Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the awareness of dental hygienists in public health center towards multicultural family and educational needs to provide information on community oral health programs. Methods : The subjects were 74 recruited from 126 dental hygienists in 14 public dental clinics in Jeonbuk Province. A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 64 dental hygienists in charge of dental health care. Data were anlatzed by the statistical package SPSS WIN 12.0. Results : The characteristics of the subjects had no impact on their positive multicultural awareness, and there existed differences by age, rank and period of services in the channel of information acquisition. They got 3.5 out of five in multicultural awareness showing a positive way. The types of medical services for multicultural family revealed that they provided oral health education, dental checkup services and simple treatment covered by health insurance. Health insurance accounted for 15.4 percent of dental services. The obstacles to dental services in multicultural family were communication problems, poor concern for oral health and cultural gaps. They got 3.86 out of five points in educational needs for multicultural family who need the dental education most. The multicultural family showed the higher score in every question. Conclusions : Public health center dental clinics should help dental hygienists to acquire information on multicultural family. Public health center should provide the easy access way of dental health checkup for the multicultural family.

Purpose: This study was intended to gain an in-depth understanding of and explored the experiences and meanings of participating in care services among community-dwelling older adults. Methods: A focus group interview approach was adopted. Twenty older adults were interviewed from November to December 2021 using semi-structured interview questions. The data was analyzed using thematic analysis. Results: Three main themes and seven sub-themes emerged for the elderly people living alone. One main theme was "ambivalence of elderly care services," the second was "desperate need for care services," and the third was "positive changes and expectations experienced with care services." For the elderly people living with their families, two main themes and four sub-themes were identified. One main theme was "care services met within the family system," the second was "needs for care services outside the family system." Conclusion: We aim to provide a basis for strengthening the quality of elderly community care services in the mid- to long-term and establish a system of close linkages between necessary services by understanding the needs of elderly people who live alone or with their families.

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the self-care education experience, self-care performance, and home care service needs of patients with rare and incurable diseases who use a home ventilator. Methods: From2 ventilator rental companies and 5 hospitals, records of 162 subjects were collected to obtain data regarding self-care education experience (23 items) and home care service needs (25 items). Results: Of the subjects, 65.4% were male and 55.6% had a myotrophic lateral sclerosis. The items with the highest and lowest levels of self-care education experience were "using the ventilator"(94.0%) and "community-available resource information"(27.0%), respectively. Meanwhile, self-care was performed well in terms of "personal hygiene"(59.6%) but not performed well in "community-available resource information"(23.7%). "Health status assessment" had the highest need(88.2%) of home care services. Generally, the need of home care services was higher for the patients using invasive ventilators than that for those using non-invasive ventilators. Conclusion: Home care nurses need to not only provide physical care for the patients but also strengthen their roles of enhancing patient access to and utilization of various community resources to provide systematic and individualized training and care.

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to understand low-income elders' experiences of community-based u-Health services. Methods: Qualitative data were collected from 11 participants. All interviews were recorded and transcribed verbatim. The transcribed data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis. Results: Three themes and eight sub-themes emerged as a result of analysis. The three main themes were 'recovered confidence and health condition,' 'trial and error in change,' and 'hope.'The eight sub-themes were 'the burden and efforts to overcome it in using bio-signal device,' 'ambivalence due to changing lifestyle,' 'increase of care time, decrease of pressure', 'conflict under environmental constraints,' 'difficulty in prioritizing health management,' 'discouragement in handling new devices,' 'desire not to be a burden to their children-gradual fulfillment of learning needs,' and 'long for broadening coverage range of services.' Conclusion: The findings of this study demonstrate that low-income elders among the participants have different needs in using u-Health services. Therefore, health professionals need to give personalized education to deal with their conflicts and requirements, especially emotional and environmental support in order for them to successfully accept the u-Health services for self-care.

기업 업무의 스마트워크 요구로 모바일 서비스의 사용이 증가하고 있으며, 기업 업무의 다양한 요구사항을 대응할 수 있는 모바일 서비스 구조에 대한 연구가 요구된다. 모바일 서비스의 다양성을 제공하기 위해 커스터마이제이션에 대한 연구들이 모바일 플랫폼에 적용되도록 연구되어야 한다. 모바일 서비스가 다른 서비스들과의 연동 및 디바이스 연속성을 제공하기 위해 공개 인터페이스(Open API)를 이용하여 서비스들 간의 통합을 가능하게 해야 한다. 본 논문에서 이러한 서비스들 간의 통합을 통해 다양한 요구사항을 만족시킬 수 있는 매쉬업 커스터마이제이션 기법을 제안한다.

본 연구의 목적은 대학도서관에서 이용자의 연구를 지원하는 정보서비스를 활성화하기 위하여 이용자 특성과 요구에 기반 한 정보서비스 개발에 도움이 될 수 있는 기초자료를 제시하는데 있다. 본 연구는 탐험적인 연구로써 실제 이용자를 대상으로 정보서비스 전 과정을 조사 분석하였다. 이용자와 정보제공자 사이의 면담과정과 정보서비스에 대한 정보제공자의 관점에 의하면, 이용자 정보 및 주제 분석, 효과적인 면담방법, 커뮤니케이션 기술, 정보제공자의 정보서비스에 대한 인식 및 핵심능력이 효과적인 정보서비스의 중요한 요소임을 나타내었다.

Modernization of the medical healthcare system, through the use of technology, has become an important field of study today. The healthcare system is intended to efficiently deliver care and services to consumers. It is such that the healthcare system is defined as an industry which provides health services (health activities) so as to meet the health needs and demands of individuals, the family and the community. In this study, transforming healthcare so as to better meet the needs of patients will require changes in the strength of delivering care for patients who already have good access to services, while also improving the care for patients who find it harder to get the care they need.

Personalized reminder systems have to identify the user's current needs dynamically and proactively based on the user's current context. However, need identification methodologies and their feasible architectures for personalized reminder systems have so far been rare. Hence, this paper aims to propose a proactive need identification mechanism by applying agent and semantic web technologies and RFID-based context subsystem for a personalized reminder system, which is one of the supporting systems for a robust ubiquitous service support environment. We have created a prototype system, RFID-based NAMA (Need Aware Multi-Agent), to demonstrate the feasibility of the methodology and of the mobile settings framework that we propose in this paper. NAMA considers the context, user profile with preferences, and information about currently available services, to discover the user's current needs and then link the user to a set of services, which are implemented as web services.

This study aims to propose the residential service for Active senior from the age of 40's to 60's who prefers urban-type lifestyle. The lifestyle for Active senior was reorganized into the 5 main categories; convenience, well-being & activity, community, brand & Individuality and self-expression from the recent studies about the senior lifestyle. According to the lifestyle above, I propose the residential services to meet their needs. The result of the research, it showed that the services comcerned about the lifestyle; one stop living service, customized activity & health program, open community, various choices & facility differentiation and life-long education & working opportunity can be possible and more helpful in meeting the active senior's needs.

본 연구는 기존 노인돌봄서비스의 사회적가치지향성과 서비스 이용 노인의 안녕감을 평가하고, 돌봄 욕구에 대한 수요를 확인하여 우리나라 노인돌봄 정책의 발전 방향을 모색하고자 실시되었다. 2019년 10월 기준 3개월 이상 노인돌봄기본서비스를 이용한 노인 1,501명을 편의표집하였으며, 빈도분석 및 기술통계분석, t-검정, 분산분석 등을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 돌봄 서비스의 사회적가치지향성은 평균 90.93점이며, 돌봄 서비스 이용 노인의 안녕감은 71.29점으로 나타났다. 분산분석 및 사후분석 결과 사회적가치지향성을 보다 높다고 인식한 집단에서 노인들의 안녕감이 통계적으로 유의미하게 높았다. 한편 돌봄 서비스 중단 시 우려되는 점에 대해 "외로움", "고독사", "안전" 등의 키워드가 도출되었으며, 향후 필요한 서비스로 '일상생활 지원 서비스'에 대한 욕구가 가장 높았다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 노인돌봄서비스의 발전 방향 모색 및 노인돌봄 체계 구축에 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
