장애아동 가족지원 서비스 요구 및 만족도 조사 (A Needs Assesment and Satisfaction Level of Family Support Services for Preschoolers with Disabilities)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the needs assessment and satisfaction level of family support services for preschoolers with disabilities. The subjects were 146 mothers and 138 teachers of 3- to 6-year- old preschool children with disabilities in integrated kindergartens in Daegu, Seoul, and Kyungnam. The major findings of this study were as follows. First, mothers needed information and financial support most. The level of the mother's needs was related to the type and degree of disabilities, child's sex, child's age, mother's educational level, and father's occupation. Second, the satisfaction level of mothers in the integrated kindergarten education programs was generally low. Third, mothers needed parental training of child's problem behavior, mother-child interactions program, and parental education of developing child's creativity.

학령기 아동을 위한 방과후 탁아 프로그램 연구 (Developing an After-School Child Care Program)

  • This study assessed the needs and aspirations for after-school programs for 421 employed mothers with a school-age child. Furthermore, 20 cases of after-school programs presently opened in Seoul and Kyungkido were analyzed and evaluated in terms of the factors related to quality of child care programs. A tentative after-school program model was developed on the basis of data from the assesment of parental requests and the evaluation of the present programs. The objectives of after-school programs, program activities, caregiver's role, group constellation, supervision of the programs, and care service time were discussed in the model.

Comparative Study on Needs Assessment of Health Education for Adolescences

  • This study was administered to analyze important needs for the health education among Chinese, Korean-Chinese adolescents in Gilin, China and Korean adolescents in Seoul, Korea. The data were collected from 400 chinese and 200 Korean-Chinese boys and girls of 3 high schools in Gilin, China and 396 boys and girls of 3 high schools in Seoul, Korea. The results were as follow: 1. The prevalence of smoking and drinking in Korean students was quite high among three groups. More than one third of Korean students had behaviors of smoking and drinking. Forty two point five percent of Korean students were sick during the past 4 weeks, but only 10.8% of Korean-Chinese students and 11.5% of Chinese students were sick during the past 4 weeks. More than 70% of Chinese and Korean-Chinese students had health concern, but only 22.7% of Korean students were interested in health status and education. 2. Korean-Chinese and Chinese students had higher health education needs than the Korean students. They were not interested in sex education. On the other hand, Korean students were interested in mental health and health habits. 3. Korean-Chinese students had more health education needs than Chinese or Korean adolescents and the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05). 4. For the Chinese and Korean-Chinese students, the higher prevalence of drinking behavior, the higher needs of health education, and the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05). 5. The Chinese students tended to need health education after their illness experience, but the Korean students, the higher the self- rating health status, the higher health education need scores were(p<0.05).

주야간보호시설 이용 노인의 일상생활수행능력과 노인 및 주부양자의 간호요구도 조사 (Activities of Daily Living of the Elderly Using Day and Night Care Facilities and the Nursing Needs of the Elderly and their Caregivers)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the activities of daily living of the elderly in day and night care facilities and the nursing needs of the elderly and caregivers. Methods: The subjects of this study were 90 elderly people and their caregivers, who lived in B and G cities used day and night care facilities. The collected data were analyzed using frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, independent t-test, and Pearson's correlation coefficient using the SPSS 25.0 program. Results: Caregivers have a higher awareness of nursing needs than the elderly. Both the elderly and their caregivers had the highest informational nursing requirements. There was a positive correlation between the activities of daily living of the elderly and physical nursing needs of caregivers, and there was also a positive correlation among the nursing needs in each area. Conclusion: These results suggest that day and night care facilities should provide customized nursing services by assessing the activities of daily living of the elderly and the nursing needs of the elderly and caregivers by area before establishing a nursing plan. This will enable them to provide effective nursing services for elderly people. In addition, we propose research to develop a nursing information program for the elderly and caregivers.

한ㆍ일간의 초등학교 수학과 새교육과정 비교연구 (A Comparative Study of New Curriculum Between Korea and Japan in Elementary Mathematics)

  • 한국은 수학과에 있어서 단계형 수준별 교육과정을 도입하여 지금까지와는 다른 수학교육의 기본 틀을 바꾸었다. 그리고 수학 운영 시수를 감축하고 이에 따른 학습 내용을 줄이거나 조정하였다. 일본은 주 5일제 수업3)의 전면 실시에 따라 수학과의 운영 시수가 줄어들게 되었고, 수학과 운영 시수의 8할 정도로도 표준적인 수업4)이 이루어 질 수 있도록 내용을 엄선하여 여유 있는 가운데 교수ㆍ학습이 이루어지도록 하였다. 한국과 일본은 학생들의 구체적인 경험을 대단히 중요시하여 수학적 활동을 통한 학생의 주체적 학습을 강조하고 있다. 그러나 한국은 일본에 비해 약 80% 정도의 시간으로 더 많은 학습량을 더 빨리 학습하고 있다. 이는 일본의 학생이 한국의 학생에 비해 더 여유를 가지고 학습을 하며 교육과정의 운영도 더욱 융통성을 가질 수 있음을 뜻한다. 그리고 일본이 수와 계산 영역에 있어서 한국의 학생보다 1년 늦게 학습하면서 또 반복학습을 강조하여 수의 개념과 계산 원리의 이해와 계산 기능을 수학과의 기초ㆍ기본으로서 중시하고 있으며, 한국은 도형의 개념과 도형감각 기르기를 강화하였다.

간호학생과 간호사의 방사선 방어에 대한 지식, 태도와 교육 요구 (Knowledge, Attitude, and Education Needs of Radiation Protection Among Nursing Students and Nurses)

  • 본 연구는 간호학생과 간호사를 대상으로 방사선 방어에 대한 지식, 태도와 교육 요구를 조사하여 방사선 방어에 대한 중요성을 인지하도록 하고, 나아가 방사선 방어를 위한 안전관리의 효과적인 교육 프로그램 개발에 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. B광역시에 소재한 일 대학의 3, 4학년 간호학생(n=139)과 간호사(n=135) 총 274명을 대상으로 45문항의 설문지로 방사선 방어에 대한 지식, 태도, 교육 요구를 조사하였다. 그 결과 방사선 방어를 위한 안전관리 교육이 미흡한 실정이고, 이에 비해 교육요구와 참여의사는 매우 높으며, 방사선 방어에 대한 지식이 높을수록 방사선 방어에 대한 태도 또한 높아진다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 대상자의 교육 요구를 반영한 교육과정 개발이 매우 필요하며, 간호사의 외부교육 또는 병원 자체교육에서도 방사선 방어에 대한 프로그램의 운영이 필요하다고 볼 수 있다. 또한 교육 효과를 높이기 위하여 전문가를 통한 강연과 시청각 자료를 활용한 교육이 요구된다.

교원 대상 학교안전관리 역량 강화 프로그램 개발을 위한 교육 요구분석 (A Needs Assessment for Teachers' School Safety Management Competency Development Program)

  • Purpose: Recently, various accidents and incidents occurred in our school environment, making it necessary to enhance teachers' competency in school safety management. To this end, this study was conducted to analyze the needs of teachers related to school safety management competency development. Methods: For this purpose, the existing teacher's task analysis related to school safety management was revised and surveys were conducted to measure teachers' present level, expectative level and importance of the items based on the task analysis. To analyze the data, Borich Needs Assessment and The Locus for Focus Model were used. Results: In the t-test between the teachers' present level and expectative level about school safety management, all 39 tasks were related (p<.001). The priorities in developing teachers' competency in school safety management were found to be the 6 tasks listed below: 'To deal with each type of accident,' 'To implement CPR and defibrillator,' 'To use fire extinguishers and fire hydrants,' 'To use descending life lines,' 'To give first aid,' and 'To cope with elevator accidents.' Conclusion: By utilizing the results of the teacher's competency and need assesment as components, teachers' training programs can be made more applicable to the school setting. In addition, more experience-based programs should be considered when designing teachers' training programs in order to apply the priority found from the teacher's need assessment.

  • Over the years, scientists have developed many test methods to evaluate the efficacy of skin care products. The needs for objective assessment have stimulated to develop instruments that are capable of reliably monitoring some parameters in evaluating skin conditions. The beauty is evaluated as a measure of smoothness of skin surface. Quantitative size measurements of skin pores is also important concept to evaluate the their conditions. The purpose of this paper is to measure the temperature change of skin and the size of pores in the skin. The pore sizes were changed by its varying skin temperature. They were decreased by applying a essence which is contained with propellant and contents.

A Local Influence Approach to Regression Diagnostics with Application to Robust Regression

  • Regression diagnostics often involves assesment of the changes that result from deleting multiple cases. Diagnostic mehtodology based on global influence measure, however, needs prohibitive computing time. As an alternative, Cook (1986) developed influence approach in which it is checked whether a minor modification of specifiation influences key results of an analysis. In line with Cook's development, we propose and study an inflence derivative method that yields both the magnitude and direction of case influences. The utility of our methodology is highlighted when case influence derivatives are plotted in a lower demensional space. Such plots are especially effective in unmasking "masked" observations in least squares regression and in robust regression also. We give several illustrations.strations.

교통영향평가제도 개선방안 연구

  • The objectives of this study are first, to evaluate the actual performance of the Transportation Impact Assesment System of Korea, second, to find the institutional problems of the system, and third, to seek for the best improvement of the system. Total 70 assessment reports performed in 1988 and judgements of the municipal councils of the reports were inspected. And the legal system of all levels were reviewed. According to the results, there are some needs to expand the number of cities subject to the assessment system. And the several regulations about the qualification of the agents assessing transportation impacts, the composition and operation of the municipal councils, and the timing of assessing the impacts are turned out improper. A proper alternative of amendment of the regulations are recommended. And the establishment of central council for judging assessments of hudge facilities, adoption of joint assessment of facilities bellow the standard, post occupancy assess ent, and transportation fee system were also recommended.
