Purpose: Fever is a common problem in children. Misconceptions about fever are exacerbated by variations in knowledge and practice of pediatric nurses. The purposes of this study were to identify the knowledge and attitude toward fever and its management and to identify the relationship between knowledge and attitude. Methods: A descriptive correlation study was conducted with 114 pediatric nurses in G city. Self-administered questionnaire was used for data collection. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test or ANOVA and Pearson correlation analysis. Results: The mean percent of correct responses for physiology of fever, fever management and antipyretics was 51.3%. Knowledge of antipyretics was lower than knowledge of other items with 29.2% correct. Both positive and negative attitudes were discovered. Pediatric nurses' in this study reported negative attitudes toward beneficial effects of fever and positive attitudes toward use of antipyretics to prevent febrile convulsions and reduction of temperatures as low as $38.3^{\circ}C$. There was no statistically significant correlation between knowledge and attitude related to fever management. Conclusion: The findings suggest that improvements are needed in management practices of pediatric nurses. Educational interventions to increase knowledge of fever management by pediatric nurses and to strengthen positive attitudes about childhood fever are recommended.
Previous studies showed that traditional attitudes toward consumer credit and the accumulation of debtare declining, especially among younger life stage groups. The social stigma of high debt levels has largely gone. However, only a few researchers have studied and changes in consumers' attitudes toward credit and its determinants. This study investigates factors related to the probability of respondents having favorable or unfavorable attitudes using the 1992-2004 U.S. Surveys of Consumer Finances. A logistic analysis was used since the dependent variables were binary. All other things equal, respondents in 1995, 1998, 2001 and 2004 were significantly less likely to have favorable or unfavorable attitudes toward credit than otherwise similar respondents in 1992, but the patterns did not correspond well to the changes in the bankruptcy rate. Black and Hispanic respondents were more likely to have favorable attitudes and less likely to have unfavorable attitudes than were otherwise similar white respondents, but those in the Other group, mostly Asians, were not significantly different from whites. Respondents with college degrees were less likely to have a positive attitude and more likely to have a negative attitude than those without a college degree. Respondents who took risks with investments were more likely to have a positive attitude and less likely to have a negative attitude than those unwilling to take risks. Implications for understanding of credit use are discussed. This publication was made possible by a generous grant from the NASD Investor Education Foundation.
This study analyzes factors that determine the usage of digital information by senior consumers in the mobile environment. Senior consumers are alienated from digital information in South Korea; therefore, there have been increasing attempts to resolve this digital divide and reduce the digital information usage gap between young adults and senior consumers. The study used panel data from the National Information Society Agency (2017); there were 1,463 participants, aged 50-79 years. SPSS 19.0 was used to conduct the statistical analyses for frequency, factor analysis, Cronbach' ${\alpha}$ analysis, descriptive analysis and hierarchical multiple-regression analysis. The results are as follows. First, negative attitude toward information society negatively influenced the mobile digital information usage in diversity context. Second, average monthly income, degree of digital device usage motivation, positive attitude toward digital device usage, digital literacy of PC & Mobile, and family support positively influenced the mobile digital information usage in diversity context. Third, negative attitudes toward information society negatively influenced the mobile digital information usage in quality context. Forth, average monthly income, degree of digital device usage motivation, positive attitude toward digital device usage, digital literacy of PC & mobile, and family support positively influenced the mobile digital information usage in quality context. The study results can help further understand mobile usage behaviors among senior citizens and the implications on their quality of life in the digital information era.

This paper focuses on the importance of self-regulated learning. Through this learning strategy, learners will form more positive attitudes and reduce negative attitudes toward the 4th industrial era. This attitude change will lead to an improvement in learners' career decision-making efficacy as a sense of future efficacy. As a result of the study, it was demonstrated that self-regulated learning improves career decision-making efficacy through the mediating effect of positive attitude formation toward the fourth industry. The purpose of this study is to classify the attitudes of Korean people regarding foreign workers and to analyze the influence factors. Analysis of the attitude difference and the influential factors utilized the SPSS ${\chi}^2$ test and multinomial logistic regression analysis using 2016 data obtained from the 'Koreans' Consciousness and Values'. Socio-demographic variables, national identity, and socioeconomic variables were used as explanatory variables. The attitude types (friendly, negative, and dual) of respondents were identified, and the influence of explanatory variables influencing these attitudes was identified. Analysis found they have a relatively generous stance on granting legal rights, while they are negative regarding the economic and social threats from foreign workers. As a result of analyzing the factors affecting attitudes, there are significant differences in each influence. However, negative attitudes and dual attitude concerning with negative legal rights found common to the influence of the factors of national identity. Gender and ratio of foreign workers were influential factors for dual attitudes with a high economic threat. On the other hand, socioeconomic factors reflecting the realistic conflict theory were not found to have any effect. The negative attitude of foreign workers in our society can be regarded as cognitive threats rather than realistic experiences or conflicts.

The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of materialism on the attitude toward purchasing foreign luxury brands and the moderating effect of consumer ethnocentrism on this impact. Data were gathered by surveying university students living in Seoul metropolitan area using convenient sampling, and 325 questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis. In analysing data, confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis were conducted using structural equation modeling. Results showed that success factor of materialism gave rise to negative attitude toward purchasing foreign luxury brands while centrality factor of materialism spurred positive attitude. Consumer ethnocentrism also showed a significant effect as a moderator on the relationship between materialism and attitude: The relationship between materialism and attitude was stronger among subjects who had lower consumer ethnocentric tendencies than among subjects who had higher consumer ethnocentric tendencies.

This study analyzed some data including parental attitude and self_esteem from KCYPS. Parental attitude was supposed not to change as time goes by. The analytical results are the followings. First, the change rate and intercept of adolescent's self-esteem were significant, which means the change pattern of self-esteem depends on adolescent. Second, positive parental attitudes influence on the change pattern of adolescent's self-esteem significantly. Third, negative parental attitude influence on the change pattern of adolescent's self-esteem significantly. This study suggests some policy implications basing on these analytical results.

But, there was negative significant correlation between nutrient intake of the children and mother's employment. The physical growth was affected more maternal nutrition attitude than education level and nutrition knowledge, whereas had negative correlation with maternal employment.
