The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the effects of pre-formed space charges by DC stress on partial discharge(PD) characteristics in XLPE. We have suggested a modified pulsed electro-acoustic(PEA) method and successfully measured both space charge distribution and current simultaneously. It has been demonstrated that the PD patterns are strongly influenced by the pre-formed space charge distributions, which are hardly disappeared up to AC 8㎸ in electrode configuration including air gap between XLPE layer and electrode. From the results, it could be said that the pre-formed space charges by DC stress can play harmful and dangerous roles in insulating system under AC operating voltages because of the field distortion and localization due to the pre-formed space charge.

This study explored the sandplay therapy case of a middle-aged woman having difficulty with interpersonal relationships and wanting to increase her self-identity. The goal of the therapy was to change her relationships with others by self-examination and becoming conscious of her negative animus and femininity in a free and protected space provided by sandplay therapy. Forty-five therapy sessions were held. The client exhibited her lonesomeness and fantasies by making sandtrays of a house she would like to live in, a park she would like to relax at and dreams she would like to fulfill in the initial phase of therapy (1~8, Who am I?). In the intermediate phase of therapy (9~33, Meeting myself), she displayed scenes of her negative self and breaking away from her negative self by making sandtrays of shadows, deaths, creations, a soaring scene and a disappearing alligator. In the final phase of therapy (34~45, Discovery of the real Self), she showed scenes of her meeting a positive self by making sandtrays of hope, coexistence, start, harmony and community. This study showed the effectiveness of sandplay therapy since the client' relationships with others were improved through her self-awareness by sandplay therapy in the free and protected space.

Results of 6 nights of CCD VR photometry of the nova-like variable V603 Aquilae (Nova Aquilae 1918) obtained at the Mallorcian 35-cm telescope in July 2004 are reported. The ephemeris for the superhump maximum is Max.HJD=2453213.60546(96)+0.14813(10)E. The waves with $3.^d9,\;1.^d4,\;0.^d135$ are statistically significant, which may be interpreted as the negative superhump-orbital, the beat periods (negative superhump- positive superhump) and the negative superhump with low amplitude, respectively. Another possible time-scale is $0.^d8,$ which has no coincidence with the beat periods. Quasi-periodic oscillations with an effective period of 18 minutes have been detected, which are close to 15.6 minutes reported by some authors. Their effective semi-amplitudes are $^m.045\;and\;0^m.051$ for V and R, respectively. This corresponds to the 0.12 mag excess in the color index V-R as compared with the mean color, which can be understood as the pulsed emission in the hotter inner parts of the accretion disk, similar to that observed in TT Ari and MV Lyr.

This study is performed by method for the influx of natural light in underground space. to solve the several negative underground issues make the covered courtyard and high reflected wall toward the adjacent space. for illuminance level test of sunken garden space, the adjacent space size is $15M{\times}9M{\times}12M$ sunken Garden with space to install the ceiling on the size of the companion light performance analysis, and seasonal changes derived by the light of changes in performance. In addition, increase the distance of the wall and the adjacent space and estimate the average at true time P.M12. The resulting data indicate that the road was an average lux DESKTOP RADIANCE of the modeling and analysis was conducted.

A bipolar magnetic field perturbation in the meridional plane was observed when the Polar spacecraft crossed the plasmapause near the midnight, which was identified by a clear jump in density and temperature, from the plasmasheet to the plasmasphere. The bipolar variation shows a negative-then-positive polarity. To examine the bipolar magnetic field perturbation at the plasmapause, we assume one-dimensional model with physical quantities varying along a direction normal to the plasmapause and employ two-fluid approach for the tangential plasmapause. That is, the magnetic fields on both sides are parallel. Considering Ampere's law and pressure balance relation, we have a perturbed magnetic field, which is consistent with the observation at the plasmapause.

We show that a weak solution of the Cauchy problem for he nonlinear Schrodinger equation, {i∂(sub)t u + ∂$^2$(sub)x u = f(u,u), t∈(-T,T), x∈R, u(0,x) = ø(x).} in the negative solbolev space H(sup)s has a smoothing effect up to real analyticity if the initial data only have a single point singularity such as the Dirac delta measure. It is shown that for H(sup)s (R)(s>-3/4) data satisfying the condition (※Equations, See Full-text) the solution is analytic in both space and time variable. The argument is based on the recent progress on the well-posedness result by Bourgain [2] and Kenig-Ponce-Vega [18] and previous work by Kato-Ogawa [12]. We give an improved new argument in the regularity argument.

A commutative hypercomplex system $L_1$(Q,m) is, roughly speaking, a space which is defined by a structure measure (c(A,B, r), (A,$B{\in}{\beta}$(Q)). Such space has bee studied by Berezanskii and Krein. Our main purpose is to establish a generalization of convolution semigroups and to discuss the role of the L$\'{e}$vy measure in the L$\'{e}$vy-Khinchin representation in terms of continuous negative definite functions on the dual hypercomplex system.

This study is about apartment greening to improve urban environment. To achieve this, questionnaires concerning the planter preferences were distributed. To improve perpendicular greening methods for apartments, MOCT (The Ministry of Construction and Transportation) reformed the law to obligate constructors to make apartment planters in June, 2000. But apartment residents take negative attitudes to making green space. It is difficult to manage the planters as well, so it is necessary that the point at making green spaces at apartments be scrutinized through questionnaires and an active method for making and managing the planter be made. The results show that apartment residents are reluctant to pay the expenses for planting and managing planters and have negative attitudes about plant purchases. If planting and managing of simplified planters are continually entrusted to residents, even vertical landscapes will be affected by illegal diversion and negligence as a result. Therefore, support from governments and local administrations are needed and legal obligation should be imposed on construction companies to install irrigation facilities.

In this paper, an approach to the design of negative impedance stabilizing controllers for PWM DC/DC converters that are used in DC switching. power supplies with constant power loads is presented. The control approach is based on the feedback linearization technique. Because of the negative impedance destabilizing characteristics of constant power loads, classical linear control methods have stability limitations around the operating points. However, the proposed stabilizing technique improves large-signal stability and dynamic responses. The proposed controllers are simulated and their responses under different operations are studied. Stability of the control technique is also verified using the second theorem of Lyapunov.

Korean urban traditional housing abandoned by the social apathy promptly disappearing form our sight, or ruining. It tells that the strategies we are using today are impossible to fulfill socio-economic needs of residents here. So it needed to find out the strategies which can change this place better to live in. Consolidating the street parking lots fer cars can be one of the important solutions to the area. By using cul-de-sac, after setting up small unit of communities, we will have chance to have a small public space, and at the same time it can help to set up our tradition of people's intimacy inside the community. Most people have their own cars, and the need of parking lots becomes more serious. So, a meeting place like public well in the past must replace parking lots. On the other hand, it is important to re-consolidate existing land to obtain appropriate land size for other uses. Today, the use of private space (house, private lots, etc..)and public space(streets, local offices) is very important. NIMBY (Not In My Back Yard) attitude should also be reconsidered. All these negative social aspects come from negative social relationship, thus we should consider them with care and deep understandings. The traditional housing of Korea should not be abandoned as slum, but this should be transformed in terms of the conservation since it is superior in its ecological and energy conservation aspect.
