dimension body motion when it was put on. 4. After analyzing design that applied gather showed in collections, there were various appearance according to designer's sensitivity.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the actual pronunciation of the words of foreign origin on TV news programs, and to review the regulations related to it. To investigate the actual pronunciation of the foreign words, the frequency data of the National Korean Language Institute is used as the subject of investigation. There is a big gap between the actual pronunciation and the orthography of the words of foreign origin. And received pronunciation of foreign words is need to teach or learn Korean efficiently. I suggest the pronunciation of foreign words is marked on Korean dictionary instead of revising the related regulations.

Recently various of information suppliers provide information via WWW so the necessary of search engine grows larger. However the efficiency of most search engines is low comparatively because of using simple pattern match technique between user's query and web document. And a manifest contents of query for special expert field so much worse A specialized search engine returns the specialized information depend on each user's search goal. It is trend to develop specialized search engines in many countries. For example, in America, there are a site that searches only the recently updated headline news and the federal law and the government and and so on. However, most such engines don't satisfy the user's needs. This paper proposes the specialized search engine for ocean information that uses user's query related with ocean and search engine uses the association rules in web data mining. So specialized search engine for ocean provides more information related to ocean because of raising recall about user's query

In the creative economy paradigm, motivation of the opportunity based startup is a continuous concern to policy-makers. Recently, bigdata anlalytics challenge traditional methods by providing efficient ways to identify social trend and hidden issues in the public sector. In this study the authors introduce a case study using social bigdata analytics for conducting policy analysis. A semantic network analysis was employed using textual data from social media including online news, blog, and private bulletin board which create buzz on the startup business. Results indicates that each media has been forming different discourses regarding government's policy on the startup business. Furthermore, semantic network structures from private bulletin board reveal unexpected social burden that hiders opening a startup, which has not been found in the traditional survey nor experts interview. Based on these results, the authors found the feasibility of using social bigdata analysis for policy-making. Methodological and practical implications are discussed.

뉴스 데이터를 구조적으로 분할하고 의미적으로 분류하여 내용별로 세분화하여 검색하는 방법을 제안한다. 구조적 분할은 공간 밝기 분포와 명암도의 불연속성 그리고 시간적인 관계 등 프레임간의 상관 정보를 이용하여 장면을 분할한다. 의미적 분류는 키 프레임에서 추출된 특징 정보를 사전 지식 정보와 비교하여 뉴스 비디오의 세부 내용을 기사별로 분류한다. 뉴스의 진행이 앵커 프레임을 중심으로 주기적으로 반복된다는 특징을 이용하여 앵커 장면과 비 앵커 장면으로 기사를 분류한다. 비 앵커 장면은 연설장면, 인터뷰장면, 일반 장면으로 세분화하고 기사별로 분류하여 검색하도록 한다. 또한 뉴스 아이콘에 의한 요약 검색 기능 그리고 자막 통합 처리에 의한 자막 검색을 하여 뉴스 비디오를 내용별로 분류하고 인덱싱하여 신속하게 뉴스 비디오를 검색할 수 있도록 설계한다.
