Curved bridges are important components of a highway transportation network for connecting local roads and highways, but very few data have been collected in terms of their field performance. This paper presents two-years monitoring and system identification results of a curved concrete box-girder bridge, the West St. On-Ramp, under ambient traffic excitations. The authors permanently installed accelerometers on the bridge from the beginning of the bridge life. From the ambient vibration data sets collected over the two years, the element stiffness correction factors for the columns, the girder, and boundary springs were identified using the back-propagation neural network. The results showed that the element stiffness values were nearly 10% different from the initial design values. It was also observed that the traffic conditions heavily influence the dynamic characteristics of this curved bridge. Furthermore, a probability distribution model of the element stiffness was established for long-term monitoring and analysis of the bridge stiffness change.

스마트 기기 사용자가 급속도로 증가하면서 웹 서비스, 모바일 어플리케이션 이용으로 네트워크 트래픽이 증가하고 있다. 본 논문은 u-Health 모바일 환경에서의 네트워크 데이터 손실 문제와 암호화 모듈 대안으로 QRcode 활용을 제시 하였다. 그리하여 환자의 생체정보를 수집하여 PC기반에서 QRcode 생성 하였다. 또한 오염과 훼손에도 인식되는 판독 율을 확인하였고, 네트워크 성능 측정도구를 이용한 데이터 트래픽 손실률을 테스트 하였다.

본 논문에서는 VoIP 서비스를 사용하는데 있어서 IP 망에서 음성품질을 저해시키는 요소들을 Emulator를 통해 실험함으로써 음성품질에 영향을 미치는 요소에 대해 분석하였다. 그리고 QoS 분석에서는 실제 망 환경에서 겪을 수 있는 영향요소들에 대한 실측치를 반영하여 망 품질에 대한 망상태의 변화를 분석하였다. 망 품질의 가장 큰 영향을 주는 Delay, Jitter, 패킷손실에 대해 실측한 데이터는 IP망에서의 고품질의 VoIP 서비스를 제공하는 기반이 될 것으로 기대한다.

오래 전부터 이동통신 서비스를 위한 통신 프로토콜이나 기능 요소들의 성능을 평가하기 위해서는 분석적 방법, 시뮬레이션 및 평가적 방법이 이용되어 왔다. 이중 시뮬레이션을 통한 평가 방법은 시스템 내부 구성 요소들의 연관 관계가 매우 복잡한 시스템을 테스트하는데 유용하게 사용되고 있으며, 이를 위해서는 이동통신 통화 특성을 반영하는 텔레트래픽 모델을 제시하고 있어야 한다. 텔레트래픽 모델은 일반적으로 트래픽 소스 모델과 네트워크 트랙픽 모델로 구성되어 있으며, 본 네트워크 트래픽 모델을 정의하기 위해 요구되는 실제 기지국 통화량 자료를 수집하고 분석한 결과를 제공하기 위한 것이다. 본 논문에서는 서울시를 상업, 주거, 준공업, 그리고 녹지 지역으로 되어 있는 도시계획 용도지역으로 구분하고, 여기에 설치되어 있는 기지국으로부터 실제 데이터를 시간대별로 수집하였다. 수집된 자료를 이용하여 각 지역별 기지국의 시간대별 통화량 분포와 최대 및 최소 발생 호 수 등을 제시하였다. 분석 결과는 보다 더 정확한 이동통신 네트워크 트래픽 모델을 정의하거나, 기존 이동통신 시뮬레이션 과정에서의 입력 자료로 사용할 수 있다.

Traffic flows of real-time multimedia services such as Internet phone and IPTV are bounded on the end-to-end delay. Packets violating their delay limits will be dropped at a router because of not useful anymore. Service providers promise the quality of their providing services in terms of SLA(Service Level Agreement), and they, especially, have to guarantee the packet loss rates listed in the SLA. This paper is about a method to guarantee the required packet loss rate of each traffic flow keeping the high network resource utilization as well. In details, it assures the required loss rate by adjusting adaptively the timestamps of packets of the flow according to the difference between the required and measured loss rates in the lossy Weighted Fair Queuing(WFQ) scheduler. The proposed method is expected to be highly applicable because of assuring the packet loss rates regardless of the fluctuations of offered traffic load in terms of quality of services and statistical characteristics.

네트워크의 고속화와 다양한 서비스의 등장으로 오늘날의 네트워크 트래픽은 복잡 다양해지고 있다. 효율적인 네트워크 관리를 위해서는 네트워크에서 발생하는 트래픽에 대한 다양한 분석이 필요하다. QoS, SLA와 같은 정책을 적용하기 위해서는 트래픽 분석 중에서도 트래픽 분류의 중요성이 크다. 현재까지 트래픽 분류에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되어 왔는데 최근에는 플로우의 통계 정보를 이용한 트래픽 분류 방법론이 많이 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 연구에서 제안한 페이로드 크기 분포를 이용한 트래픽 분류 방법의 문제점인 낮은 분석률 및 정확도를 향상시키는 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법은 PSD 충돌로 인해 분류하지 못하는 트래픽을 IP와 port정보를 이용하여 추가적으로 분류하여 분석률을 향상시키고 기존 분류 방법에서 트래픽 분류를 위해 사용되던 플로우와 시그니쳐 사이의 거리 측정 방법을 벡터 거리 측정에서 패킷 별 거리 측정으로의 변경으로 통해 분류 방법의 정확도를 향상시킨다. 제안한 방법은 학내 망에서의 실험을 통해 기존 알고리즘에 비해 향상된 알고리즘의 성능을 검증한다.

We propose a new routing protocol, MCQosR, that is based on bandwidth estimation, admission control, and a routing metric, MCCR - suitable for wireless ad-hoc networks with multiple radios and channels. To use the full capacity of a wireless link, we assume a node with multiple radios for full duplex operation, and a radio using multiple channels to exclude route-intra interference. This makes it possible to use the capacity of a wireless link. Then, to provide bandwidth and delay guarantee, we have a radio with a fixed channel for layer-3 data reception at each node, used to estimate the available bandwidth and expected delay of a wireless link. Based on the estimate of available bandwidth and delay, we apply the call admission control to a new call requiring bandwidth and delay guarantee. New calls with traffic that will overflow link or network capacity are rejected so the accepted calls can use the required bandwidth and delay. Finally, we propose a routing metric, MCCR, which considers the channel contentions and collisions of a wireless link operating in CSMA/CA. MCCR is useful for finding a route with less traffic and distributing traffic over the network to prevent network congestion as much as possible. The simulation of the MCQosR protocol and the MCCR metric shows traffic is distributed and guaranteed service is provided for accepted calls.

본 논문에서는 모바일 IPv6 망에서 트래픽을 모니터링하고 사용자의 이동성 정보를 분석하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법에서는 트래픽 모니터 링을 위한 별도의 소프트웨어를 단말에 설치하지 않고 라우터에서 패킷들을 모니터링하여 핸드오버 지연시간을 분석한다. 라우터에서 플로우 기반 트래픽 모니터링을 수행하기 위하여 표준 플로우 기반 트래픽 모니터링 방법인 IPFIX를 사용한다. 따라서, 단말과 상관없이 라우터에서의 모니터링만으로 사용자의 이동성에 대한 정보를 분석할 수 있는 장점을 가진다. 제안한 방법을 검증하기 위하여 실제 구축된 802.11 기반의 모바일 IPv6 망에서 이동성 실험을 수행하여 핸드오버를 측정하고 분석하였다. 실험을 통하여 분석된 결과 다운로드의 핸드오버 지연시간 측정 결과는 약간의 오차를 포함하였지만, 업로드의 핸드오버 지연시간 측정은 정확한 결과를 보여주었다.

원거리에 분산되어 있는 다수의 농축수산업 양식시설을 원격으로 감시하고 관리하기 위한 시스템으로 각각의 시설에 대한 온도, 습도, 전원 등의 환경 데이타를 수집한 후, 전화회선을 통하여 관리자측으로 전송하면 관리자측에서는 수신된 데이터를 수치로 표시하므로써 시설들의 환경상태를 원거리에서 항상 파악할 수 있는 시스템을 연구하였단. 시스템의 구성을 위하여 환경상태를 정확하게 검출할 수 있는 센싱회로와 멀티프로쎄싱을 위한 통신회로 그리고 데이터의 전송과 취득에 대한 알고리즘을 실험적으로 구현하였다. 즉, 저가의 설치와 운용비용으로 시설을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있으며, 생산성 의 향상은 물론 재해를 사전에 예방할 수 있는 효과를 기대하는 시스템이다.
