n-Octadecane 으로부터 항공유 제조를 위한 Pt-Mg/mesoporous aluminosilicate 촉매 연구 (A Study of Pt-Mg/Mesoporous Aluminosilicate Catalysts for Synthesis of Jet-fuel from n-Octadecane)

  • Y 제올라이트로부터 합성한 메조 포러스 물질을 지지체로 사용한 백금 촉매를 n-octadecane의 수첨업그레이딩 반응을 통한 항공유 제조에 적용 하였다. Y 제올라이트를 골격 구성물질로 사용하여 메조 포러스 알루미노실리케이트($MMZ_{HY}$)를 합성 하였다. $Pt/MMZ_{HY}$ 촉매상에서 Mg 첨가가 n-octadecane의 수첨업그레이딩 반응에 미치는 영향을 고찰 하였다. 촉매의 특성은 X 선 회절, 질소 흡착, 승온환원, 암모니아승온탈착 및 흡착 피리딘 적외선 분광법으로 수행 하였다. 본 연구에서 Mg가 2 wt% 첨가된 $Pt/MMZ_{HY}$ 촉매가 가장 높은 항공유 수율을 보였는데, 이는 Mg의 첨가에 의해 Pt금속의 분산도와 환원도가 증가할 뿐만 아니라, 산점의 양과 세기가 증가하기 때문이다. 또한 $PtMg/MMZ_{HY}$ 촉매 상에서 이소 파라핀에 대한 선택도가 80 % 이상임을 확인하였다.

  • The preparation methods are to be used as "melting method" and "absorption method", respectively. The reaction mixture in the reaction container was heating up the reaction mixture to $200^{\circ}C$ for 2 hour. The mixing time of lab scale preparation should be provided quit long, instead of the short working time in a compounder vessel. And The PP-PCM mixture in the reaction container was heating up the mixture around $60-80^{\circ}C$ for 2 hour. A melting method of frozen gel with 50/50 weight ratio of polypropylene-normal octadecane was prepared by adding PP chip and normal octadecane. An absorption method of frozen gel with 70/30 weight ratio of PP 4.8-normal n-octadecane was prepared by adding PP powder and normal octadecnae.

N - Octadecane의 상변화 열전달현상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Heat Transfer with Phase Change of N - Octadecane)

  • Experimental and numerical analysis were performed to investigate the heat transfer phenomena during phase change. N-octadecane were used as a phase change material and TRUMP computer code was used as a numerical tool. Also, two quarter segment of cylinder shape was chosen as a vessel to simulate to this research. The major contribution factor on the solidus surface movement was environmental temperature and the effect of roller gap and material initial temperature were insignificant. Experimental and numerical results were generally in good agreement and the effect of the mesh size ($22{\times}22$ and $33{\times}33$) was negligible.

  • The secondary nitrogen donors of the Ni(II) complexes of macrotricyclic ligands 8-methyl-1,3,6,8,10,13,15-heptaazatricyclo $[13.1.1.1^{13,15}]$octadecane (A) and 1,3,6,9,11,14-hexaazatricyclo $[12.2.1.1^{6,9}]$octadecane (B) are N-alkylated and the Ni(II) complexes of $N-Me_2A,\;N-Et_2A,\;and\;N-Me_2B$ are obtained. The Ni(II) complexes of $N-Me_2A\;and\;N-Et_2A$ are stable in acidic aqueous solutions while that of $N-Me_2B$ decomposes relatively rapidly. The N-alkylation leads to the decrease in the ligand field strength as well as an anodic shift in both of the oxidation and the reduction potentials of the Ni(II) complexes.

해양에서 분리된 Klebsiella sp. KCL-1에 의한 원유분해 특성의 규명 (Characterization of Crude Oil Degradation by Klebsiella sp. KCL-1 Isolated from Sea Water)

  • Several bacterial strains utilizing crude oil as their sole carbon and energy sources were isolated from marine. One of the strains named KCL-1 showed the highest degradative activity for crude oil and the best growth rate. This strain was identified as a Klebsiella sp. based on the morphological, biochemical, and physiological characteristics. The optimum cultural conditions were as follows; $32^{\circ}C$~$37^{\circ}C$ for temperature and 7.0 for initial pH. Additionally, the optimal concentration of sodium chloride was 3.0%, indicating that this strain was derived from seawater. KCL-1 could use several kinds of n-alkane hydrocarbons from octadecane to hexacosane as a sole carbon source. The degradation of crude oil by KCL-1 was stimulated by addition of octadecane in the culture. The emulsifying activity by KCL-1 was highest after 3 days of cultivation under the condition of 3.0% sodium chloride, pH 7.0 and $37^{\circ}C$.

  • Optimum finishing position, thickness and phase change temperature of winter and summer season were selected and suitability of finishing materials was evaluated based on temperature measurement of specimens applying the coating material mixed phase change materials(PCM). As a result, when finishing position was interior and finishing thickness of coating material mixed n-Octadecane(28℃ PCM) was 4mm, thermal performance was effective. n-Octadecane in summer season and n-Hexadecane(18℃ PCM) in winter season are indicated effective on energy savings, respectively.

낙동강수계 주요 하·폐수처리장 방류수내 미량유해물질 모니터링 (Monitoring of Hazardous Chemicals for Effluents of STPs and WWTP in the Nakdong River Basin)

  • This study was investigated twenty two hazardous chemicals compounds for effluents of nine sewage treatment plants (STPs) and one waste water treatment plant (WWTP) in the Nakdong Ri-ver Basin. They are eleven phthalates(DMP, DEP, DIBP, DBP, BEEP, DNPP, DHP, DCP, DEHP, DNOP, Dinonyl phthalate, seven aliphatic hydrocarbons(n-Tridecane, n-Tetradecane, n-Pentadecan-e, n-Hexadecane, n-Heptadecane, n-Octadecane, n-Nonadecane, Isoquinoline, 2-Chloropyridine, 2-N-itrophenol, and Benzophenone. The twenty two compounds were analyzed by gas chromatograp-hy mass spectrometry (GC/MS) with liquid-liquid extraction (LLE). Twenteen of twenty two subs-tances were detected. They were DMP, DEP, DIBP, DBP, DEHP, n-Tetradecane, n-Pentadecane, n-Heptadecane, n-Octadecane, n-Nonadecane, Isoquinoline and Benzophenone. Among these, DEHP, DEP and Benzophenone were most frequently observed. They were obtained as $ND{\sim}36.881{\mu}g/L$, $ND{\sim}0.950{\mu}g/L$, $ND{\sim}2.019{\mu}g/L$, respectively. When the substances were calculated the average concentration at 10 points, the maximum average detection concentration was investigated at the Dalseocheon STP.

Structure of a Copper(Ⅱ) Hexaazamacrotricyclic Complex : (1,3,6,9,11,14-Hexaazatricyclo[12.2.1.16,9]octadecane)-copper(Ⅱ) Perchlorate

  • The crystal structure of (1,3,6,9,11,14-hexaazatricycol[12.2.1.$1^{6,9}$]octadecane)copper(Ⅱ) perchlorate, Cu($C_{12}H_{26}N_6$)$(ClO_4)_2$, has been determined by the X-ray diffraction methods. The crystal data are as follows: Mr=516.9, triclinic, ${\alpha}=8.572\;(2)$, b=8.499 (3), c=15.204 (3) ${\AA}$, ${\alpha}=80.42\;(5),\;{\beta}=73.57\;(3),\;{\gamma}=69.82\;(4)^{\circ},\;V=994.2\;{\AA}^3,\;D_C=1.726\;gcm^{-3}$, space group $P{\tilde{1}},\;Z=2,\;{\mu}=21.27\;cm^{-1}&, F(000)=534 and T=297 K. The structure was solved by direct methods and refined by full-matrix least-squares methods to and R value of 0.081 for 1608 observed reflections measured with graphite-mono-chromated Mo Ka radiation on a diffractometer. There are two independent complexes in the unit cell. The two copper ions lie at the special positions (1/2, 0, 0) and (0, 1/2, 1/2)and each complex possesses crystallographic center of symmetry. Each Cu ion is coordinated to four nitrogen donors if the hexaazamacrotricyclic ligand and weakly interacts with two oxygen atoms of the perchlorate ions to form a tetragonally distorted octahedral coordination geometry. The Cu_N (sec), Cu_N(tert) and Cu_O coordination distances are 1.985 (14), 2.055 (14) and 2.757 (13) ${\AA}$ for the complex A and 1.996 (10), 2.040 (11) and 2.660 (13) ${\AA}$ for the complex B, respectively. The macrocycles in the two independent cations assume a similar conformation with the average r.m.s. deviation of 0.073 ${\AA}$. Two 1,3-diazacyclopentane ring moieties of the hexaazamacrotricyclic ligand are placed oppositely and almost perpendicularly to the square coordination plane of the ruffled 14-membered macrocycle. The secondary N atoms are hydrogen-bonded to the perchlorate O atoms with distances of 3.017 (23) and 3.025 (19) ${\AA}$ for the complexes A and B, respectively.

  • As main index of petroleum pollution in the marine organisms n-, iso-paraffins were purified with clean-up method and measured by FID-GC. Ten species of fishes from the near seas of Korea were employed for the study. n-Heptadecane was detected in most fishes. n-Hexadecane and n-octadecane of n-paraffins were highly accumulated in four species of fishes(Seriola quinqueradiata, Sardinia melamosticta, Clupanodon punctatus and Stromateoids argentus), also n-tetradecane and n-hexadecane accumulated in Cololadis saira. Remarkable peak pattern of n-paraffins was not observed in other fishes. Pristane of iso-paraffins was detected in four species of fishes (Sardinia melamosticta, Clupanodon punctatus, Stromateoides orgentus and Cololadis saira).

탄화수소로부터 균체단백질의 생산에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Production of Microbial Cell Protein from Hydrocarbon)

  • 1) 고온성으로 탄화수소를 자화할 수 있는 균체를 생산하는 목적으로 90여점의 시료로부터 세 균주의 효모를 선별하여 다음의 결과를 얻었다. 2) 선정된 세 균주 효모의 최적생육온도는 4$0^{\circ}C$~45$^{\circ}C$였과. 그리고 이들은 각각 Candida tropicalis (strain A-28), Torulopsis molisichiana (strain B-8) 그리고 Candide krusei (strain C-15)로 각각 동정되었다. 3) 특히 균주 A-28은 tetradecane, hexadecane 과 octadecane을 다같이 쉽게 자화하였고 B-8과 C-15 균주는 다른 n-paraffin 보다 hexadecane을 잘 자화하였다. 4) 선정된 세 균주효모의 세대시간은 3.4.~4.0 시간, 비증식속도는 0.170~0.215이고 그리고 균체수율은 86~98%이였다. 5) 이들 균체의 조단백질은 48.2~61.5%, 지방은 3.7~8.0%, 조섬유는 3.5~4.2%, 회분은 5.6~6.7%, 무질소가용성 물질은 23.5~31.8%였고, thiamine은 0.28~0.93 mg%, riboflavin 6.03~7.3 mg%이었다. 6) 균체단백질의 아미노산조성은 비교적 골고루 함유되었다. 그러나 함황(sulfur containing) amino acid는 극히 적었다.
