This study is purposed to determine the correlation between contemporary fashion and game characters' clothes and to analyze the formative property of the game characters' clothes expressed in the contemporary fashion. The temporal scope of this study is from 2004 to 2007 based on general online game ranks, while the game type is limited to 3D-online role playing game. The most popular clothes of game characters are analyzed and found to have imaginary, sensualistic, and cross-sexual features. These are also expressed as Cyber resistance image, Femme fatal image and Asexual image in the contemporary fashion. Firstly, the Cyber resistance image in the recent fashion is shown as belligerent, destructive and surrealistic image in contemporary fashion. Secondly, the Femme fatal image represents bewitching, brutal and narcissistic image with sleek materials and glowing colors in contemporary fashion. Thirdly, the Asexual image means the concept of sex as the neuter gender. Especially, this image has been introduced by simple and straight silhouette, black, silver, khaki colors in fashion. Accordingly, the clothes of game characters with the popularity and formative property have close correlation with contemporary fashion even if they do not pursue for practical creativity. In this respect, they can consolidate the position as a new fashion trend if they are developed with various design ideas.

Heterotrichous ciliates were isolated from marine and brackish habitats in Korea, and their morphology, infraciliature and morphometrical characters were investigated using silver impregnated methods. These three Condylostoma species were identified as Condylostoma curva Burkovsky, 1970, C. minutum Bullington, 1940 and C. spatiosum Ozaki and Yagiu in Yagiu, 1944. The species of Condylostoma based on morphology are highly variable in most of characters and distinguished as following. Condylostoma curva is oval to elongate ellipsoidal, size about $245{\times}100{\mu}m$ in vivo, and conspicuously dark greenish brown with cortical granules on their surface, buccal cavity relatively large about 40% of body length, 5-11 macronuclear nodules, 4-8 frontal cirri serially arranged and 22-38 somatic kineties. Condylostoma minutum is elongate ellipsoidal and the size about $310{\times}55{\mu}m$ in vivo, buccal field about 35% of body length, 12-20 macronuclear nodules, adoral zone consisted of 82-107 membranelles, large and long one frontal cirrus and 38-44 somatic kineties. Condylostoma spatiosum is large elongate ellipsoidal, size about $670{\times}105{\mu}m$ in vivo, buccal cavity about 25% of body length, 11-25 macronuclear nodules, 111-144 adoral membranelles, membrane-like 2 frontal cirri, 49-74 somatic kineties. These three Condylostoma species are described here for the first time in Korea.

A new method was developed for the rapid analysis of diverse bacterial species in the natural environment. Our method is based on PCR-single-strands-conformation polymorphism (PCR-SSCP) and selective isolation technique of single-stranded DNA. Variable V3 fragments of 16S rDNA were amplified by PCR with bacterial 16S rDNA primers, where one of the primers was biotinylated at the 5'-end. The biotinylated strands of the PCR products were selectively isolated by using streptavidin paramagnetic particles and a magnetic stand, to prevent SSCP analysis producing heteroduplexes from heterogeneous DNA samples. The selected strands were separated by electrophoresis on a polyacrylamide gel, and detected by silver staining. Analysis of PCR products from 8 bacterial strains demonstrated their characteristic DNA band patterns. In addition, changes in the structure of the bacterial community and species diversity in the microcosm treated with phenol could be monitored. After 3 weeks of incubation, phenol and its intermediate, 2-hydroxy-muconic-semialdehyde, were degraded by indigenous bacteria. These dominating bacterial populations were identified as strong bands on an SSCP gel. Therefore, this study provides useful tools for microbial community analysis of natural habitats.

The purpose of this study is to understand what the Glam Style is, focus on the movie "Velvet Goldmine". The Glam Style is refered early 1970s Glam rockers' costume, typified by silver lurex, corksoled platform, men in make-up, personified, for example, by David Bowie, Marc Bolan, New York Dolls, Roxy Music and Iggy Pop. To approach the Glam Style comprehensively, I have divided the formative background of Glam Style into the improvement technology, the advent of the young generation and the diffusion of mass media, the rock music fever and influence on Pop art. Following is the result of analyzing of the character in the movie. First, Brian Slade has the flamboyant transsexual image by skin-tight space suit, glitter pants, lurex, satin and sequined stretch fabrics, vivid color, gauze make-up, feather boa. Second, Curt Wild expresses the outrageous sexual image by black leather jacket, emphasized black eyes make-up. Third, Mandy Slade appears the exaggerated and frivolous image by gold leopard patterned one piece, fur coat, ornamented with beads, tropical make-up, spangles and the costume jewelry. Forth, Auther Stuart has the complex image by black leather jacket, velvet jacket, skin-tight bold shirt, glitter pants, glitter make-up, silk scarf, cherry-red sunglasses. The characteristics meaning of Glam Style implied in this formative characteristic could be presented as the experimental expression of androgynous, the hordes of outrageous alien and kitsch parody.

This study investigated the casual jacket design preferences of women aged 50s and 60s and suggested a prototype design for functional clothing. All age groups liked the casual jacket with a length between the waist and hip, a convertible collar, and a single-breasted design. Those in their 50s preferred fitted or semi-fitted casual jackets while those in their 60s preferred semi-fitted casual jackets. Although, there were significant differences between the preferred jacket designs and ready-made brand jacket designs, most brand jacket designs were casual, semi-fitted, middle-hip length, single-breasted, and with stand-rolled or convertible collars. The analysis of the sleeve styles in brand jackets showed that consumers needed designs that are more decorative. Fashion designers for senior citizens need to design elderly clothing that is comfortable, fashionable, functional, and considers a universal design for ease of clothing function. It will also make the senior citizen fashion market more appealing to consumers. To provide jacket designs for senior citizens, we suggested casual jacket designs for embedding a functional device as well as a new jacket design library for women in their 50s and 60s.

New approach for the determination of Ag(I) ion was performed by using a carbon paste electrode (CPE) containing N,N'-Diphenyl oxamide (DPO) with anodic stripping voltammetry. The CMEs have been prepared by making carbon paste mixtures containing an appropriate amount of DPO salt coated onto graphite particles to analyze trace metal ions via complexation followed by stripping voltammetry. Various experimental parameters affecting the response, such as pH, deposition time, temperature, and electrode composition, were carefully optimized. Using differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry, the logarithmic linear response range for the Ag(I) ion was 1.0 × $10^{-7}$ - 5.0 × $10^{-9}$ M at the deposition time of 10 min, with the detection limit was 7.0 × $10^{-10}$ M. The detection limit adopted from anodic stripping differential pulse voltammetry was 7.0 × $10^{-10}$ M for silver and the relative standard deviation was ± 3.2% at a 5.0 × $10^{-8}$ M of Ag(I) ion (n = 7). The proposed electrode shows a very good selectivity for Ag(I) in a standard solution containing several metals at optimized conditions.

New rural village development programs have been implemented, and rural village land use is expanded to encompass green-tourism, citizen and silver domicile space because of the internal and the external changes in the agricultural environment. This study was conducted to propose the evaluation index for retiree rural village development project issued by Ministry for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. The evaluation index was consisted of four categories (population, economic, environment, and living), which were consisted of 35 variables. The relative weight for 35 variables was calculated based on the questionnaire survey from the experts and AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process). Growth rate of population in population criteria, job creation by exterior inflow in economics criteria, improvement of exchange between urban and rural in life criteria, and the flood outbreak in environment criteria were the most important contents of 35 variables. These results are consistent with the objectives of retiree rural village development project, and indicate the need of prevention the negative sides by implementation of the project.

Generally, electrical circuits are fabricated as Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and mounted on the casing of the product. Additionally, this requires many other parts and some labor for assembly. Recently, molding technology has increasingly been applied to embed simple circuits in plastic casing. The technology is called a Molded Interconnected Device (MID). By using this technology, PCB fabrication can be replaced by molding, and much of the corresponding assembly process for PCBs can be eliminated if the circuit is simple enough for molding. Furthermore, as the improvement of conductive materials and printing technologies of simple electric circuits can be printed directly on the casing part, this also reduces the complexity of the product design and production cost. Therefore, this paper introduces a new MID fabrication process using direct 3D printing technology. Additionally, it is applied to an automotive part of a cruise control switch. The methodology and design are shown.

It is supposed that the future fashion could be made by the scientist instead of fashion designer. Because it is so intellectual and avantguard. In addition to this the practical value and a certain identity is needed in this future fashion. Especially, the intention of no acceptance of categorization could be explained through the fashion clud of young people and the extremeness in the street. Paul Hedmus has insited that Tokyo club is closely related the fashion styles depended on the western historical street fashions. Fashion is mixeded contrasted, modified, resembled, reversed and finally it includes the new neaning. Instead of distinguishable logo there are lots of messages in the fashion. There are a few thousand of young people who wear silver max metal shoes. And they craze the neon picture and advertisement implies meaning the drug. It could be applied to the people of 90's. The difference between sex from the stone age is induced basically from the fashion and the part of discussion of sex. In this study we research the images of future fashion showed in SF Movie, Star Wars, Episode, The 5th Elements, Nirvana. Those were geometric and natural, technological expansion of space, corset fashion acessoruy image and geometric expression and these characteristics implied in modern fashion trend and future fashion images. Because it is supposed to the future image of current fashion. The millenium fashion is more realistic, practical, and natural instinct realization of ideal. but it is not the unrealistic, the vague of the regendary image.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the middle-aged British women's apparel purchase behavior. The results of this study can be used to present the tendency of Korean middle-aged women's apparel purchase behavior when they become the old-aged by comparing and analyzing the British women's purchase behavior. We found that they prefer to choose and purchase their clothes by their own decision-making and search for actively the new brands for old age. Strong willingness was showed that their level of consumption amounts for clothing would be the same level between middle-aged and old-aged. It was also presented that they like to see a old-aged fashion model for fashion advertisement rather than a younger one and prefer to use the expression of 'mature' rather than a stereotypical expression such as a silver, gray and gold. The segmentation of fashion market by age can not be simply standardized. We expect that the propensity for clothing purchase behavior pattern of middle-aged women will not be changed and keep the same tendency by the time of their old-aged. We expect that this research results can be used as a basic material for another study and setting up the product developments and marketing strategies.
