Functional, aesthetic and symbolic working uniforms in the industrial complex are demanded by employees and employers. The purpose of this research was to find out the actual wearing condition and preference of the working uniform design in the industrial complex. The research selected 7 enterprise subjects located in the Changwon National Industrial Complex and adopted a questionnaire method. 912 workers categorized into 4 work groups according to their work posts replied in total. The data and the degrees of satisfaction/preference of the working uniforms were analysed into descriptive statistics and F-tests by using the SPSS S/W package. The results were as follows: First, the style of the working uniform was the standard two-piece style. Second, the degree of the satisfaction with the entrepreneurial image implied to the working uniform was 2.83 throughout the 5-scale evaluation. In addition, the degree of the satisfaction with the working uniform colors was in between 2.94 and 2.96. Third, unsatisfied parts of the upper and lower uniform garments were: sleeve > pocket > collar; and waist belt loop > hip pocket > hem line respectively. Fourth, beige was the most preferred color for the working uniform top and bottom both. The most preferred color images were the calm and safety and the bright and light in order. Especially, the demand on the safety factors and soil proof colors of the outside field workers was much higher than the clerical workers. Fifth, the blouson type jacket with shirts collar or soutien roll collar was more preferred to than the casual style; and the straight formal pants were more preferred to than the casual/sweat sports pants styles. Sixth, inner pockets to keep the mobile phone and pens were required for upper garment details specially by manufacture workers. Increase of the waist belt loop numbers was required by all work groups.
Efficient synthetic routes were developed to prepare a sizable amount (4-15 grams) of the chiral epoxides 4-6 as versatile intermediates for the synthesis of aspartyl protease inhibitors of therapeutic interest such as HIV protease and ${\beta}$-secretase. Oxidative cleavage of the C(2)-C(3) double bond of L-ascorbic acid followed by functional group manipulation led to the preparation of the epoxide 10, which was opened with an azide to yield a common aziridine intermediate 12. Through opening of the aziridine ring of 12 with either a carbon or a sulfur nucleophile, chiral epoxide precursors 4-6 could be prepared for various HIV protease inhibitors. Except for the final low melting epoxides 5 and 6, all intermediates were obtained as crystalline solids, thus the synthetic pathway can be easily applied to a large-scale synthesis of the chiral epoxides.

This case study was conducted by verification the site characteristics based on the questionnaire and interview obtained from the all factories located at No. 1 developing area in Kumi industrial complex. The site characteristics were presumed from the process of location behavior and spatial linkage. Kumi industrial complex was developed to improve export industry at national levels by providing chief land price and benefiting various tax. Kumi industrial complex which enticed many factories is playing an important role in export industry in Korea. At beginning, the detention of large enterprises promoted the establishment of related small to medium sized factories into the complex. Two distinctive industries. textile and electronic, were reflected by the purpose to establish the complex and industrial characteristics of Taegu city. respectively. In Kumi industrial complex, positive responses on traffic and raw material supply and negative reactions on the environmental impact on social community as well as high labor charge were investigated. Especially the higher labor cost prevented to hire laborers effectively. In the linkages of spatial and raw material, most factories in the complex depended on the availability of out side the Kumi city. For the textile factories, the supply of raw material and parts were relied on Taegu and/or other cities, whereas in electronic factories purchased them mainly from other cities and partly from abroad. Although questionnaire and interview suggested it, most of the parts were supplied by a parts maturing companies on the complex to a few large enterprises. In the marketing linkage, textile factories revealed higher relation-ship with the foreign countries and sewing factories in Korea. On the other hand, electronic factories have strong relation-ships in the marketing linkage to the parts supplying companies in the complex or large-scale resembling companies in other cities. In the textile companies, the right for decision on purchasing raw materials and parts is belonging to the owner whereas mother enterprise usually have the right for the marketing. In the case of the electronic factories, all the purchasing activities are related to the sub-contracting companies. In the service linkage, the Quality of the service created spatial distinction. There was high linkages on inside of Kumi complex for the low grade services such as repairing and installing machines, whereas strong linkages on outside of the complex for the high grade services such as management, law, taxation, new product development. and manufacturing technology. In the linkages of activity on the R&D (research and development), electronic factories do not have sufficiently qualified institutes in the complex. Strong regional linkages in the field of textile and electronic industries revealed limitations of the local industrial complex. In the sub-contracting linkage, high linkage ship within Kumi boundary reflected the characteristics of industrial site in the complex. There, most decisions by the companies centered by the mother enterprise.

The study aimed to investigate the actual condition of working clothes in the Changwon National Industrial Complex and to analyze the industrial workers' satisfaction with and preference to the working clothes in terms of the clothing performance and work motion factors. 1 major companies in machinery, automotive, industrial engineering, shipbuilding and rolling stock industries located in the industrial complex were selected as the subject firms. Approximately 900 workers responded to the questionnaire designed for the research and the results derived from the research were as follows. (1) The subject employees were divided into 4 work groups, i.e. the $1^{st}$ work group: managerial, general affairs, sales, production planning; the $2^{nd}$ group: quality assurance, material planning and distribution, product inspection; the $3^{rd}$ group: electric, facilities, machinery, vehicles; and the $4^{th}$ group: cutting, pressing, rolling, welding and coating. (2) The significant work environmental factors considered by all work groups were air ventilation, noise and dust factors and in particular, the most dissatisfied factors evaluated by manufacture workers were insulation, noise, dust and vibration. (3) According to the employees' work motion evaluation, the work motion diversity and frequency increased in proportion to the degree of work intensity. Besides, manufacture workers more frequently wore the working clothes even during the off-duty hours comparing to the evaluation of the other work groups. (4) The most important clothing performance factors considered by manufacture work groups were perspiration absorption, stretch, air permeability, tactile sense softness, soil proof in order.
In order to solve the problem of low tracking accuracy caused by complex noise in the fault diagnosis of complex nonlinear system, a fault diagnosis method of high precision cost reference particle filter (CRPF) is proposed. By optimizing the low confidence particles to replace the resampling process, this paper improved the problem of sample impoverishment caused by the sample updating based on risk and cost of CRPF algorithm. This paper attempts to improve the accuracy of state estimation from the essential level of obtaining samples. Then, we study the correlation between the current observation value and the prior state. By adjusting the density variance of state transitions adaptively, the adaptive ability of the algorithm to the complex noises can be enhanced, which is expected to improve the accuracy of fault state tracking. Through the simulation analysis of a fuel unit fault diagnosis, the results show that the accuracy of the algorithm has been improved obviously under the background of complex noise.

The fine particulate matter($PM_{10}$) concentrations and contents were measured to check the health and environment influential factors in Pohang Iron and Steel Industrial Complex and its vicinities. In addition, the $PM_{10}$ distribution for each year and season was surveyed using the regional air quality monitoring stations. The measuring on the $PM_{10}$ inside the industrial complex showed $61.3{\pm}12.1{\mu}g/m^3$ for average concentration of $PM_{10}$ which was measured by Dongil Industry and $44.3{\pm}8.1{\mu}g/m^3$ measured by steel manufacturing industry complex management office. Both of them satisfied the environmental air quality standard. The percentage of $SO_4{^2}$, $NO_3{^-}$, $NH_4{^+}$ which are the secondary ions created out of the $PM_{10}$ in Dongil Industry and steel manufacturing industry complex management office was checked and it was revealed that the percentage of ${SO_4}^{2-}$ was high and it is considered that the pollution source related with the sulfides exist at the industrial complex. They were in order of ${SO_4}^{2-}$ > $Cl^-$ > $NO_3{^-}$ > $F^-$ > $NH_4{^+}$ in Dongil Industry and ${SO_4}^{2-}$ > $Cl^-$ > $NO_3{^-}$ > $NH_4{^+}$ > $F^-$ in steel manufacturing industry complex management office.

An end-of-life strategy is concerned with how to disassemble a product and what to do with each of the resultingdisassembled parts. A sound understanding of the end-of-life strategy at the early design stage could improve theease of disassembly and recycling in an efficient and effective manner. Therefore, the end-of-life decisionmaking for environmental conscious design has become a great concern to product manufacturers. We introduce a novel concept ofeco-architecture which represents a scheme by which the physical componentsare allocated to end-of-life modules. An end-of-life module is a physical chunk of connected components or afeasible subassembly which can be simultaneously processed by the same end-of-life option without furtherdisassembly. In this paper, a method for analyzing the eco-architecture of a product at the configuration designstage is proposed. It produces an optimal eco-architecture under the given environmental regulations. To dealwith the case ofa complex product, the method is extended for analyzing hierarchical eco-architecture.

The adequacy of industrial water supply is one of the core elements of the construction of industrial complexes. This study examined the supply of industrial water through various ways, according to the planning and creation of industrial complexes and the operating utilization rate of tenant companies oksan industrial complex. As for calculating the supply of industrial water and establishing water supply plan, the basic data analysis and the land use plan are utilised. The adequacy of calculating the basic unit by industry, which is the basis for calculating industrial water, was evaluated. In addition, analyzed industrial water usage data and the raw unit of each industry was compared with the actual data from the Oksan Industrial Complex, which selected as the research target area among the industrial complexes in Cheongju-si administrative districts, where actual data can be secured. The result of the study shows that the peak load rate of industrial water was found to have the peak load of more than twice as the result of analyzing the actual usage, and the basic unit of industrial water industry showed a significant difference from the actual usage. In particular, the decreasing rate of the basic units was significant comparing the increasing rate of basic units. In addition, the raw unit of the industry that uses more water decreased significantly, and the raw unit of the industry that uses less water increased slightly.
Industrial complexes have have been played an important role in various aspects such as national industrial development, economic growth. However, it is a cluster of manufacturing facilities which has a great impact on the surrounding area and the overall domestic environment during the operation of the facility. In this study, environmental influences and siting characteristics of industrial complexes were investigated based on the environmental impact assessment report from 2009 to 2019. The development tendency of industrial complexes is continuous decline, and major development areas are Gyeonggi, Gyeongsang and Chungcheong areas. We also confirmed that the average area of defenestration due to industrial complex is on the decline. Furthermore, the residential area and educational facilities, and the exposed population affected by industrial complex is constantly increased.
Since 2003, the National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER) of Korea has been conducting "The monitoring study on exposure level and biomarkers of environmental pollutants" in the Ulsan industrial complex with the goals to establish a surveillance system for residents, to evaluate the health effects associated with chronic exposure to environmental pollutants and to develop the environmental health indicators in Ulsan industrial complex. This program consists of three phases an initial or foundation phase in which the program is developed, made operational and extended to the community, followed by an evaluation and accountability assessment of the surveillance system and finally an improvement in the quality of life and the maintenance of good health for Ulsan residents. In the period 2003 to 2008, the study program developed the surveillance system which will be used for the full-length survey. All participants in this study were contacted at a presentation meeting for residents, introduced to the objectives and protocols of the survey, and asked to participate. Informed consent was obtained from each participant. The study is now underway and includes questionnaires, health examinations and the analysis/collection/banking of bio-sample such as blood and urine. To date 828 subjects have participated and already 588 subjects have been followed up. We are committed to complete health examinations and to arrange storage of biosample for all participants. During the current year, we will analyze metals (Pb in blood and Cd, inorganic As and Hg in urine) in 1,972 samples and VOCs (11 species) and PARs (18 species) in 300 samples (blood sample). Moreover, the summary of the first step and the further preparation of the second step are currently underway. In this article, we introduce the study and its protocols and the distribution and size of the study participants. In conclusion, this survey will be continuously conducted on the established cohort and will enable the identification of relationship between environmental pollutant exposures and the health status of residents in Ulsan industrial complex.
