  • Recently, the interest is increased rapidly about the New Hanok as contemporary house. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to recognize New Hanok as valuable things, which represents traditionality of urban, and to seek how it can be developed as contemporary house. This research analyze the characteristics of New Hanok is built since 2000. The result are as followings. First, many contemporary architects used only the roofing tiles and traditional Hanok elevation design as the design vocabulary of New Hanok. In future, the design vocabulary of New Hanok must be developed variously. Secondly, the construction of New Hanok is possible from the land of minimum $100m^2$ in a city can be found. Thirdly, as a result of having analyzed at the form and the spatial side, it has been analyzed that New Hanok can be divided into 3 types in the form side, which is 'the transfiguration of format', 'the motive borrowing of traditional elements', 'the vertical extension and reconstruction'. In the spatial side, it has been analyzed that New Hanok can be divided into 3 types, which is 'the center of Madang', 'the integration of circulation', 'the transfiguration of design principle'. Lastly, The contemporary architects were analyzed into having a thought that New Hanok must maintain an appearance of Hanok.

  • Recently our country highly evaluate cultural value of modern construction. Before and after Japanese imperial period, diplomatic equipment, commerce equipment and brand-new modern construction of Japan and Western came into our country coercively. Especially, modern construction placed in center of the city, as previously stated, was a construction field of historical disgrace. So it leaves alone or transforms to high technology because of well located. Selctive reception of the past makes difficult to know about rightful modem, furthermore it is difficult to expect rightful future. Accordingly, I write this. paper for the purpose of presenting the space application blueprint of 'Jung Myung Jeon' of modern construction designated as the cultural properties in Seoul. According to the project, 'Jung Myung Jeon' will do a role as the keyword which is important connects a past and a present time it presents. Then modern construction 'Jung Myung Jeon' which has a culture value will develop continuous with the city.

  • The importance of plant factory which blend agriculture and manufacture has been discussed widely. This company has researched hydroponics technique for cultivation which has been mainly developed in the sites of Okinawa and Hyougo Prefecture. In 1987, we stopped the previous research there, and started a new one far plant factory at the Agricultural Research Center of Chiba Prefecture. In 1989, we built four experimental plant factories (120㎡) at Chiba Oil Factory Refinery in Ichihara-city, developing techniques of cultivation, equipment production and environmental control for cultivation system of tomato, strawberry and leaf vegetables. • Conventional traffic network in the urban city has been constructed and operated under systems to collect and transmit based on the roadside AP(Acess Point). But This paper has investigated the new traffic network based on smart station which combined the power network. Futhermore, the smart station can collect and transmit the variable informations and functions that supply the vehicle moving lines, informative collector service and center interoperation etc.

  • With the development of public transportation, the use of subways as a means of transportation in the city center is increasing, so that vibrations and structural noises are emerging as a new environmental issues. This study can be used as a basis for research on subway safety and shock mitigation by applying vibration-proof mat.

  • The recent advance of information and communication technologies has made the identity of public libraries ambiguous. Few literatures have dealt with a local community public library from knowledge creation perspective. In this article we extend the applicability of the concepts such as knowledge management and knowledge city to local public libraries whose major role needs to change from the traditional book rental to knowledge and social capital creating entity. Based on the concepts, we propose a framework for analyzing the public library as a center of knowledge creation. Using the framework, we analyze the Ridgewood Public Library in New Jersey to test the validity of the framework.

  • Now days subway represents a gateway of the city and a center of transportation. It belongs basic facilities to connect the town and suburbs and has strongly regarded as a means of development of city. but It's time that the subway should be changed to reach the needs which give visitors comfortable space and convenient image to use it and it also has a function of transportation because the present generation have turned an information-oriented and specialized society. So we try to put the essential points as like the followings, designing the CANOPY (Busan subway-3rd line). the first, We create an distinctive image with effect to get a regional self-confidence the second, we make new traffic space including potential energy in new millennium ages the third, we need an effort and experiment to overcome contradiction pointing to unity between varieties. To conclude, we want to create CANOPY subway with an individual characters for Busan and aim at a fine view and improved image of subway for Busan, considering the belows.

  • The movement of bone fluid from the region of the bone vasculature through the canaliculi and the lacunae of the surrounding mineralized tissue accomplishes three important tasks. First it transports nutrients to the osteocytes in the lacunae buried in the mineralized matrix. Second, it carries away the cell waste. Third, the bone fluid exerts a force on the cell process, a force that is large enough for the cell to sense. This is probably the basic mechanotrasduction mechanism in bone, the way in which bone senses the mechanical load to which it is subjected. The mechanism of bone fluid flow are described below with particular emphasis on mechanotransduction. Also described is the cell to cell communication by which higher frequency signals might be transferred, a potential mechanism in bone by which the small whole tissue strain is amplified so the bone cells can respond to it. One of the conclusions is that higher frequency low amplitude strains can maintain bone as effectively as low frequency low amplitude strains can maintain bone as effectively as low frequency high amplitude strains. This mechanism has many similarities with the mechanotransduction of acoustical signals in the ear. These conclusion leads to a paradigm shift in how to treat osteoporosis and how to cope with microgravity.

  • Recently, as mega-urbanization progresses, urban logistics centered on large cities is growing rapidly, and logistics transportation is increasing due to the lack of logistics infrastructure and the operation of a delivery system using cargo trucks in the city center. being cited as a cause. In order to solve this problem, domestic researchers are conducting research on the development of " Urban Underground railway Logistics System" that minimizes the initial infrastructure construction cost by utilizing the existing urban railway facilities in the city. Therefore, this paper analyzed the usage environment of the actual urban railway station to which the system will be applied in order to derive candidates for the test bed selection of "Urban Underground railway Logistics System". The evaluation criteria for test bed candidate role selection were established, and the candidate group derived from the Brown & Gibson model was used to evaluate the candidate group and derive the candidate role. A review of the results was conducted to contribute to the establishment of a test bed for the " Urban Underground railway Logistics System" under development.

  • This study aimed to find out the morphological evolution process for future vision of world smart city. The contents and methods of study was divided and compared by 4 continents and Korea focused on the convergence numbers of ET and IT in smart city and did correlation analysis and analysis of convergence number in device/technology by periods. The analysis materials were 32 cases of smart city in whole world and times were 4 periods. The results of study were listed below. First, the smart city in period 1 was morphological evolutions preserved environment and kept natural form of existing city and filled up device/technology. Second, the smart city in period 2 was morphological evolutions through ET-centric development. Third, the smart city in period 3 was morphological evolutions through advancement of ET and device/technology related to production of energy. Forth, the smart city in period 4 was morphological evolutions fusing, dissipating and creating new ET and IT through the advancement process of all technologies. In conclusion, morphological evolution of smart city will change systematic city structure of convergence form, not each discriminating development between ET and IT, and the forming of smart city will be evolved by repetitive convergence process of technologies continually.
