  • This paper presents a method for increasing controller performance through multirate state estimation for ac machines at a low velocity. The multirate controller outputs control desired speed at each measurement Instant. The simulation results show that the performance of multirate velocity estimation and control at low velocity is improved than single rate one.

  • A typical type-1 positioning servomechanism is theoretically analyzed as a multirate sampled-data system which contains two or more signals sampled at different rates by the Z-transform method. And also it is analyzed as a continuous system by using the Younsei 101 Electronic Analog Computer. Comparing the solution of the multirate sampled data system with that of the continuous system to a step input, it is concluded that the response time of the output of the multirate sampled-data system is reduced by a multirate controller, the ripple between samples is lessened and all the transients are diminished within one period.

  • A Nordsick form opf the multirate integration scheme has been proposed for flexible multibody dynamic systems. It is assumed that vibrational modal coordinates in the equations of motion are treated as fast variables, whereas the relative joint coordinates are treated as slow variables. In the multirate integration, the fast variables are integrated with small step-size, and the slow variables are integrated with larger step-size. The proposed multirate integration method is based on the Adams-Bashforth-Moulton predictor-corrector method and implemented in the Nordsieck vector form. The Nordsieck form of multrate integration method provides effective step-size control and at the same time, inherits the efficiency from the Adams integration method. Simulations of a flexible gun and turret system of the military tank have been carried out to show the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed method.

  • In this paper, optimal digital design is studied within the framework of sampled-data control theory. In particular, multirate discretization of analog controller is considered using an H$_2$optimality criterion. Solutions are obtained via multirate H$_2$optimization with a causality constraint due to the multirate structure. In design example, the comparison of the proposed methods is made with the conventional discretization methods, and demonstrate the superiority of the multirate design method.

  • A common way to design a digital control system is to design an analog controller first and discretize it for digital implemention. In this paper, optimal digital controller design is studied within the framework of sampled -data control theory.   • In the Multirate DS/CDMA system based on VSL(Variable Spreading Length), the problem of the multiple access interference and effect similar to near-far effects in current system is generated. This problem can degrade performance of the system badly. Therefore, In this paper we proposed Hybrid Interference Cancellation to overcome this problems, Simulation result presents that the proposed Hybrid Interference Cancellation has the better performance than the conventional decorrelator, Parallel Interference Cancellation.

  • 본 논문에서는 wavelet 패킷의 직교성을 이용한 새로운 다중 통신 시스템을 구성하고 그 특성을 분석하였다. 유한에너지 신호공간 L$^2$(R)로부터 부분공간으로 신호를 분해할 수 있는 MRA(Multiresolution Analysis)의 기본개념과 이를 이용한 wavelet와 QMF(Quadrature Mirror Filter)와의 관계를 검토하였다. MRA의 개념을 보다 일반화한 신호의 wavelet 패킷 변환과 역변환을 실현하기 위한 알고리즘을 고찰하고 MRF(Multirate Filter Bank)를 이용하여 다중화 시스템을 설계하였다. 제안된 시스템은 구성이 간단하며 최대 이용자의 수와 정보 데이터의 전송율에 대한 유연성을 기대할 수 있음을 보였다.

  • This paper is proposed of multirate nonlinear controller for robot manipulator. The proposed controller is obtained by structure changes of feedback controller with C.T.M and for time differences commanded in caculating each term of controller, multirate sampling is used. And more robust controller is proposed by considering one-step ahead predictive action. In order to evaluate proposed controller, computer simulation is performed for a 3 D.O.F robot manipulator with varying load.

  • In order to enhance the system capacity of multi rate IEEE 802.11 WLAN, we propose the transmission rate select method using the control frame in this paper. The transmission rate is selected dynamically based on the RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indicator) of received control frame. And we also propose the Enhanced NAV Update method for Fragmented MPDU burst transmission in multirate WLAN environment. This method can improve the system capacity by support the burst transmission of fragmented MPDU.

  • In this paper, the RBF-based multiuser detector (MUD) is proposed for a multirate DS/CDMA system. The performance of RBF-based MUD is compared with that of many suboptimal multiuser detectors in terms of bit error probability. From the simulation results, it is confirmed that the RBF-based multiuser detector outperforms decorrelating detector, and achieves near-optimum performance in several situations. The results in this paper can be applied to design of MUD fur a multirate DS/CDMA system.
