  • We show the cumulants of a minimal sufficient statistics in k parameter natural exponential family by parameter function and partial parameter function. We nd the cumulants have some merits of central moments and general cumulants both. The first three cumulants are the central moments themselves and the fourth cumulant has the form related with kurtosis.

  • From the seeds of Zizyphus vulgaris var. spinosus, aporphine alkaloids : nuciferine, N-methylasimilobine, nornuciferine, norisocorydine, caaverine and tetrahydro benzylisoquinoline alkaloid : (+) coclaurine were isolated and identified. Zyzyphusine, a new quaternary aporphinium alkaloid form butanol soluble fraction was isolated and characterized by spectral data.

  • In this paper, design sensivity of plate natural frequency is computed for thickness design variables. Once the variational equation is derived from Lagrange quation using the virtual displacement, governing energy bilinear form is obtained and sensivity equation is formulated through the first variation. Natural frequency is obtained using the commercial FEM code and the accuracy of sensivity is verified by finite difference. The accuracy of natural frequency and sensivity improves for the fine mesh model.

  • Graves and Nomizu investigated an indefinite version of the Cartan's result. Specifically they obtained the conditions for all non-degenerate planes to have the same sectional curvature in the in-definite Riemannian manifold. In this paper we are to study the cosym-plective version of the results of Graves and Nomizu and characterize an indefinite cosymplectic spce form.

  • The unusal keto amino acid. (s)-2-amino-8-oxodecanoic acid(Aoda) is a biologically important constituent of the naturally occurring cyclic tetrapeptides such as apicidins. Consequently extensive chemical modifications of Aoda residue of apicidin were studied, and we are obtained the practical and versatile synthesis of the long-chained keto amino acids in enantlomerically pure form by alkylation with bromoketone and chiral Scholkopf auxiilary. • Natural products used for oriental medicine often come from various geographical sources, after several different distribution channels. Therefore some form of quality control procedure is required to safeguard naturl products for prescriptions purposes. To achieve this, systematic apprroaches such as morphological examination, microscopic analysis of powdered herbs and chemical analysis can be carried out. However, to ensure absolute criteria for quality assurance of natural products, DNA fingerprinting method such as RAPD(Random amplified polymorphism DNA) analysis can be used for authentication of natural products for authenticatin of natural products. In this study, warious oligonucleotide primers will be synthesized for the detection of RAPD markers and also parameters of affecting PCR(Polymerase Chain Reaction) in the detection of RAPD markers of rare and high-priced natural products will be studied with genomic DNA of chosen samples.

  • The hat is the most flexible human head covering. Almost entirely enveloping the hair, it can be simple, pure, elegant and mysterious. Yet it is frequently a highly decorative form of dress. The hat also takes a part in the extension of the area of art as soft-sculpture. My purpose of this thesis is to present diverse artistic hats with natural images by nontraditional materials and natural resources. The reason why I select nature as them is that it is absolutely the origin of life and art. To develop the innovative hat design, I focus on the material to extend the range of art expression. I observe nontraditional materials such as wire, paper and so on that enhance heterogenetic feeling from natural images. The attempt is made to enhance the visual effect by harmonizing the disharmonious feeling. Natural resources such as moss, orange, feather and so on could be adapted to the hat and applied for unique design, which supplies new expression. Therefore, the harmony of natural images and natural resources could avoid dullness, bestow elegance and polish the unique beauty creation of the hat.

  • As a fundamental study on the corrosion resistance of reinforced concrete structures using Natural Inorganic Minerals exposed to carbonation environment, The test specimens were concrete(W/C=60%) with Natural Inorganic Minerals content of 0%, 10%. Accelerated carbonation and autoclave corrosion accelerated curing were then conducted with them. The corrosion resistance of steel in concrete with Natural Inorganic Minerals content of 0%, 10% was examined by corrosion form, half-cell potential, polarization resistance, corrosion area and weight loss after 24 hours of autoclave corrosion accelerated curing. The results of the study showed that as for steel in concrete with Natural Inorganic Minerals content of 10%, the corrosion resistance was more excellent than steel in concrete with Natural Inorganic Minerals content of 0%.
