Molluscan specimens collected in the whole country of Korea during the from 1994 through 2002, were identified and classified. A total of 1,560 molluscan species were listed in this study; one species in class Aplacophora, 18 species in class Polyplacophora, 1,038 species in class Gastropoda, 467 species in class Bivalvia, 14 species in class Scaphopoda and 22 species in class Cephalopoda. Among the identified species, 360 species (three species in class Polyplacophora, 266 species in class Gastropoda, 85 species in class Bivalvia, 6 species in class Scaphopoda) are newly recorded to Korean fauna.

The purpose of this study is to develop a non-invasive blood glucose measurement method by a portable near infrared (NIR) system which was newly integrated by our lab. The portable NIR system includes a tungsten halogen lamp, a specialized reflectance fiber optic probe and a photo diode array type InGaAs detector; which was developed by a microchip technology based on the lithography. Reflectance NIR spectra of different parts of human body (finger tip, earlobe, and inner lip) were recorded by using a fiber optic probe. The spectra were collected over the spectral range 1100 ∼ 1740 nm. Partial least squares regression (PLSR) was applied for the calibration and validation for the determination of blood glucose. The calibration model from earlobe spectra presented better results, showing good correlation with a glucose oxidase method which is a mostly used standard method. This model predicted the glucose concentration for validation set with a SEP of 33 mg/dL. This study indicated the feasibility for non-invasive monitoring of blood glucose by a portable near infrared system.

1986년 6월부터 1987년 10월까지 광능, 지리산, 한라산, 오대산에서 채집(採集)된 23점의 반균강을 동정(同定)한 결과 2목(目) 5과(科) 10속(屬) 10종(種)으로 분류(分類)되었는데, 그중에 Pachyella clypeata(Schw.) Le Gal, Microstoma floccosa(Schw.) Raitviir 과 Microglossum viride(Pers. ex Fr.) Gill. 은 한국(韓國) 미기록종(未記錄種)이며, 그 보통명(普通名)과 기재(記載)를 보고(報告)한다.

한국(韓國)에 자생(自生)하는 그물버섯속(屬)을 '80, '82년(年)에 채집(採集)한 결과(結果) '80년(年)에 는 Boletus laetissimus Hongo를 강원도(江原道) 오대산(五臺山), '82년(年)에는 B, quercinus Hongo 와 B, pseudocalopus Hongo를 전남(全南) 대흥사(大興寺)에서 각각(各各) 채집(採集)하였으며 이들은 한국(韓國) 미기록종(未記錄種)으로 판명(判明)되었기에 한국명(韓國名)을 신칭(新稱)하여 이를 보고(報告)하는 바이다. 상기종(上記種)에 대(對)한 표본(標本)들은 당연구소(當硏究所)에 보관(保管)되어 있다.

Cardot(1904) first reported 98 Korean mosses, which were collected from Busan, Gangwon Province, Mokpo, Seoul, Wonsan and Pyongyang by Father Faurie in 1901. Thirty-four of these species were new species to the world. However, eight of these species have been not listed to the moss checklist of Korea before this study. Thus, this study complies the literature including Korean mosses, and lists all the species there. As the result, the moss list of Korea is updated as including 775 taxa (728 species, 7 subspecies, 38 varieties, 2 forma) arranged into 56 families and 250 genera. This list include species that have been newly recorded since 1980. Brachythecium is the largest genus in Korea, and Fissidens, Sphagnum, Dicranum and Entodon are relatively large. Additionally, this study cites specimens collected from Jeju Island, Samcheok, Gangwon Province, and Socheong Island, and it is possible to confirm the distribution of 338 species in Korea.

맵시벌科 (Ichneumonidae)는 外部形態形質에 있어서 매우 유사한 점이 많아서 種을 同定하거나 硏究하는데 어려움이 많다. 著者들은 走査電子顯微鏡을 利用하여 지금까지 기재되어 있지 않거나 기재가 불충분한 形質들을 찾아서 재기재하였으며, 韓國産 맵시벌科中 Gnues Habronyx (장수자루맵시벌속), Genus Therion (가락지자루맵시벌속)과 Genus Heteropelma (긴가락지자루맵시벌속)을 정리한 결과 未記錄 1종 (Habronyx (Camposcopus) Sonani (Uchida), 1958)을 추가하게 되었다.

A taxonomic study was made on the genus Tremex (Hymenoptera: Siricidae) in Korea. The study was carried out with specimens collected throughout the country from 1996 to 1998 and preserved in museums and laboratories of Universities in Korea and in other countries. As a result of this study, the genus Tremex found in Korea now consists of 5 species including one newly recorded species, Tremex contractus Maa and one new species, Tremex nigrocephalus n. sp.

In the light of these analysis of the recorded rainfall data from the meteorological observatories in Kyungpook area, hydraulic and hydrological data based on the representative watershed area and questionnaire or visiting letters to the 21 Land Reclamation Association in Kyungpook province, the hydrological backgrounds being the question to the irrigation facilities in Kyungpook Province or nation wide were studied partialy and the system of conservation and management of agricultural water sources facilities, prevention countermeasures to the drought and flood disasters, prediction of available surface waterflow and need or needless of new facilities establishment were reviewed in this paper. In the results, Technical and financial management and conservation investments of the already constructed ficalities should urgently and firstly be considered than the newly being established one.

한국산 무당벌레붙이과(Endomychidae Leach)를 분류학적으로 검토하였다. 한국산 무당벌레붙이과에는 3아과, 7속, 10종이 포함되어 있는데, 그 중 Endomychus gorhami (Lewis) Eumorphus quadriguttatus pulchripes Gerstaecker, Lycoperdina castaneipennis Gorham, Mycetina ancoriger Gorham 등 4종을 국내에서 처음으로 보고한다. 또한 Lycoperdina castaneipennis의 숙주버섯을 처음으로 보고한다.

본 연구를 통해 한국산(産) Nacoleia속(屬)은 6종으로 정리된다. 이 중 2종(Nacoleia inouei Yamanaka, 1980 및 Nacoleia satsumalis South, 1901)은 우리나라에서는 처음으로 보고된다. 본 고에서는 한국산 Nacoleia속의 기록종을 중심으로 분류학적으로 정리함과 동시에 한국미기록 2종에 대하여 외부형태 및 생식기특징을 도해하고, 채집지기록 및 국내외 분포정보 등을 제시하였다.
