점-조화 가진에 의한 양단 자유지지 경계 조건을 갖는 원통 셸의 방사 효율 특성에 관한 연구 (The Study of the Characteristics of Radiation Efficiency from the Point-Excited Cylindrical Shell under the Free Ends)

  • 본 논문은 상용 FEM-BEM 프로그램을 사용하여 점-조화 가진(harmonic point excitation)에 의한 자유지지 경계 조건을 갖는 원통 셸(cylindrical shell)의 방사 효율(radiation efficiency) 실험의 결과와 비교하였다. 우선 충격 해머 실험(impact hammer test)을 통한 모드 시험(modal testing)으로 원통 셸의 공진 주파수(natural frequency)와 모드 형상(mode shape)의 특징을 살펴보고 다음으로 점-조화 가진에 의한 원통 셸의 방사 효율을 SYSNOISE와 ANSYS로 해석해 보았다. 동시에 음향 세기 실험을 통한 방사 효율을 측정하여 전산 해석의 결과와 실험의 결과를 비교해 보았다.

  • Using the normalized sample Lorenz curve which is introduced by Kang and Cho (2001), we propose the test statistics for testing of normality that is very important test in statistical analysis and compare the proposed test with the other tests in terms of the power of test through by Monte Carlo method. The proposed test is more power than the other tests except some cases

k-Sample Rank Procedures for Ordered Location-Scale Alternatives

  • Some rank score tests are proposed for testing the equality of all sampling distribution functions against ordered location-scale alternatives in k-sample problem. Under the null hypothesis and a contiguous sequence of ordered location-scale alternatives, the asymptotic properties of the proposed test statistics are investigated. Also, the asymptotic local powers are compared with each others. The results show that the proposed tests based on the Hettmansperger-Norton type statistic are more powerful than others for the general ordered location-scale alternatives. However, the Shiraishi's tests based on the sum of two Bartholomew's rank analogue statistics are robust.

자동선반 기어박스의 진동방지 (Vibration Reduction or the Gear Box of an NC Machine)

  • This article proposes the analytical and experimental approaches for the reduction of vibration generated in the gear box of an NC machine. The lateral critical speed of main spindle and torsional natural frequencies were analyzed and the impact testing of gear box was performed. These results were compared with the forced operating speeds, The vibration was much diminished by redesign of gear module and reinforcement of box structure.

  • The analysis of the free vibrations of a circular cylindrical shell with a logitudinal, interior rectangular plate is performed. The natural frequencies and the mode shapes of the combined shells are experimentally obtained by impact testing using an impact hammer and an accelerometer. The effects of the position of the plate on the frequencies and mode shapes of the combined system are examined. The experimental results are compared with a finite element analysis and show good agreement.

  • Air spring system in railway vehicles primarily ensure the air suspension of the vehicle body. The low natural frequency ensures a comfortable ride and an invariably good stiffness. In this paper, the characteristics and durability test was conducted in laboratory by using servo-hydraulic fatigue testing system to reliability evaluation of air spring for electric railway vehicle. The experimental results show that the characteristics and durability of domestic development productions are obtained the good results.

  • The life expectancy of a transformer largely depends on the temperature-rise it experiences. If the temperature-rise exceeds limits specified in the design standards, the aging of insulating materials is accelerated and the capability of the cooling medium is deteriorated. Consequently, applicable limits for the temperature-rise are essential in designing the transformer and the coolers, demanding the estimation of the transformer's thermal behavior. In order to analyze the temperature characteristics of the transformer, numerical analysis by way of the commercial CFD code has been carried out, and temperature-rise testing to verify computed results was performed. The results obtained in this study show that there is a good agreement between computed outcomes and experimental outcomes.

  • Almost every material of PVD (Prefabricated Vertical Drain) has the fatal problem on the condition - the length must shorten with the settlement of the surrounding grounds - which all PVDs must satisfy. Kinking deformation by buckling of PVD due to consolidation settlement Is discussed in this paper. A new testing device to clarify the deformation of PVD under consolidation of surrounding clay was developed and the fiber drain and a PVD made of plastics were compared under the same condition of consolidation using natural clay specimens. The results are also shown in this paper.

  • The objective of study on composite cylinder for alternative fuel vehicle is to develop safe, efficient, and commercially viable, on-board fuel storage system for the fuel cell vehicle or natural gas vehicle that use highly compressed gaseous fuel such as hydrogen or natural gas. This study presents the whole procedure of development and certification of a type 3 composite cylinder of 207bar service pressure and 70 liter water capacity, which includes design/analysis, processing of filament winding, and validation through various testing and evaluation. Design methods of liner configuration and winding patterns are presented. Three dimensional, nonlinear finite element analysis techniques are used to predict burst pressure and failure mode. Design and analysis techniques are verified through burst and cycling tests. The full qualification test methods and results for validation and certification are presented.

비계 구조물의 구조해석 및 진동 특성 (Structural Analysis and Vibration Characteristics of Scaffolding Structures)

  • This paper deals with structural analysis and vibration characteristics of scaffolding structures with a hoist according to payloads. In order to analyze the vibrational and structural characteristics for 20-step scaffolding structure, structural and vibrational characteristics for 2-step scaffolding structure were compared with some experimental results. The numerical results for natural frequencies of scaffolding structures have a good agreement with experimental ones. Through the numerical analysis, firstly, it is shown that the maximum stress of scaffolding structures is lower than von-mises yield criteria when four persons with total weight of 280 kgf are working at the top of the scaffolding structures. Secondly, vibration characteristics including natural frequencies and modes for scaffolding structures are shown in case of various kinds of moving masses.
