This paper addresses experimental results carried out to investigate the transmission of seat vibration to the head for Korean. Vertical seat vibration in the frequency range of 0.5-30 Hz was applied to a seated Korean male subject. To examine the intra-variable effects on transmissibility, five different postures and three different vibration excitation levels were considered. The applied acceleration and head accelerations of the seated subject were measured simultaneously by using a 6-axes bite-bar. Detailed experimental results of measured transmissibilities are illustrated for each posture and/or vibration excitation level. They are found to allow the identification of dynamic characteristics of Korean seated body for various real vibration environments. Furthermore, they are expected to be very useful in designing new seats for automotive and railway vehicles and in improving their vibration ride quality.

컴퓨터 교육은 지식의 이해 정도뿐만 아니라 사고력, 판단력, 문제 해결 능력 등이 강조되기 때문에 실천적인 태도와 기술적인 활동의 체험이 중요시되므로 학습자에 대한 평가는 학습내용의 기술적인 실기 능력, 적용 능력, 적극적인 태도 등이 균형있게 평가되어야 한다. 따라서 본 연구는 컴퓨터교육에서 지향해야 할 평가의 방향으로 문제해결 과정 중심의 평가와 학생 참여적인 객관적인 평가를 제시하고 그것을 평가할 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다. 그리고 평가 실험을 통하여 제안된 방법이 기존의 수행평가 방법으로는 얻을 수 없었던 학생의 수행능력을 평가할 수 있음을 보였다.

Depression, anxiety and stress are important components of theories of pathological gambling and are often foci of treatment with patients with gambling problems. In the present review we attempt to examine the relationship between anxiety, depression, stress and pathological gambling. Although the previous studies on this subject are limited and the relationship is unclear and complex, our review on the previous studies and clinical experiences on this subject could offer new insights for the assessment and treatment of pathological gamblers.

After this discovery of lower bounds by Stark and Odlyzko, some people searched for number fields with relatively small discriminants. Also some others studied algorithms which will produce number fields with the smallest absolute value of the discriminant for a fixed degree n. However, this algorithmic approach does not work well if the extension degree n is greater than seven or eight. And it is not clear whether current computers can finish those algorithms in a reasonable amount of time for large n. So we are justified in our approach for this subject. In this paper we will report the results of our computations. Some number fields we found are better than previously known examples. Others are rediscoveries of known examples. However, there is theoretically nothing new in our approach to this subject.

The subject on office automation is gradually gaining more improtance due to the fact that the efficiency of office systems contribute to the increase of productivity as much as manufactoring systems themselves. For successful implementation of office automation, one must carefully plan and execute various steps such as the analysis of office tasks, personnel training, workplace design, equipment design, and so on. The previous studies related to the subject has not been concrete enough to be practically helpful for the actual realization of office automation. In this paper, a new analysis method of the office task is proposed. This analysis method is based on the Rasmussen's and Bennette's methods. The Rasmussen's method describes a way of quantifying mental workload while the Bennette's method provides a tool for the analysis of the office task. The posner's and Rouse's methods are also employed for the detailed division of tasks. The method proposed in this paper is believed to be easier for use and expected to be more helpful for us to cope with the clear definition of office tasks that is vital to successful implementation of office automation.

In this study, as the result of analyzing the relationship and influence between economic outcome and R&D supporting investment, the number of supporting subjects among the technological innovational areas of SMEs, it is as below. First, as the economic result of analyzing companies from the investment in R&D of technological innovational areas of minor companies, the number of supporting subjects and amount of R&D have relationship with increase of sales and export amount, employee reduction & the effect of new job creation shows positive correlation with the effect of import replacement. Second, as analyzing the influence of the investment in R&D has economic effect from of technological innovational minor companies. This is thought that the financial and R&D support increase a significant effect on economical, technical against SMEs.

In this paper, we propose a new method of reconstructing the hand models for individuals, which include the link structure models, the homologous skin surface models and the homologous tetrahedral mesh models in a reference posture. As for the link structure model, the local coordinate system related to each link consists of the joint rotation center and the axes of joint rotation, which can be estimated based on the trajectories of optimal markers on the relative skin surface region of the subject obtained from the motion capture system. The skin surface model is defined as a three-dimensional triangular mesh, obtained by deforming a template mesh so as to fit the landmark vertices to the relative marker positions obtained motion capture system. In this process, anatomical dimensions for the subject, manually measured by a caliper, are also used as the deformation constraints.

To achieve high performance speed regulation, a robust adaptive speed controller is proposed for the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) subject to parameter uncertainties and input saturations in this paper. A nonlinear adaptive control is introduced to compensate the PMSM speed tracking errors due to uncertainties, disturbances and control input saturation constraints. By combining the adaptive control and the nonlinear robust control based on the interconnection and damping assignment (IDA) strategy, a new robust adaptive control is designed for speed regulation of PMSM. Stability and robustness of the closed-loop control system involved with the constrained control inputs rather than unconstrained control inputs are validated. Simulations for PMSM control in the presence of uncertainties and saturations nonlinearities show that the proposed approach is effective to regulate speed, and the average tracking error using the proposed approach is at least 32% smaller than the compared methods.

Owing to the development of Biotechnology, the involvement of humans in life before birth has been increasing. This means the need for the protection of unborn life takes on new importance. The respect for life and human beings which is based on fundamental constitutional principle should still be respected under civil law. This study examines how methods of respect for life are embodied in civil liability law. In particular, it enunciates the protection of unborn life within time-flow. Lastly, it studies the instruments of the civil liability law and the extent of protection for a fetus from the process of fertilization of an ovum by a sperm, development into an embryo and implantation. Especially, it looks into when and how the subject of the right changes. Besides, it critically scrutinizes the opinions of leading case lawyers and the Constitutional Court which conclude that, in order for a fetus to become the subject of Damage law, it is required to be born alive to comply with precedent. Furthermore, it suggests an alternative interpretation theory.
